She is dependable, and creative, sweet but also tough. She has survived sixteen years of people bullying her, making fun of her because she cannot speak. Her own parents have given up hope of her ever living a normal life, falling in love, much less get married and have a family. Shoot, they gave up on her when she was in seventh grade, but she has fought to show them wrong, show them that she is more than a worthless, waste of a human being. Her own parents do not even know she is gay, but then, most people do not know that, for they never get close enough to her to actually hold a conversation with her. A lot of people think that she must be dumb just because she cannot speak, and that the only reason she has made it this far in school is that people took pity on her. She actually hates the pity, and will refuse any pity grades, though she does accept some of the "pity perks" as she calls them, such as the ability to eat in the teacher's lounge when she has had enough of the students in the cafeteria, and she can usually bring one friend along with her, so that she does not have to converse with the teachers.⇐ The Loves Of My Life⇒Art

Homophobes⇐ A Little Bit About Me⇒Utopia was born to two, seemingly loving parents, and they did love her, even when the doctor announced that she was mute. The doctor said her vocal cords did not develop properly and that there was really nothing they could do about it. They cared for her, spoiled her, and she flourished, for a bit. It was obvious that she was a very expressive child, even without having a voice, and her art and writing, even at the young age of seven captured that about her. Besides her abilities in art and writing, she was an average student, getting B's and C's with the occasional A thrown in.
The bullying started around the time she started school, the other students questioning her why she could not speak, and when she went to write down the answer, would steal her pen and paper, as if she was pretending not to speak. Her parents were alerted of the bullying but, against all advice, did not remove Utopia from public school. Instead, they began to give up hope. They gave up hope that she would even be able to make a friend, and even when she did in sixth grade, they were already on the verge of giving up and nothing would change their minds.
Seventh grade started and Utopia found herself being bullied more, her bullies tired of her not speaking, screaming, or making any sort of noise at all for that matter. When Utopia was at her lowest point, her parents managed to push her lower, finally giving up on her. They would leave money for her each month and she would live off that each month. She did not even receive birthday or Christmas presents anymore. It was as if her parents were paying her not to leave, even though they could have cared less what happened to her.
It was hitting rock bottom that drove Utopia to fight back, to stop wallowing in self pity, because she hated pity in general. She decided that she would prove to her parents, and everyone else that she was not a worthless, waste of a human being, but that she actually could accomplish whatever she set her mind too. Her grades picked up, going from C's and B's to B's and A's. She reinvented her style, sort of. She cut her hair, got a nose ring, started getting tattoos, and began wearing more guy's clothing than girl's clothing.⇐ ●San_Katt●

Jerks⇐ A Little Bit About Me⇒Born in South Korea, and raised all over Europe and Asia, Seung was used to travelling by a young age, and used to accepting people for who they were, not how they looked or where they were born. His parents were both South Korean, but they were travelers, even before Seung was born. They wanted him to be a citizen of South Korea, so when they found out that Seung’s mother was pregnant, they settled down until he was around two. They then began travel again, despite the fact that travelling with a two-year-old was rather difficult. However, as Seung aged, he learned to distance himself from everyone around him, not getting close to anyone, because he feared attachment and loss.
His parents finally settled down in their current location when Seung was first entering high school, mostly because they wanted to see what it was like, and because Seung had been diagnosed with split personality disorder and they wanted him to feel like he could be accepted and make friends. Thing was, Seung did not want to become attached and remained distant from everyone, even those on the track and swimming teams. Oddly enough, he did get into drama, and proved that just because he was distant did not mean he could not act or be outgoing. In truth, it was the exact opposite; because of his world travels, he spoke many languages and could pull off almost any accent he tried.⇐ ●San_Katt●

Seventeen⇐ My Official Title Is⇒Quasimodo⇐ I'm Told That I Am⇒cautious. I am a wallflower, and a cautious one at that. I know not to overstep my boundaries and if I do,I know to quickly shuffle back to where I belong. I do have a rebellious side, it just comes in a different form than what most people think of. Most people would not think visiting your mother is rebellious, but when she is in the loony bin and your father, who is too protective for his own good, decides that she is too dangerous for you to even go see, you do what you have to so that you can see her. Everyone agrees that I am cautious, like, way too cautious, and this is true. I am cautious because I do not want to anger someone, or hurt someone. It is also because I have to be extremely cautious around my mother and it has become so second nature to me that now that I do it for her, I just do it for everyone. My father says I fear rejection and failure, as well as pain, and he might be right, but he is no psychologist, and neither am I, so I guess we will never know. I am kidding, I have a soul, I think… Anyway, my mom was never mentally stable, I mean she was not crazy or anything, but she was not all together there mentally, having Schizophrenia and all. They told my dad that I was likely to have Schizophrenia too, though I was not lucky and took after mom him and have so far been showing signs of Schizophrenia free, though there is still time I suppose…Just for it to get worse!
Anyway, dad decided just recently to lock mom away in the loony bin because she swore up and down dad and me were out to get her and tried to kill us with steak knives. Dad said it was best for her and I believe him, but I still think she deserves a second chance, just because she is not all there mentally. He says that she has had plenty of chances and that it is obvious that the medication she is on now is not working too well, and she needs twenty-four-seven doctor care.
I was born an only child, so now that mom is gone it is just dad and me. Well, except for my pet ferret Draco. I am obsessed with Harry Potter, so I named my ferret Draco, especially because it is completely blonde. Harry Potter stuff completely lines the walls of my room, from posters to banners, to pictures I have drawn myself or printed out from the internet. My old friends even called me Fred sometimes because of how much I look like the Weasley twins, and because Fred is my favorite of the twins.
Aside from my obsession with Harry Potter, I am actually a very talented writer, writing poems and stories, though for some reason my poems always seem to be depressing or start out depressing and become happy at the very end. I am told that I can capture the reader in my writing and that that particular skill is rare, though a very good skill to have. I often use my writing as a form of release when I am feeling sad or angry about something instead of doing something physical.⇐ ●San_Katt●

I care for people, but I am also very hard on them, because it is one of the only ways that I know how to show love. When I was younger my dad and I would always wrestle for fun, and that was how we would show we loved each other, and it sort of transferred over into the way I treat other people. I am pretty harsh when it comes to some of my friends, though very rarely, because, and I am totally referencing Glee here, I am Santana and they are the rest of the Glee club I am the one everyone fears, more or less, and it is a love hate relationship. Using Santana again, I am easily angered, and when I am, I yell, and I do so very often, except when it comes to my friends, most of the time. They're just everyday, run of the mill, parents. My mom is a stay at home mom and my dad is a doctor at the local hospital. They always encouraged me to follow my dreams and, when I was five, I decided that I want to be a swimmer... which was exactly what I did. I am a competitive swimmer. I've been swimming in competitions since I was five, and I wouldn't stop even if I wanted to. But, along side my competitive swimming, I did take some acting classes.
