Hallo everybody!
Guess what I learned after I got off work last night? Two things: 1. I should really be more careful when rinsing off a cake knife. 2. I am a danger to myself and others.
See, because my boss and I both had birthdays this week, another lady from work brought a chocolate cake for all of us to enjoy. After I clocked out for the night yesterday evening, my boss told me I could take some home, so I cut a piece of cake for myself and then decided to wash the knife so nobody else would have to do it. (Y'all know where this is going, right??) It was one of those plastic cake knives with a metal blade in it, and I knew already that I was going to have to watch out for that blade. HOWEVER, when I was rinsing it, I thought that the blade was on the *other* edge of the knife from where I was trying to scrub off the chocolate goo. IT WASN'T. emotion_donotwant So now I have a gash in my right index finger, that runs the width of my fingertip. xp So...yeah. I'm a danger to myself and others. sweatdrop

Reminds me of how I had managed to stab my finger with a catfood can lid.
