Karu comes from an old family and can trace his lineage to the King of the Southern Land. It is said that the prince he shares his bloodline with fled to the country of his region during the War of the Lands. It was here that he married into the family of a blacksmith and warrior men. His uncle on his father’s side still runs the blacksmith down in the Southern Land as his father, and soon to be him, runs the Warrior’s school in the Central Land. While growing up, Karu learned the way of the scythe and martial arts, he even knows a few blacksmithing secrets.
His mother is Re’Aven ‘s father’s sister. Those who first hear of Re’Aven and Karu’s relation don’t believe it because of the skin difference. Karu has a dark tan native to his birthplace whereas Re’Aven has light peach skin, native to the Central Land.
Karu has an elder sister who was banished from the family by their grandfather; she had no desire to learn their trade. He doesn’t know her personally, as she was banished when he was only five and she fifteen.
Quite to a fault he only seems to talk to Re’Aven and Iza’Byl, who he has fallen in love with yet won’t say anything to her. He is quite serious and hardly ever laughs. He is devoted to his family and friends and will do anything to protect them. He can seem quite scary at times, usually showing a scowl. Karu is very polite and well mannered and always keeps his word. He can be blunt at times, never understanding why people tell a tale just for a sentence.
He is very adept at using a scythe as a weapon, although he prefers the families’ double scythe, and is well versed in hand to hand combat.
Karu is the second to come into his powers. During a visit with his uncle in the Southern Lands he came across a group of children harassing a cat tied to a tree. In his anger, a nearby plant exploded in flames. Years later he yelled at his grandfather and ran out of the house, never knowing he accidently lit the carpet on fire. His grandfather receded into his office unaware of the fire, before he could escape the flames had reached him, he perished in the fire. Karu swore to never use his abilities again.

Re’Aven Ae’Cion (Rae-Ahh ven Ay Cee On)

Re’Aven bears the type of name from the Northern Lands were his family first originated from. Although there lineage is lost around the time their Great-great-great ancestor traveled down to the central lands, it is believed they share the blood with a great warrior clan who specializes in fighting with two swords.
Re’Aven lost his father when he was eight when the building he was employed to construct exploded. Re’Aven was very close to his father, his little brother, Re’Iaen, never got to know him.
Re’Aven is very quiet. He is naturally shy and a think before you speak kind of person. He would rather hide in the dark than stand in the light. He doesn’t like talking about his skill and hates the many girls at school that follow him to every meet. Unlike Karu, Re’Aven loves laughing, but only in the presence of his friends and family.
Along with wielding double swords, Re’Aven practices archery and is on the running team at school. He also attends the martial arts school his Uncle runs.
Re’Aven is very close to Erin. In fact, he is love with her and everyday he fights to tell her. He has been friends with Erin, who calls him Raven since she could never pronounce his name right, since he was five years old.
Re’Aven is the third to come across his powers. When he was twelve he snuck into the High Temple, where their families Twin Wind Swords are held, pulled down the Twin Swords and started dancing with them. The end of one dance calls for the dancer to lung forward with the swords crossing and to pull them away from each other. As he did that, a gust of wind released from the swords. During other secret dancing sessions he managed to gain control of this ability. Karu is the only one who knows of this and Re’Aven is the only one who knows of Karu’s ability to control fire.

Madison Wescott

Typical outfit: School – Blue dress shirt, purple pants, purple over coat, black shoes and a purple tie. Out of school – Normally wears shorts when weather permits otherwise she wears pants. Madison HATES skirts and dresses.

Madison was born into a very wealthy and high standing family. When she was just a small child her parents arranged a marriage to the son of an equally wealthy and high standing family. She lost contact with her future husband after his mother committed suicide and eventually met up with him at school.
During the day when she is surrounded by society, she must act like a proper lady or her mother will dismiss her and banish her from the family. Even though she hates her mother and would love nothing more than to act out, she secretly desires her mother’s love and for her to accept her as she is. During the night when most of society is asleep, she is able to become her true self. Most of the time you can find her in the clubs built for teens.
Being short and young, Madison is very spunky and is able to get away with most of her actions, since everyone believes she is younger than she is. She is very adept at using words to her benefit. She may call you names and you wouldn’t even know it.
Everyone knows the Wescott’s are a very powerful family, thus everyone at school tries to become friends with her, hoping to raise their own status. The first friend she does make at this school is Aurora.
Her cousin is the High Priestess of the Village where she is sent to school. She also as a very distant relation to the Langster Triplets.
Madison is the last to come to her powers, as she lacks concentration. It is fact Aurora who mentioned it could be Energy since Madison never seems to slow down and has a fondness for thunderstorms.
