So, posting in the forums is still kind of hard for me, as I am a bit socially awkward, but I really want to say what's been on my mind. (I did post this on the RO forum but it kinda got bumped off.)

I'm normally very much a loner when it comes to gaming. Needless to say, I was quite agitated when the RO multi-player games were introduced. Quickly though, I found myself lurking the Durem forum and saw the amazing teamwork and encouragement going on.
It was contagious and for the first time in many years, I really had a sense of being in this community. I slowly crept out of my shell and before I knew it, I was dressed in my team's colors and cheering on others.

Just before the event ended, I got my first 20 on Bacon Bowl thanks to coordinated teamwork and encouragement. I may have not earned many points total, but I sure as heck gave it my all.

I've always been a forum lurker, but you brought out the best in me. Thank you, Durem for helping me overcome my shyness.

A lot of people have been "breaking out of their shell" during the Olympics,
and while I think you're all perfect the way you are ( emotion_kirakira ), I'm glad you'll be comfortable in the guild.
