Appearance: Zane is a rather stout fellow, with bandy legs, and thick muscles, though a bit of a below average stature, that he makes up for with a attention commanding, nearly regale posture. He is very pale, without any distinguishing marks, he lacks the freckled complexion of his parents and when any facial hair does grow in (though it doesn't often) it is of a very light, and unnoticeable shade and texture, these factors combined with his soft, rounded features give him a boyish look that he quite dislikes, because he has never enjoyed being treated like a child (even when he was one). He combs his light brown, almost strawberry blond hair in a boyish, yet neat manner, and attempts to cover his slightly large ears, as he does with anything about himself that he considers a disadvantage. He considers his best feature his eyes, a medium blue that reflects his Scandinavian heritage, topped with thick, serious and expressive brows, that always have a very serious look in them.
When not in his uniforms, which is not very often, he tends to dress in very dull clothing, preferring things that don't say too much about him, since he likes his personality to come through his opinions and speech rather than the type of trousers he chooses. Most of the time he will wear a classic, slim leg trouser in a charcoal gray or black color, paired with a relaxed button up, the sleeves rolled half way up the forearm, with a vest or perhaps a sweater is weather permits. Though quite young, Zane attempts to keep his exterior professional and classy in order to reflect his inner intentions and goals.
Speaking Style: Zane's style of speaking is incredibly serious and well measured, his words seem to be chosen carefully and each weighed before they are spoken, he pronounces each syllable clearly and uses formal language most of the time. He has a rather obvious British accent tinged with a bit of Danish from his father, though he attempts to hide this.
Demeanor: To most people, Zane is a composed, mature, intelligent, though rather power-hungry young man, well on his way to a successful life as a high class wizard, though these things are all true, that isn't all there is to Zane. Despite the fact that the majority of his personality is dominated by a lust for power, which often makes him seem close minded, selfish, and somewhat arrogant, he is also rather clever, understanding (though almost never compassionate), and has the potential to make friends quite easily. The softer side of his personality is seldom seen, because he believes it to be a weakness and an obstacle on the path to his true goals, so most view him as a snobby upperclassman, who puts his own wants and needs before all else.
Best Qualities: Zane would pick his best qualities as his drive, ability to stay focused on a goal, maturity, intelligence, and fierce competitiveness, though these same qualities often get him into trouble and cause people to believe he is a sad, selfish little boy, he believes they will be the keys to his future success and considers them very important things to have.
Worst Qualities/Flaws: He can be incredibly selfish, only caring about himself and what he needs in order to get what he wants, he is also very arrogant and thinks he is much better than most of those around him, regardless of any truth to this, lastly he is often guilty of having a very one track mind, and when he sets his mind on a goal, no matter how impossible, he refuses to bother with anything else until he gets it, no matter what the cost or who he has to step on.
