Much like Alcove's Wave World, the Safari Parkway is a place for breeding and observing the natural interactions between pokemon and animals from the exotic contenent of Africa. Why Africa? It's one of the largest continents with the most versatile landscapes and animals; from forests, to savannas, to desserts, to wide planes and lush jungle. It's also the place with the most endangered animals listings and pokemon listings. Here, they can live without danger, on acres of land to feel at home as if they were wild (separated so they don't eat eachother, of coarse); that's twenty-thousand acres with forty different species of animals and eighteen different species of pokemon--venturing into the next region by nearly seven thousand acres.
In a twist, Humans are the ones contained as a tram tour is given, with a purchased ticket, around the exhibits; or through, with an upgraded pass, to interact with the more docile species. But the focus stays the same: Breed back these amazing creatures with the hopes of a successful wild release to help get them off the endangered species lists! And thus far, it has been the fifth most successful breeding center!
