what does being pit boss/ganster mean?
These are usually people that work at casinos. A customer goes to a pit boss to ask to start a bet. A pit boss may accept to bet with the customer. They then agree on how much they would like to bet(10,000 gold, 50,000 gold, ect.) and the customer sends that amount of gold to the pit boss in a trade. They agree on the terms of the bet(# Dice, RNG, Double or Nothing, HNW, LNW, etc.). Both the pit boss and the customer roll the same amount of dice or generate a number at the same intervals, and whoever wins, wins the gold If the pit boss wins, they keep the gold that was traded to them. If the customer wins, the pit boss trades them double the amount of gold traded.
A gangster just makes sure people in the casino do not scam and if people do do scam, the gangster(s) will help take care of the situation☺
