The alarm caused by the sudden surge of energy that had surged through the universe, causing a huge change to occur had shook the "spirit realm"* to it's very core. Even among the higher ups they couldn't immediately fathom what exactly had happened. A week of solid study by the R&D department had revealed the cause but it had failed to reveal what had been created and what had previously been present. This lack of information wasn't revealed to the Shinigami at large, but what had caused it was. Enma having reviewed this information summoned one of his Junior guide's.

The guide in question stood about five foot five, she possessed a voluptuous form, long hair that had once been black was now blue, an unusually red eye's, the woman was called Tsuikiya, Kimiko.Kimiko was a Guide, charged with the retrieval of the common human soul, they would gently guide the soul out of it's body, usually when the body died of natural causes, such as old age and some times for more unfortunate deaths, such as those on a hospital bed. Kimiko was among a small minority of guides who had once been a living human, as a human she had been the sole princess of a very small but noble clan in early warring states era.

She had been married off at the age of fourteen and some years later, when her two children were five and six she had been murdered** by a demon. That demon had then taken her form and used it to torment her older twin brother, who had then spent the next two centuries unable to truly die until he committed honourable Hara-Kiri***, notable after he had hunted down the demon that had killed his sister and taken on her form.

Kimiko entered Enma's office she was dressed in an olive coloured buttoned up shirt and skirt, with black tight's and short ankle length boots. This was one of two optional uniforms for the guides, the other being a plain Kimono of white usually folded over to represent that she was dead. She approached the desk knelt and bowed rising after an appropriate amount of time had passed. "You wished to see me Enma- Daio?" she asked standing as he allowed her to. "Yes I did, the rupture caused by that infernal game has created a bright figure. He is named Alex Crawford, he is sixteen and was born in the United Kingdom and now he is set to arrive in Japan. I have spoken with General Yamatone Kotone and have impressed the need of your presence. You are to report to the earth and make contact with this Alex, General Kotone has a man who has orders to eliminate him should the need arise. You will make contact with this agent, you will find all the details in this file, read them and then head out immediately.

Kimiko turned at the sound of approaching feet and accepted the proffered folders, given to her by one of Enma's orge's. They were very thin and Kimiko guessed that both folders were particularly abridged. This would mean she would require a fair amount of ground work to find out more if need be.

Kimiko read the folders while still in front of Enma's desk and then returned them. She bowed to Enma and then left the office, she made her way straight to her apartment, to make arrangements. Her cat ears on top of her head twitched at the idea of going back to the earth for presumably a long time. She packed a bag and then scribbled a quick note to be sent to her children****, before leaving the building and heading to the earth, this time using her preferred transport her bike.

This immortality didn't allow him to regenerate, so Katsumoto who died a few times, still has scars from those death's including the scar caused by an old fashioned bullet. I forget the era in which he was notably killed by a bullet. Ask me more and I shall explain the immortality in full detail.
**** I'm thinking that as she know's people in an afterlive that isn't a hell, she can contact them. By both letter, phone or vid phone laptops of course. But she can't go their as she's yet to accept her full death.)
