So I just typed this up. It's a scene that has been in my head for a few days and I decided to write it out. I haven't edited it or anything so feel free to bash it all to hell. I'm not very good with fight scenes...so any help is appreciated. Enjoy!

“Cerno!” he yelled as he ran, trying to get Cerno’s attention.”Cerno!”

“Orad, are you there yet?” the radio was starting to break up, he could barely hear Lin.

“That’s far enough Orad.” He was grinning. He was holding a small box in his hand; Orad recognized it as the main button for the lift.

“Takahiro!” he yelled, gasping for air. “Let him go now!” he raised his gun and aimed for his head, his arm swaying with each breath.

“Now now Orad. That’s no way to great you long lost brother.” He raised the control. “Now, be good elder brother. Dismantle your weapon. Or Cerno goes for a little dip. Last I remember he was terrified of water. Shall we see if he still is?”

Dammit! Orad knew Cerno was still terrified of water. He hesitated, Lin yelled in his ear to take him out. He didn’t know Takahiro held Cerno’s life in his hands. “********!” he spat and dismantled his weapon tossing each piece in a different direction.

Orad. Cerno opened his eyes he blinked a few times to clear his vision. He could hear Takahiro telling Orad what a good example he was setting, and then Orad cursed at him. A thought gnawed at the back of his mind. Something was wrong. If Orad was here, why wasn’t he freeing him? Why isn’t he shooting Takahiro? Cerno searched for his partner. There! Orad stood a few stories up on the dock, Takahiro was holding something, showing it off to Orad. Cerno couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. He could feel the breeze, he could smell the sea, and why was Orad at the same level he was? He looked down and screamed.

They both turned at the same time, Orad screamed his name, Takahiro laughed.

“Looks like his awake.” Takahiro was still grinning when Orad lunged. He turned back just as his brother made contact. He flipped the safety on as they grappled, he didn’t want the fall to be an accident. He wanted to see the horror cross his face.

Orad threw a punch, hitting the ground as he rolled over. Takahiro rammed his elbow into the side of Orad’s face. He jumped up and pulled out his gun as Orad slid off, holding his face.

“Orad, when will you learn? Only I can fight dirty.” He pressed the button and memorized the look of pure dread.

Cerno screamed as he fell. He hit the water facing the sky, panic set in. He didn’t know how to swim. He refused to learn ever since the day he slipped into the lake and nearly drowned. Now he was regretting that decision. That that it would have helped he was wrapped in chain, and tied to that chain was a heavy metal ball. He struggled as the surface gat farther and farther away. He though he saw Orad swimming towards him. He blacked.

“O . . .! What’s g . . . g o . . .” Lin was breaking up, something was interfering.

He swore again and took off for the water, tearing off his head set, shirt, bullet proof vest, and shoes. Anything that could weigh him down came off on his way down the stairs. He jumped over the last railing then dove in at the end of the dock. He was no professional swimmer, but with the prize being his loves life, he swam.

The weight of the chain and whatever was attached to it dragged him down with Cerno. Luck was on Orad’s side, Takahiro didn’t clean out Cerno’s pocket. Orad wrestled with the lock pick, he knew he was running out of time. There was no click, just weightlessness. His lungs cried for oxygen, he had no idea how long it had been. Under Five? Over Five? Orad kicked as hard and as fast as he could, he knew he was at the time limit.

Lin reached the end of the dock seconds before Orad popped out then back under. He wasted no time in diving in, he was the only one with swimming lessons under his belt. He met Orad halfway and helped him drag Cerno to the ladder. Lin went up first, tugging Cerno up with him as Orad pushed. He laid Cerno on his back, Orad started CPR.

“Dammit Cerno!” Orad yelled between breathing and chest pumps. “Don’t you dare die on me.” He started crying.

Sea water hid the tears streaming down his face for a brief moment. Lin watched the helicopter carrying Takahiro fly away. He prayed and cursed in the same breath.

“Come on Cerno!” Orad was hysterical. “Breath Dammit!”

“Orad, he’s gone.” Lin whispered.

Orad pumped away, breathing air deep into Cerno’s lungs. Lin grabbed his hands.

“He’s gone Orad!” he yelled, tears fell from his eyes.

Orad pulled his hands free and punched Lin, “Don’t say that! I can’t live without him God damn it!” He breathed again, this time deeper and longer. “For ******** sake Cerno!” another breath. “Wake up!” another breath. “Breathe!”

Water came up. Orad pumped his chest and more water came up. He breathed for him again. Cerno coughed, Lin rolled him onto his side to help get the water out. Cerno gasped for air between coughs.

“Cerno!” Orad pulled him close, hugging him tightly.

“Orad. I can’t breathe.” He made no move to escape.

Orad loosened his grip, Cerno threw his arms around him. “I didn’t say let me go.” He whispered.
