What requirements must a planet make to be able to join our new government?
i.e. Should they have a form of government that allows a vote by their people, can a dictatorship become a member?
Must planets have a single form of government and speak as one voice when addressing the council?


This is the place for open discussion, nothing here is binding.

I think dictatorships should be allowed, but only to a certain extent. We don't want another Congregation!
I also think that a planet must be able to put forth an ambassador that is intelligent to some extent. (And literate)

I think that each member planet should allow it's citizens to vote in some compacity. (((All of our home governments are fairly new; or were sub-levels of Congregation government, or existed in secret from the Congregation, as they thought they ruled everywhere.)))

However, with that said, we must strive for wording that allows loop-holes or some way not to interfere too strongly with member planets government. I believe in strong planetary govt, and weak Central govt. But the educators who live at LB-1748 believe we should not support opprevise governements out of remembrance of our pasts.
