I don't know why, but I've always been extremely picky about the way books end (especially if they're series endings.)
Recently I read Maximum Ride and the Kane Series and I was disappointed by the endings of both. I don't know why I'm so picky. D:
Who else experiences this?

Most of the time I do enjoy the endings of books. (If it's a series ending and I don't want it to end yet, I usually get upset, but that's different.) Do you think it's the way it's worded, or just the way it end, like in a certain situation? Sometimes one sentence can ruin a whole book.

The ending was a little dissapointing I kinda expected it to be better, but there is a nother maximum ride book coming out like this year and it's called Nevermore. So there is a chance of redemtion.

Wait...they still make books that end eek Sorry, I guess i'm just caught up in all these series that never seem to end sad
I am slightly picky though. I don't like reading books that have tragic endings. For me, a little bit of sad is okay, but when I find out like everyone died and the main character (or who ever might be left) is just struggling to get by with what they have left... I feel as if I've wasted my time. xp

I really just hate it when I'm reading a book and it suddenly drops off. Then I realize I have to wait like five months until the next one in the series comes out. crying
I always seem to pick the books that turn into a series. sweatdrop

Me too. I always seem to choose books that are/were parts of a series. Then I feel as if I need to finish the book series. (I've never been the kind of person to drop a book or series. No matter how much I hate it.)

It was painfully boring. I just couldn't do it. [x

I ended up finishing it and liking it, but aargh it actually took me two and a half months just because I kept dropping it.

When it comes to endings, I'm not really picky. The only thing I hate is when books in a series end on cliffhangers, especially when the next one isn't coming out for a while.
