Sebastian sighed and walked home, he had been out and about all day,and for one reason only, today was the reaping ceremony, and he was more nervous than ever. Sebastian ran a hand through his hair as he walked in, he smiled at his mother and two younger sibling, Mathew and Luke. Sebastian was worried about Mathew, he was twelve and could officially be entered into the Hunger Games, it made Sebastian very worried, and on edge. Sebastian walked to his room and got dress, he walked out and took Luke's and Mathew's hand walking along side his mother. Sebastian handed Luke off to his mother, with some difficulties he was able to pry Luke off him and get into line with Mathew. Sebastian let him sign in first and then allowed himself to be signed in. Sebastian then walked Mathew to his place and went to his, among the boys of his age group, he watched at one of the capitol puppets walked onto the stage, her name was Effie Trinket.

Theme/Current Song : [x]Translation : Feelings : Worried, tired, nervous. Location : Town's square "Damn.." Katerina mumbled as she jumped off the roof of her house seeing her dad and baby sister of 8 exit the house. She planned on having another few minutes of getting herself together, so she can prepare herself for whats coming up. The Reaping. Katerina gave a small sigh before rolling off the roof and landing in a crouch beside her father. She gave a reassuring smile before taking the lead and confidently walking to the towns square. She kissed her little sister on the head, and gave another smile to her dad as if to say 'Everything will be alright'. She signed herself in, and realized this would be her 20th time entering her name. She hunted, which gave in a good supply of food, and the father worked in the mines, which gave a decent supply of money. But it wasn't exactly much to go by. She let out a sigh as she ran her hand through her long black hair, walking to the girls in her age group. She looked up, and cringed at the sight of Effie Trinket. She looked orange, and was wearing a pink wig with some ridiculous clothing. Goodness. The clothing in the Capitol seems absolutely horrible. Why would someone wear that on purpose? She thought puffing out a cheek.

Sebastian watched a few more people entering their lines, he even noticed a girl, he hadn't seen her before, but she did catch his eye. Sebastian turned back to face Effie "Hello" she said into the microphone "Happy Hunger Games, and may the odds be, Ever, in your favor" she said to the crowd, emphasizing the Ever' a little. Sebastian couldn't help but grin at how uncomfortable she was "Ladies First" she said walking over to the girls bowl and digging around inside, she lifted a single piece of paper. Sebastian couldn't help but notice how carefully she had lifted it out of the bowl, almost like it was made of glass as well. Sebastian sighed and waited for Effie to call out the girl tributes name.

Theme/Current Song : [x]Translation : Feelings : Freaking out Location : Town's square Katerina bit her lower lip, as she watched Effie take her sweet time reading the name. She looked at the crowd and gave a wink before reading it aloud. 'Katerina Lockwood' She recited, then dropped the paper back into the bowl. 'Now who's the lucky girl?' She said clapping her gloved hands. But Katerina was to stunned to move. She felt her lungs burn out, calling. No. Screaming for air. She sighed, and let out a breath she didn't realise she was holding. "Crap. I don't suppose there's a redo?" She muttered before stepping out of the group. On the inside she was freaking out. But on the outside, she looked calm, confident, and nonchalant. She looked to the opposite side, her eyes landing on a boy. She racked her memory to see if she knew him, but she didn't know him at all. Stuffing a hand in her back jean pocket, she walked on the stage, giving Effie a nod. She searched the crowd for her dad and sister, but she saw them all they way in the back. The dad was struggling to keep her sister to stop crying and making a fuss. She didn't realize it while walking up. She gave her sister a wink before looking at Effie who seemed to be talking.

Sebastian watched Effie, hating how she could find such joy as to clap when she awaited for the Katerina girl to walk up, he noticed she had looked his way, he smiled a bit. Sebastian watched her walk up, it was the same girl who had caught his eye earlier. Sebastian sighed and looked back to Effie "Boys" she said walking over to the bowl, taking all the time in the world, as she dug for the name of a boy who probably had to enter their name for grain and oil for their families, it made him sick to his stomach to have to watch these things happen, and not being able to do anything made it much worse. Sebastian watched her walk back to the microphone and smile as she slowly opened the paper "Mathew Smythe" she said. Sebastian at first was relieved to know he was safe, but when he watched his little brother walking up to the stage he ran over, he felt the peacekeepers holding him back "I volunteer" he said casually not to frighten his little brother. Sebastian pulled Matt back behind him and told him to find their mother, when Matt nodded Sebastian walked up to the stage "And what might your name be?" she asked him moving him closer to the microphone. Sebastian saw Matt, Luke and their mother all together, and he felt a great weight lifted off his shoulders "Sebastian Smythe" he said in a calm voice "I'll be that was your younger brother" she said, more excited then before "Yup" he said, in the same calm blank voice. Sebastian turned to the girl and shook her hand "Ladies and gentlemen, District twelve's tributes" she said clapping. Sebastian was taken by some peacekeepers to a room, where he was allowed three minutes with him mother and two younger brothers.

Location : Town's square Katerina raised her eyebrow at the scene that folded in the square. He volunteered to save his brother? Can't say he's a fool. I wouldv'e done the same for my sister if she would have been called. She watched him as he calmly walked up the stairs as she did.
In the privete room with her father and sister, she spent the time hugging her little sister, and ignoring her father. He tried speaking to her, but she just gave one word answers. She just put on a show that she loves him in front of her sister, when really it's the opposite. It's a long story that she doesn't care to recite.
After the three minutes was finished, she gave her sister a kiss before her father and sister was escorted. She looked down at the object in her hand, a gold mocking jay pin. It was her mother's when she went into the games. But sadly, she died buy a wildfire. She tightened her fist around the pin, before sighing and craning her head back. "This sucks. Why can't this be a whole nighmare?" She said getting up, and walking out of the room following the peacekeeper.
She couldn't help but think of her partner, Secbastian. How he just volunteered for his brother, so calmly. She gave a soft laugh. Sebastian Smyte, it'll be a pleasure trying to figure you out..

Sebastian hugged his mother seeing tears in her eyes "Don't cry" he said hugging her a little tighter. Sebastian looked down at little six year old Luke, he was rubbing his eyes, he too was crying. Sebastian lifted him up and smiled "Hey bud, no need to cry" he said softly hitting his knuckles on Luke chin. Sebastian took Matt in his other arm, feeling Matt hug him. Sebastian smiled hugging his mother with the both of them. Sebastian set them both down, and softly kissed the top of his mother head, smiling a little at her "I'll be fine" he said feeling his mother and brothers getting ripped for his arms. Sebastian sighed and walked out with the peacekeepers, he was put on the train with his mentor, Haymitch, Effie and his fellow tribute Katerina. Sebastian sat at the table with Effie and Haymitch, not really saying anything, he heard Katerina walk in and he looked up and nodded at her, to be polite, and then he looked back down, a small guitar pick in his hands, it wasn't his, it was his fathers, and on the guitar pick was four dates, the dates of his, Luke's, Matt's and his mother's birthdays. Sebastian held the pick, watching it glide on his knuckles as he played with it, eventual he got tired and put the pick away listening, or trying to listen to Haymitch talk.

Location : some room Katerina took a seat next to Sebastian, shooting him a small smile before looking down and sighing. He sister didn't exactly understand the games much, but they both managed to convince her that she was going on a trip, and will be back soon. She didn't want to add the last part, but she had to get her sister not to make a fuss somehow. She looked up at Haymitch while he spoke, then at Sebastian again. She wondered what was his skill. Her's was a bow and arrow, though it was more of a gift than a skill. She had the best aiming, and very sharp senses also. She also had a very good habit of being an over observer, noticing small details that most people miss, and notice a very good detail of a person too. That skill helps her cover her tracks easily, and make more efficient plans while studying her target. Basically, she was very good with her mind. She could be a good candidate, but she doubted it'll let her win. She looked down at the table and brought her hand to her head, feeling it throb.

Sebastian felt some eyes on him so he lifted his head, he saw Katerina staring at him, he smiled at her and turned back to Haymitch, listening, but he saw something move out of the corner of his eye. Sebastian turned and saw Katerina hold her hands to her head, he looked at her and leaned in a little closer "Are you alright?" he asked her softly looking at Effie and Haymitch, but mostly at Effie seeing Haymitch was probably too drunk to understand anything. Sebastian looked back to Katerina and grabbed a glass of water handing it to her, still waiting for the girl to say something.

I thought that was pretty cool" she said with a thumbs up. She stuck her tongue out "I can't very well say my name, since you already know. But tell me. How come I've never seen or heard from you around school? I know most of the people, but they haven't spoken of anyone name Sebastian" She softly said.

Sebastian nodded and turned back placing the glass back on the table as he heard her say how she thought it nice how he volunteered. Sebastian heard her next question, he smiled "I haven't been here long" he said, with a small smile. Sebastian looked at Effie and the drunk and almost asleep Haymitch "I guess that means I have to get him to bed?" he said, not really asking anyone. Sebastian walked over and helped Haymitch up, he nodded at Katerina and walked towards the door "Night" he called stepping out of the room. Sebastian hauled Haymitch onto his bed and sighed tucking the sleeping drunk in, he walked back out and saw Katerina walking to her room "Is Effie still in there?" he asked her curiously as he made his way from Haymitch's room walking up to Katerina.

She's there. But she's working on some kind of schedule. She was making such a big fuss on how we should be everywhere precisely on time." She gave a soft laugh. "What an on the dot, but weirdly dress woman" She jokingly added.

Sebastian nodded and chuckled with her "Capitol people always were . " he paused thinking for a moment "Different" he said with a smile as he nodded "Thanks" he said "Goodnight" he said with another smile and nod as he walked to his room, he looked back once seeing Katerina enter her room, and he opened his door walking in. Sebastian looked at the bed and sighed closing the door behind him, he leaned on it a bit, thinking about his mother and two brothers, it worried him, not being there to keep them safe felt wrong, and eating the capitol food and sleeping in there beds as he waited to be killed, felt almost as bad. Sebastian ran a hand through his hair and he changed out of his reaping clothes and into something a little more baggy, he walked over to the bed and slid under the covers, looking out the small circular window, he could see a few stars, but the moon was probably on the other side. Sebastian turned away from the window, barely able to see much, the only light was coming from his window, and even then it wasn't much, with a sigh, he closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep.

Location : her room Katerina was looking through the drawers for some comfortable clothing. But all she could find was night gowns. She didn't care if she was going to sleep. She hated dresses, and how they made her feel. She wasn't the girly type. Which is why she would wear her fathers pants whenever she could wash them. She puffed out a cheek, and kept searching, finally finding a pair of pants. When she finished putting them on, she crawled into bed. She had a billion questions and comments running around in her head. Which wasn't letting her go to sleep.

Sebastian woke up the next morning, rubbing his eyes, he had no clue when he had fallen asleep, but the stinging pain in his eyes told him it had been late. Sebastian heard his door open, and Effie popped her head in "Today's the big, big day!" she said excitedly, as she stepped out and left. Sebastian, who would rather sleep till the Hunger Games, sighed and got off the bed, he looked through the clothes with a sigh, the shirts were either too fancy or too tight. Sebastian kept on his pants and switched the shirt of a semi tight shirt. Sebastian stepped out of his room, he saw Effie at Katerina's room, he walked off to the dinning room, where Haymitch was no where to be found 'Still too drunk?' he thought to himself, he shook his head and sat on one of the couches.
