While the Royal Library in Lumena tended to be Rhapsody's preferred source for reading material, sometimes she found that it fell a little short. In fact, there was a particular tome that seemed to be either missing or perpetually checked out in her home town and the quiet mononoke had finally gotten fed up and donned her feather form, flying the relatively short distance from Lumena to Moonfall.

Rhapsody didn't usually spend a great deal of time in Moonfall, as everything she needed could be found in Lumena and she was, by nature, content with her surroundings. But Moonfall did have it's appeal, especially as one could find absolutely anything for the right price. And Rhapsody, being one of those royals who was raised with a silver spoon, rarely considered money at all.

Being accustomed to getting the things that she wanted rather easily, the petite girl found herself standing in the stacks within the Moonfall library staring at a glaringly blank space that was exactly where the book she was looking for should have been. How could so many people be so interested in a treatise on how genetics affected magical ability? It was preposterous. Rhapsody, who was not one to get worked up, found herself with crossed arms and a perplexed, wrinkle-nosed frown on her face as she gazed at the empty spot as if her best friend should have been there.
