What kinds of things do you know how to make?
I've been wanting to learn some techniques and such. I have loads of string but don't really know how to make anything. ;p

Raspberry Flavored Milk Or sometimes thrift stores. I got a lot of my starter yarn there and some knitting needles. I'm pretty sure some will have crochet hooks too. I think I saw some at my local thrift stores but I've gotten mine from family.

With the internet I've usually learned via videos on youtube and crafty sites. I think learning from another person in a slightly different way where I can ask questions could be interesting though. 3nodding

I saw a basket of yarn once at a thrift store and I couldn't believe how expensive they were selling it for. ;o I would have thought they were store prices for being around $7 a little ball. >_> So I didn't get any from there, but i've been lucky enough to find other ones cheaper or for free else where.
My boyfriends mom has a sunflower table cloth she used for a birthday party. Afterwards she didn't want it anymore so I took it and turned it into our bedroom curtain. ;D And it looks awesome! I was so proud of myself for making it, course it took up most of the bedroom floor to loosely stitch at first, then I took the sewing machine to it and I was amazed. Makes me want to find other fabrics and replace these shabby yellowy curtains. They kinda remind me of the 70s or something like that. ;p

I've been wanting to make fingerless gloves for a while now, specially since it'll be getting cold again in a few months. A hat would be cool too. ;D Have you made either of those before?
