Echo peeked into the cafe and took a look around. Yes, this looked like the perfect place to take a load off. She removed her had and ruffled out her hair. She had been putting in a few long days lately and needed a place to relax.
"Cup of joe!" she called, seating herself at the bar.

"One for me too, please," Blaize said, walking up behind and sitting beside Echo. She arranged her long coat to drape behind the stool and smiled at Echo. "So, you've been busy lately? You look tired."

Echo chuckled as she nodded a greeting to Blaize. "I've definitely been keeping myself running. But I'm good, though. Some caffeine should to the trick. And maybe a pedicure..." she mused.
Her coffee was set in front of her and she contemplated drinking it black or grabbing sugar and creamer. She decided to go for the extra sugar rush and pulled the little, individual packets toward her to dump into the aromatic, black coffee.
"You must be relieved that the event's finally over! You were kicking serious a** out there," she remarked.

Kema pushed open the door stepping into the cafe, she placed her black umbrella beside the door as she made her way over to the counter. Her red hair soaked from the rain outside. "One cup of joe please." She looked over at the other two aekeans who seemed to be chatting with one another and simply smiled grabbing her coffee as it was given to her. She brought it up to her mouth drinking a bit of it as if to savor each sip.

"Eheheh," Blaize laughed sheepishly. "I am glad, but I kind of miss the thrill and the camaraderie of it all. It's given me the confidence to be more daring though. Recently I've taken some time off to what direction I want to go in life now." she thanked Turtle for the coffee and grabbed some powdered creamer to put in it. "Everyone needs to take some time to refresh themselves though! I say you should go get that pedicure you want. Have a beauty day and then go out and flirt all night," she laughed.

Echo chuckled behind her coffee cup. "Sounds fabulous. I like the way you think! Pedicures and flirting, what could be better?" After taking a sip, she said, "I really hope we can camaraderie we all shared. It was nice to see so many people get into it. I didn't even expect to be so involved!" she admitted. "So what direction are you taking your life these days, then?"
She sipped her coffee blissfully, almost scorching her tongue in the process. It was sugared and sweetened to perfection. Echo either liked her coffee black, or she liked it absurdly sweet. There was no in between for her.

Blaize had not sipped her coffee yet. She liked to let it cool first.
"Oh, I'm not sure yet. Something creative, maybe. Sometimes I go down to see Ol' Pete and he gives me wise words about life. Sometimes I go watch the robotics people do their work. That might be pretty cool, building robots." She tapped on her mug for a moment and then said, "So for you it's back to the... what, exactly? I am terrible at remembering these things."

"Oh, that's all right. I'm not one to judge when it comes to remembering these things!" she confessed earnestly. She had a terrible time with names and little details. "I work in a cyborg kinetic lab, helping fit people with robotic limbs and other augmentations, that sort of thing. I work more on the medical side of it, than the mechanical, but I do some of both."

"Ooh right, Aekea is on the leading edge of these things right? To think that you guys help people all over Gaia!" Blaize tested her coffee with her lips and deemed it cool enough to drink. "That's why they say all the geniuses live here."

"You'd be hard pressed to find these kinds of shops anywhere else in Gaia," she confirmed with a nod. "And it's true, you come across some real smartypants brainiacs if you aren't careful," she added, shaking her head with a laugh. "But those folks don't let their smarts go to their heads. They keep it cool, most of the time."
After sipping her coffee, feeling the caffeine worm its way into her veins, she said, "I just can't wait for the next techno rave. Loud music, flashing lights, and robots. What more could you ask for? You ever been to one?"

The door swung open pulling in some of the smog from the latest "waste removal cycle" of the near by factory in which Hodd had been working. Aekeans, though industrious, are still concerned with the environment but there are some areas where pollution can't be helped.
"Cuppa Joe kaff kaff kaff if ya please." Hodd pulled up to the bar but far enough away from the others so that the soot smell didn't disturb anyone.
