I refuse to believe Tobi is Obito, it makes no sense and doesn't add up! He does turn out to be 'Obito (which I refuse), it is probably just to please fans and nothing as that wouldn't the first time someone changed or went with something just for fans.
Naruto better not end up with Hinata then or I would really be unhappy with the series. Just not the same anymore and getting hard to defeat using logic as well as pointing out myths. I was really looking forward to this arc too as it had so much potential and high hopes, now they all been dashed. emo
Nothing is official yet, that's good. There is still a chance to make theories and have things prove otherwise.
Good thing my favorite series are Monster, NANA and Death Note.

Personally, I'm still going with my Rin theory, if for nothing more than they're hinting way too heavily at the "it's Obito"
She was a medic that performed eye surgery on the fly, she was traumatized by his death, right there is ability and motive. She even knows where his body is.
Yes, she's not an Uchiha, but if she changed her feelings for Kakashi over enough, she might start deluding herself into what her relationship with Obito really was. I've seen that sort of thing happen all the time in real life.
But then, this is Kishimoto's story, and he'll write what he wants, either to please fans or himself.

I am sticking with Izuna for now as so little is know, I guess we'll just wait and see.
Yeah, it is his story and he can do what he pleases, I just really hope Tobi doesn't turn out to be Obito, but oh well.

I wouldn't necessarily quit as it is basically the ending of the series now as I heard he plans to end it soon or after this arc, but I would be greatly disappointed personally as all my work of pointing it out how it isn't possible and my theories would be for nothing and really doesn't make much sense, so Kishi would have to do a LOT of explaining. sweatdrop

Ugh, no! Why Kishi why? Nothing makes any sense anymore. emo
I guess death and crushed eyes and body parts are lies. How can a caring guy who isn't even that old turn so evil? It's lie....He only be part of one war and it was short compared to other wars, he wouldn't experienced. How would he know about so many things and people, who are from other countries and are old or dead. How could he have controlled Yagura. Ugh, more questions then answers!

I just thought of a big plot hole. How the hell did he give Nagato the Rinnegan like he claimed if Nagato is much older? I though Tobi said that or implied he took back was really his (remember Nagato was a kid at the time and about age 40 as an adult while Obito is about Kakashi's age, about 30. So Nagato is at least 10 years older).

I know, it's probably fake, but still....I really don't want to believe his as Obito, just can't make any sense of it. Okay, I am in huge denial and really wanted him to be Izuna. ;_;
If he is dead and strong as Madara, why wasn't he revived?

I have a theory, what if he isn't really Obito (which I am hoping he isn't, for one, doesn't make sense and too, seems so out of character and Obito only experienced war for a short time, where it was implied Tobi is experienced about that.), but Tobi is using it has a illusion to trick Kakashi, since he is fighting him? There is too many plot holes for it to be Obito. Big one would be age as it seemed to imply that Tobi is old, a lot older than Obito if he was alive (he was involved in the bloody mist, pulling out the kyuubi from Kushina, giving Nagato the rinnegan from what I remember, etc....) and the fact that Obito is said to be dead and Kakashi is more reliable when it comes to saying stuff like that.
Still a big problem is the eye, even if he stole it, it would of been crushed, unless only parts were crushed, but not everything (rocks and boulders can have weird shapes and may leave some gaps in places).
Also, why bring up Izuna at all and why wasn't he revived with other edo tensei if he was about as skilled as Madara and why would Obito be really shocked or angry about Madara being revived?

I am still having a hard time believing he is Obito, I still don't actually.
His name means nothing to him? That's odd and why would he not explain how he "lived"? I can see him being upset about Rin (which they never did explain how she died) as he was in love with her, but I don't see him turning out like this.
What about other events and things that happened in the past, how is "Obito" going to explain that. The rinnegan and controlling Yagura are important (and I am biased towards the water country. Kiri was always my fave as they are so bad a**) as Tobi was involved (he also had long hair back then. I still say this is an illusion/disguise).
