See that little person that represents you?
What is their story?
Sure we are all Aekeans...
but there has to be a deep dark past that some aren't telling.
Will you tell us?

Make up a story for your current avatar. Be creative! Don't forget, we are all Aekeans. ;D

Gerik is a warrior, he may not seem like it because of something that happened during his trials of being a mercenary for a small country. Gerik was a mercenary in a time of war, back in the year 20xx. He fought in many missions and has many battle scars to prove his great deeds. Gerik didn't care who the opposition was, he only lusted and hungered for the money that would pay off in the end, he seemed a little blood thirsty at the time. During one of his missions he was the last man standing, against a large group of militia and cavalry. Gerik was great with almost every weapon, he could wield his sword like a genius and swing his axe with great heart, and could snipe with his bow from a large distance away. He single-handedly destroyed the opposing group and during that instance he no longer worked as a mercenary. With great power and skill he decided to become an assassin, he kept his identity a secret and was seen as a hero in the village he resided at. With all the money he had stockpiled he was thinking about moving to another country. He was tired of where he lived and wanted to live a life without death or any more weapons. Gerik then moved from his country to a more wealthier and civilized (not very, but much more than where he used to live) known as Gaia. The only path there was on a creepy boat ride that Gerik could not remember. All the time he spent on the boat was wiped from his memory once he arrived to his new destination. Here Gerik kept his identity a secret and decided he needed a new alias. He went by the name of 'Meatwad-Kun' and stayed at the industrious area known as Aekea. He chose Aekea out of the rest of the cities since it was more crowded and less commercialized as their Barton and Durem counterparts. It seems as though he no longer lived in the same universe or planet he once did. The people here were shorter and the animals were strange. One glance up and Gerik saw flying bacon cats, a look the the sides and all you could see were walking piles of fluff and Geisha dolls. The people dressed rather strange, as well. Some liked to pile on all the clothing they could find and look like a colorful mess, others liked to wear wings and tails as if every day was hall-o-ween. Gerik, did not understand why his fellow Gaians dressed the way they did but he adjusted and asked people if they've heard of the country he was from. Only a small fraction of people did, and they recalled the country in a device known as a video game. Gerik was confused and felt lost, but established a sense of sanity due to the majority of the people's friendliness. Leaving his past behind, he started life completely new. Maybe one day he will bring back his old skills and wreak havoc on Gaia. huhuhuhu

(I so suck at stories xD)

Oh boy. Time to explain my background. Good thing I've already planned out a book about it! xd

The Lady Anatola was born as simply Anatola Valkiea in the far off galaxy of Memoira on the capital planet of Memioras. She was born into a corrupt school called Sakavist Academy, whose goals were to specifically breed and raise children of all races to become specially trained in different fields before their personal memories were wiped at the age of 18, leaving them with only their skills to be sold to other companies, usually for criminal intent.

Anatola was raised to be a politician in order to gather the inhabitants of the planet under one rule so Sakavist could expand. She went about her lessons in speech, debate, and other social skills. She also was assigned a number of combat classes to defend herself from opposing forces, and also a dance class for formal parties. Anatola kept a quiet disposition and rarely spoke unless needed. Beneath her content and cooperative facade, she was plotting.

In her last year at the academy, she met a new student in the cafeteria. He was a blind human by the name of Skyler Dunes. He remained under close supervision by the instructors, for he displayed overwhelming mental acuity and an astounding memory. One day in the cafeteria, Skyler walked out of the routine lunch lines, stepped across a table, and walked to the far wall as if he had 20/20 vision. Anatola, intrigued by his actions, also broke out of line, and also provoked three other students to follow suit.

Anatola asked Skyler why he walked out of line, and he simply replied, "I saw something here." Somewhat annoyed that she stepped out of line, risking punishment from her instructors, for this reason, she asked, "What was worth coming here for?" He gave another simple reply, "I don't know, but why would I see it if it wasn't important?" She took a strange liking to Skyler, and the other three students that also broke the norm. This circle, Anatola Valkiea, Skyler Dunes, Detra Melfic, Jethro Veltread, and Manara Falsaer, would change the course of the academy in more ways they could imagine.

Long story short, in the course of a novel I plan to write, the five upset the order, overthrew the corrupt leaders, and took the academy for themselves. However, in the uproar, Skyler and Jethro were captured by the headmaster and stolen away in their ships. Using their own unique skills they built a city by the sea in the place of the academy, and Anatola named it Switzerconstantinlantis. Why? Because she could. This city eventually grew into an empire, The Anatolian Empire. After a few years (which only translate into a year in Memioras), Detra and Manara were successful in retrieving Skyler and Jethro. The locations they were taken to caused Jethro to age from 13 to 21 by the time they found him, and Skyler hadn't changed at all, leaving him at age 15.

The empire has many tales of its own, however at this point in time The Lady Anatola has taken a hiatus from her duties, leaving her circle of founders at the head. She has traveled to a far off galaxy and finally settled on the land of Gaia. Now in disguise, The Lady Anatola spends her days idling reading forums, fighting off the Animated, and more recently creeping her way into Aekean society. She is also trying to convince Skyler to come join her. She's hoping he has caught up with her in age by the time he travels to Gaia.

Good thing this is the short version of the story. sweatdrop

A story you say. I have always wanted to do this with my avatar. About his greed and selfish feelings ( which in no way reflect my own * cough / cough * ) I shall work on this soon.

I have no idea when it'll get done, nor do I know when I will start it. I literally have 70+ (71 counted, but a few more I haven't put in my in-progress library yet) stories I want to write, and I have currently 738 characters (most of which OC, but some are my friends' OCs) documented and ready to be written about. I'm so swamped with ideas, and every time I try to write something I come up with something else so I have to record a plotline so I don't forget it.

It's a vicious cycle. XD

Haha, this sounds frustratingly familiar.

I have so many started stories I can't count them all. I wouldn't even want to try to get into how many characters I have. Out of the dozens of stories I've attempted writing, very, very few of them actually get finished. Usually I get distracted with a new idea and move on. Sometimes I go back and knock chunks out of stories here and there, slowly inch them toward the finish line, but I'm never able to focus on just one for a long period of time!

Have you ever tried NaNoWriMo?. It's a good challenge to just push something out, no stopping. These are the only stories I ever actually finish. xD

My friend has tried it before, but she failed miserably. xd I know what I'm going to do with all my stories, it's just a matter of getting it all down. My focus is on this one story I started writing in a creative writing class. I got 4 chapters done for the assignments, and I really want to finish it. But I can't get past the 5th chapter even though I know exactly what's supposed to happen.

It's not that hard. I've done it 5 times so far, and I've finished every single year. I've developed about a hundred different tricks to get over every roadblock that comes up during November. It helps to go in with a strategy and s**t ton of determination, but it's very possible to accomplish.

Well, seeing that my avie is supposed to be male ((Don't feel like using gender swaping potion))...

User Image
((Pic cause I'll eventually change my avie and this story is for my current avie so when I change, I'll probably come up with a story for that one. ouo))

Wolfe ((Haha, getting rid of the "i" makes it look masculine emotion_awesome )) is a drifter who never called a certain place his home. He doesn't even remember where he's from. He was orphaned when he was young and he has always believed that he'd been abandoned by his family, that no one wanted him. He spent the rest of his life in that orphanage in Durem never making friends or getting along with anyone but the caretakers. The two caretakers were the only people who treated him with kindness his entire time there and he was happy with that, he wanted to stay there forever. He didn't care if no one else there liked him, because he loved the caretakers and didn't want to leave them.

When he turned 18, the caretakers sat him down in his room and told him that he needed to leave the orphanage; that he was too old and needed to start his own life outside of the orphanage, said he had a week to gather his things and leave the orphanage. This caused him great distraught, he didn't want to leave; he had hoped the caretakers would adopt him or let him stay here forever. The caretakers left the room to give him time to think about what he was going to do next in his life. But the moment they left the room, Wolfe grew angry. In a fit of rage, he threw things across the room, knocking over desks and chairs, throwing potted plants and books and papers and photos at walls. The caretakers heard the ruckus and came running in,
"Wolfe dear, what is the matter? What has gotten into you?" He glared at them with intense fury,
"Like you don't know what's wrong. How can you abandon me? I wanted to live here forever! You're nothing like I had thought you were...you're just like my parents." The caretakers didn't know he felt that way and tried to console him but Wolfe rejected their actions, "SHUT UP! SHUT THE ******** UP! I get it, no one in this world wants me, and no one cares at all. So fine! I'll leave. If that's what you want, I'll go!" with that, he grabbed the small star pin that every child got for entering the orphanage and pushed past the caretakers, the children all stared at him as he left. He slammed the door behind him, and walked away never returning to the orphanage again.

After he walked out on the orphanage, he spent some time in Durem. He met a couple of guys who took him under their wing and showed him how to break into places and steal the "right things" from people to sell for money. He picked up a smoking habit and even got arrested a few times. He got his tattoo of the black widow on his chest and stole the clothing he's wearing from the many stores around town. After getting in a fight with a vampire, earning him a nice scar over his eye, he ran from Durem going off to the next town. That's how he spent his days, going to one town, causing havoc, being chased out, and going to the next town. That's when he found Aekea. He came upon the walled city and entered as a "newcomer". Wonder how long I'll get to stay in this grungy place until I'm kicked out, he thought to himself as he lit a cigarette in his mouth.

After being in Aekea for a few days, "lying low" as he called it until he started up his usual thing of stealing and causing havoc, He found the place quite interesting. Everywhere he looked, he'd see a robot or a mechanic working on something. As he walked around town, he saw a girl working in a car shop. She stretched out her arms, oil running down the side of her face, her azure hair tied up in a yellow bandanna. She yelled out to an unseen person and grabbed a towel, wiping her face and headed out. She was walking toward him before he knew it; he shook his head, trying to compose himself, dropping his cig out of his mouth and onto the ground. He put out what was left with his shoe and started to walk when she ran over to him and picked up his cigarette butt, putting it in a nearby trash can,
"Hey make sure you toss these in the trash. If one of the bots here picked that up, they could go out of whack. Liam sure would hate to see one of his creations get messed up because someone didn't throw away their cigarette butt." She smiled back at him and that's when Wolfe noticed her magenta colored eyes. He shook his head and put his hands in his pocket,
"Sorry, didn't know this place was so well kept, what with all the grease monkeys around here." She looked at him for as moment and smiled again,
"You're new here aren't you? when did you get here?"
"About a few days ago."
"How have I not seen you before? Where you from?" Wolfe looked away, he hated that question; hated that he could never answer it because he never had a home.
"Hey, got any place to eat? I haven't eaten anything in a while, and it's hard to find anything with all these garages and city buildings."
"OH! I was just on my way to grab some lunch, come with me! Oh, But I gotta go pick up Liam, we were gonna have lunch together today." He looked at her and thought to himself, This Liam guys...she talks a lot about him....what is he her boyfriend or something?
"Whatever, so long as I get something to eat." He followed her to a shop where they picked up Liam. Wolfe didn't talk much around him, as they walked to lunch he could tell there was something between the two. Figures, I find a cute nice girl and she's taken. They found a place to eat and sat together, eating burgers and french fries.
"So...Oh that's right I didn't get your name! I'm Sam by the way, and this is of course Liam."
"Hey there." Liam said through a mouthful of french fries and waved at him. Wolfe looked away from Liam and back to Sam and put a french fry in his mouth.
"Wolfe."
"So, Sam says you're new here, where you from?" Liam swallowed back the french fries and smiled. Wolfe ignored him and looked up at Sam who was smiling at him also, awaiting his answer. God damn why does everyone care where the ******** I'm from? I'm here now and that's all that matters right?
"So, are you two together or something?" He changed the topic and bit into his burger. The two of them blushed, Sam turned away from Liam as Liam scratched at the back of his head.
"Well, uh..." Liam glanced at Sam as she sipped her soda.
"S-something like that..." Sam's face grew redder. Wolfe lowered his head and continued to eat his burger. "Hey you never answered our question!" This time, Sam changed the topic. Just ******** drop it already... He didn't answer and continued eating. Sam and Liam looked at each other confused and Sam reached out her hand to Wolfe's, "Hey, if you don't want to talk about it it’s ok. We shouldn't have asked, sorry. I guess when it comes to new comers in Aekea, we always are curious as to where they're fr-" Wolfe slammed his burger on the table, and stood up, pushing his chair back and toppling over.
"I DON'T HAVE A HOME ALRIGHT!? I'm a ******** screw up without a home or people to call friends or family. Is that what you guys wanted to hear? I've been to every ******** town and each town has thrown me out. This is the last town until I ******** live in the ******** forest." He turned and walked away and out the door of the restaurant. He wiped at his eyes before putting his hands in his pocket.
"WOLFE!! Hold up!" He turned to see Sam running toward him. He stopped and glared at her. What the hell does she want now? Want to know my ******** life? When she finally reached him, she bent over to catch her breath. "W-Wolfe, hold on a second. Look, I'm sorry. We're both sorry. We didn't know."
"Well, now you do. Now just leave me alone already. Go cuddle up with your...whatever he is to you and forget about me. I'll most likely leave in a week for something I may or may not have committed." He turned his back to her and started to walk away.
"I said hold on!" She reached out and grabbed his arm. He turned and looked at her, surprised. What is her deal? "You said that, you didn't have any family, that you didn't have any friends...That sucks a lot. But, I'll be willing to be your friend if you give me a chance. Liam will too I'm sure." Wolfe turned his head away from her, trying to ignore her.
"Why?" She looked up at him and loosened her grip on his arm. "Why would you bother to be my friend? Everyone I meet treats me like crap, you'll be no different."
"That's not true! The people here....the people here treat everyone with kindness and respect. And to guests, we treat them no different. Give us a chance, Wolfe. You say you'll probably leave this place in a week. If that's so, give us a week to show you that we care about you. Because, I do care about you and I've only just meet you, but I know you're not a bad guy." Wolfe felt his face grow warm; his eyes began to water up. He used his free arm to wipe away and tears that may have formed in his eyes and turned to look at her. No one has ever said they...cared about me...Just who is this chick? She smiled at him and he could see Liam walking over to them with a smile on his face and a bag of what was probably their food in boxes. Wolfe Looked back at Sam and held back his tears.
"I've never had anyone tell me that they cared for me in so long. I had forgotten what it felt like to hear those words directed to me." He turned and hugged Sam tightly, catching her by surprise. "Thank you."
"Um, no problem." She smiled then looked at Liam for a moment before returning Wolfe's hug. He let her go and then pulled up his hood closer around his face.
"By the way, you don't have to worry. I won't leave."

From that point on, Wolfe discovered that what Sam had said about the people of Aekea being kindhearted to everyone was actually quite true. Wolfe grew attached to the city. Ever since that day, he never committed a crime at all. He spent a lot of his time helping the other shop owners and stopping by Sam's to watch her work on cars. He even stopped by Liam's to see how he created robots, even though he still didn't like him that much simply because he had Sam. Wolfe never told Sam that he has liked her ever since that day.

The End.

Funny how I LOVE Liam and yet Wolfe doesn't care for him that much. XDD total opposites. XD

EDIT: Because I did it on my Vampire lady, I decided a good voice for Wolfe is Kyo from Fruits Basket. ouo Er, the one with the Orange hair, in case no one has seen Fruits Basket. ouo

Hodd was born to a poor family in the seedier part of Aekea. His parents tried everything to give their son a better life than they had. From advanced classes to trying to bribe his way into even the lowest of colleges, but to no avail. I would seem that their lack of wealth would keep hodd from ever gaining the necessary education. Instead they found a trade school in hopes he wouldn't walk the family path of menial labor and ditch digging.

The trade school payed off, with lessons in machining and welding he was able to get a good job in one of the better factories in Aekea, eventually moving his parents and himself into one of the less crime infested areas.

His job is physically demanding and quite often presents hazardous conditions prone to maiming fellow workers. Just ask Ole Nine Fingers, who lost his pinky in the conveyor belt. Their work is important though, after all Aekea needs someone to machine the parts for their robots and construction equipment.

Hodd got into motorcycles as a young kid, and when the opportunity to join a gang came about he jumped at the offer. He got himself a real Aekean muscle bike and tore through the streets like a bat out of hell. His gang is full of loyal buddies who just love to ride, which means Hodd calls off work on a regular basis. The allure of the open road and poker rides are just too great to keep a smog hog chained in one spot for too long.

His real name long forgotten, except maybe by his parents, Most people only know him as Hodd. So monikered after the blind Norse god of poetry. All of that schooling didn't go to total waste on Hodd as he often can be found at coffee shops along his "tours" penning poetry and reciting it at open mic nights.

One day in the factory one of the workers found a dog giving birth, of course since it was underneath Hodd's workbench he was one of the first there. Not one to be a heartless [explicative], he took the dog and her pups home since everyone called "not it." After finding homes for all but one of the pups he took the old girl to a good shelter. Needing a bit of companionship around the house he made sure the pup was well taken care of.

Make fun of his dog, I dare you wink

Dark sat in the corner, playing some video game as usual. He'd never been much for socialization. And even when the others did talk to him he didn't have much to say. He preferred the solidarity of his room and only the company of his two feline friends. Or so he told everyone, and even tried to convince himself that he liked it that way. But deep down somewhere he longed to have a close group of friends. Someone he could confide in and call on for help.
Dark looked over at the flyer for the Rejected Olympics sitting on the table next to him. He scoffed and flung it aside. He'd never participate in something like that. Too many people, too many immature fights and drama. Back to his game he went, turning away from the crowd of people.
He played the loner child part perfectly. Always declining invitations, ignoring phone calls; certain that this was the way he wanted things. However, underneath that cold exterior was a softness. No matter what inattentive scowl he wore on his face or what he said to people, he still put that necklace on. A jade necklace, in fact. It was an anonymous gift given to him years before. To this day he still didn't know who from. It just... appeared. With a single note, only a few short words long: "Been meaning to do this anyways. Hope you like it."
And he did like it. Something he could hold onto when he was down to give him hope. To feel like everything would be all right. That at least one person cared. Because underneath the clothes and the tough exterior was a girl. Too scared to come out of her shell. To say the wrong things. To make anyone angry. To show any kind of weakness at all, that she wouldn't be liked for who she was. It'd happened before, why not again? At least this way there was no pain. With no one in her life to hurt her, being let down was impossible.
People left her alone as a tom-boy loner kid and-- and it was a rough life. Long nights crying alone. Afraid and lonely. Dark looked back at the crumpled flyer for the Rejected Olympics and hesitantly picked it up and smoothed it out. Feeling for the pendant around her neck, she thought to herself, "Maybe just once.."
