Okay so ... ever since I went on that seminar trip with ladymuaythai ... I have always want to go back to Thailand ...

So I've been saving up for this ... for a long time ... I'm going to have one last fight Stateside ... and then I will be "moving" and living in Thailand for about 6 months to a year ... I made my decision and I'll be training at Nak Muay Thai (Tiger Muay Thai) in Phuket...

I am ultra excited to be making a return and getting to train some muay thai ... and I want to know what you guys think ... good idea ... bad idea ... random thought or comment ...

Oh yeah ... I will try to update you guys ... keyword "try" ... I have a feeling that I will be more bust training than being on the internet ...

I'm subscribed to the Tiger Muay Thai page on youtube. In my opinion the camp looks great, go for it.

UPDATE:
So my fight got pushed back till late November, but that isn't too bad. School for me ends in December and I was planning to go to Thailand in either January or February. Training for this fight has been awesome. baka_boy and the rest of the team have been putting me through my paces. Some of our other teammate will also be on the card, which is awesome. I guess we will all share in our victories. I honestly can't wait for this fight and this trip. This is gonna be awesome. Again try to keep you guys updated.

2nd Round KO ... more later ...

Hey, hey, hey ... whoa ... who gave yo permission to hijack my thread ...

Anyway ... the first round went pretty much my way ... lots of takedowns ... lots of ground and pound ... but I was primarily in guard the entire time ... so there were a lot of stand-ups ... though there was a scary moment in the later part of that round ... I shot in and she kinda threw this hail mary knee, which landed flush ... I was on rollerskate for a few moments ... I was super impressed by her killer instinct ... she had me hurt and she knew it ... and she swarmed me ... my saving grace was she landed the knee in the last minute of the round ... so I was pretty much saved by the bell ... even though my bell was still ringing ...

baka did a great job in between rounds ... I was foggy ... and he got me cleared up ... he then told me that she is gonna look for that knee again ... but when she throws it her hand drops on that side ... so he told to fake the shot and then throw my hook over the top ...

So round 2 ... we meet in the center of the cage and we just started throwing at each other ... she started to back off first ... I then faked my shot ... low and behold I saw it she dropped her hand ... so I threw my hook ... and I felt he jaw crumple from that strike ... my hand hurt almost the entire day afterwards ... but pretty much she fell down unconscious after that strike landed ... I didn't go for a follow up ... I didn't need to ...

So yeah that was my fight ... not medically suspended ... drug test came in clean ... so all I have to do is worry about finals and then Thailand here I come ...

Maybe enjoy some holiday training ...

Of course not ... but I was hoping we would dress up as reindeer and pull a sleigh ...
