Well, it'd be more accurate for me to say 'we', but anyhow, it's true.
The Templars control everything, absolutely everything.
Now, Assassin's Creed 3 is on its way, and I just realized, even if it's the last game... The Assassins cannot win in the end. They can't. It won't happen.
To defeat the Templars one would have to remove their methods of control...
So, what does this include?
Simply put, television, the internet, the health care system, government, religion, commercialism, capitalism, everything. They control it all.
The only way for the Assassins to win, is to dismantle the illusion the Templars perpetuate... namely, society.
So, if you expect a decisive end all victory in AC3, or any games that follow, don't. We may make some strides, but we can never win.

I actually thought the same thing. I mean, no matter how big of a dent you out into their control, they still control the whole world, and the assassins do not have enough man power to fully destroy their control unless they have someone working within the inside at a very high leadership position honestly.

Bug430 I actually thought the same thing. And what if they can? Say, they infiltrate the top of the organization and gut it... What happens? Society falls apart. The economy becomes almost nonexistent, people rioting in the streets... We're practically the bad guys here...

Actually a new assassin's creed is coming, it is called Assassin's Creed Black Flag. It will be available for the following game consoles, PS3, Xbox360, PS4 (which is coming soon.) and PC. So it will be coming soon to those platforms, I can't wait for it to come out.

Vanitas Kingdom Hearts Actually a new assassin's creed is coming, it is called Assassin's Creed Black Flag. It will be available for the following game consoles, PS3, Xbox360, PS4 (which is coming soon.) and PC. So it will be coming soon to those platforms, I can't wait for it to come out. Yeah, I heard. The naval gameplay was hugely popular it seems, although I would have preferred it been much less linear myself. I never would have expected them to make such a sudden jump to a game where it becomes a central feature like this, though. October, I believe?
