Did you enjoy the attack on the council, did you hate it? do you have suggestions to make it better? It was meant as a simple diversion. I did not post the breakdown of who would move and what numbers knocked players out to keep people from cheating. To keep me from cheating I will email the code to someone, (maybe the vice secretary. I sent it to the Galactic Messenger this time so atleast there is a record of it, I will never be eligible to win a prize anyway though).
The RP was designed so that no character would be killed, and the details exposed themselves as the game progressed and an attempt was made to make it add to the "history" we are creating here. I know some of you think this sucked, but you must admit the prize was good. Please discuss here. The plan is to do something similar again soon, following the same basic structure but changing the way the dice and number generator are used.

It was very fun to finally have a chance to roll play (its honestly been a very long time since I've done this). I both liked and disliked the random number system. While it sort of annoyed me how there was no control over if you won or lost except pure chance, I understood it added that element of uncertainty which is always there in life. Though I think while the numbers should have a great influence on how your character does, I don't think it should be cut and dry if you get lower than ten you're out.
My main issue though was how everyone was supposed to act separately. We're all there, we should be acting together, or at least paying attention to what others are doing. Our characters have eyes. It really bothered me how my character pretty much knocked someone out. If people read others actions they can respond to them, so instead of five people charging and shooting blindly there can be more of a tactical system going on. Nothing really complex, just instead of everyone going, I charge! It can be more, I'm charging for the head! Then other people can be like, oh, he's going for the head, I'll shoot at its foot so I won't hit him. Like that.
It was really fun though, don't get me wrong. My issues really aren't that big, I just over explain things at times.

Not at all, your opinion is invaluable. The reason I had everyone act independently was because i was worried about continuity and the action of some contradicting with the actions of others. But I guess I should give the players more credit.
I also made a sweeping code the first time around that would eliminate approximately 1/2 the characters just so it would be easier to manage.
I think we will try to allow the characters to act separately next time. thanks for your suggestions.
PS, I hoped you would like it since you won!!!, congratulations.

wingedkitty is right, the main problem with it was that it wasn't true RPing. We couldn't react to others, so our character wasn't really brought out. But hey, it was fun and unexpected!
