He's both excessively happy-go-lucky and excessively flirty. Though sometimes his motive for flirting is very different from what one would think. He seems naive and air headed to people that don't know him, which is almost everyone, though the realism behind that is that he just doesn't care.
He isn't one to take or follow orders, he just does as he wishes, it's a miracle he got to the rank he did, though that was still lower than his capability. And as much as it may seem that he's lazy, he's surprisingly energetic.

• Biography :: As a young boy in Rukongai Chi had an abnormally high reiatsu level. It wasn't noticed by normal people or himself for that matter, so it didn't really affect his life at first. After an oddly large hollow attack on his village though, he was found by the shinigami who fought off the hollows and saved the majority of the villagers. The man became instantly aware of Chi's high reiatsu level and tried to convince him to become a shinigami like himself. Eventually Chi agreed to try a little bit as a thank you. The man who saved his village and anyone that ended up training him tried their hardest to make him into a high-class shinigami. His reiatsu level was unbelievable to many, and they saw that as potential for the future.
Chi worked his way through the Academy and Soul Society with no real interest in it, but he didn't really have anything else to live for either so he didn't mind. He never reached anyone's expectations, not that they could see anyway. The highest rank he reached was 5th seat but he probably could have been a captain easily, he just didn't show it. He didn't care about his ranking or achieving anything. Due to this lack of care and motivation, he was a much lower rank than his abilities, and barely anyone knew this. Either way, the man that saved him ever so long ago (who was now quite lower in rank than Chi) didn't give up. For whatever reason he was driven to make Chi into some kind of legend. The man had been doing a lot of research over the years, and he had discovered something that would boost all of Chi's abilities. Hollowification.
Chi wasn't particularly excited about the idea at first. But after a while the man convinced him to try it using the argument that he wouldn't have any responsibility anymore, and that he wouldn't have to deal with so many serious people again. What the man actually had planned will never be known. The process was performed in a deserted part of Rukongai. The man had many of shinigami with him, what Chi guessed to be people who also wanted the same as the man who saved him. Possibly a rebellion on Soul Society with Chi as their main weapon. Who knows. Once the mask fully formed over Chi's face they certainly didn't get the result they wanted. His strength and speed and everything weren't really changed. On the other hand his already high reiatsu level rapidly increased to the point where half the shinigami around him collapsed where they stood. Then of course, Chi went berserk many of the shinigami still standing were killed but they were eventually able subdue the now rampant Chi. The only person that Chi ever felt any real friendship for was now dead, and it would seem that he was the leader of this group as whatever plan they had didn't really happen after that point. Those who remained alive fled Soul Society for the rest of their lives. Chi woke up in the human world, and decided to remain there ever since.

• Special Abilities :: Has an abnormally large reiastu level. Power-wise it's not particularly prodigy-like, it's more the sheer amount of it. If a battle was about out lasting the opponent he'd more than likely win. His mask vastly increases this reiatsu level, while increasing his speed, power etc. less than a normal vizard mask.
Also probably due to the reiatsu coursing through him, his body can take hits and a beating like nobody's business.

• Mask Appearance :: Like an antlers skull, without the horns. Additionally it has a large mass of hair made from a much thinner version of the bone-like substance that makes the mask, coming out of the back. It reaches about the centre of his back.

• Name :: Atsumeru [The Collector]
• Element :: Reiatsu
• Sealed Appearance :: A seppuku knife with a bright orange hilt and basic guard. It also has a bronze-gold kunai shaped/sized knife on the opposite end of the handle.
• Zanpakutou Position :: It differs but he usually wears it on his back. To be drawn over head with his right hand.
• Zanpakutou Spirit Appearance (Shikai & Bankai) :: A black sprite no bigger than Chi's hand with a white beard, which wears round glasses on his face and a robe about 5 times the size of it's body. He floats at all times, to the point where his robe is inches off the floor. His appearance in bankai doesn't change unless you count the smug look he get's on his face.
• Zanpakutou Spirit Personality :: Serious, with a tiny bit of a god complex. Doesn't like anyone even Chi touching his collection - not like anyone can.
• Inner World :: A seemingly endless library. Some of it seems neat and organised, other parts are messier with random boxes and books lying around.
Shikai
• Release Command :: Look what I've got.

• Abilities, Techniques :: It's main/only ability activates when it's released. After a piece of the opponents DNA is put on any part of the blade (usually blood or hair, occasionally saliva if he punches it out of them) it will glow with reiatsu and a feint honeycomb pattern will appear on the blade in the reiatsu's colour as whatever's on the blade is absorbed into it. Chi then states the release command and appears the stab himself with it. The whole blade smoothly slides into his body along with the handle and kunai end. His whole body then momentarily glows with the honeycomb pattern.
If he took a shinigami's DNA he gains a copy of their zanpakutou with the ability to release their shikai and bankai (if achieved). He'll have little to no experience using this new weapon though, unlike his opponent.
If he took an arrancar's DNA he gains a mock copy of there resurrection form. Again not knowing how to use it.
If he took anything else's DNA nothing would happen. Hence he can't gain quincy powers, any gifted human/fullbring abilities or anything off animals etc.
Bankai

• Abilities, Techniques :: It allows him to use power he's 'collected' in the past. It drains his reiatsu more than most bankai, but that's probably why he has so much. He can switch between powers with no distinct extra cost but to use powers at the same time uses and exponential amount more. If two are used at the same time he'll probably only last a few minutes (depending on how the powers work themselves of course). He practices using 3 powers at the same time, his current record is lasting 10 seconds, and that was while using the 3 least reiatsu taxing powers he had.
