The young man sits quietly on the sofa, as he is expected to, as the gentlemen were talking, one of the which is his grandfather and the other was the lawyer. He looks at the all too familiar decor. Various blues, whites and silver decorate the browns, since almost everything was made from high quality wood. ' They're talking about me again,' the man thought 'My future' And he was right. He eavesdrops hearing bits and pieces of the conversation. ' I'm tired of my grandson foolishness...the parties and the women. He won't inherit anything until he finds a bride and settles down. If he straighten himself and has changed, then he may inherit my estate. Once he is married, of course...'

This brought a shock to the young man. To be married? This was a serious matter. He has to find a woman to be his wife and quick, but he has to be wise and very careful in selecting one. He smiled to himself, shape fangs peeking from his lips, All he had to due was to find a woman to be his wife, and then once he inherit his grandfather estate. He be happy to pay her well, and later file for a divorce. This would be very easy, or so the young man thought.

In this era, there are many rich families and low class. Some people lay and wait, until one of their relatives is dead to inherit the family business, money, or the estate. People will do anything to get it, but in the end there's always a catch, and that was marriage. For such scandals, they would simple find someone suitable from someone from a noble wealthy family, or pay someone for just pending to be a married couple.

Many think that it will be a plain easy task, but one thing they didn't plan on was falling in love.

▹ One, there is no God Modding, Sparming, Raping, Cybering, and most important of all do not copy my story or idea's! Ok, now that we gotten that out of the way let's get to the other important things that you need to know.

▹Two, Don't kill off anyone's character when there offline or without their permission. If you do I will ban you for good.

▹Three, Romance is allowed, but remember that falling in love takes time. So, don't rush it. People hate it very much when you try to rush things in trying to make there characters fall in love automatic.

▹Four, There is no sex. A less you want to lose your account for good. As for the rating for this roleplay, this is only PG-16, and that is high as it goes.

▹Five, Do be Be Semi-Literate or Literate. Dunning the roleplay use "This" for talking, ( ) talking out of rp, and This for thoughts. But no using ^^, -, * or any other symbols please.

As for sentence per post please type at least four or five sentences per post. I know that everyone sometimes get's writer block but try to do your best. Also, spelling and grammar is important. So, do try to remember. I do know that sometimes people seem to forget or don't remember much of grammar, which can happen to anyone that hasn't done it for a very long time.

▹Six, The people who use the anime pictures, images from anime series episode, or wallpaper. Those are ok to use in role playing, but you may use your artwork that you already drew of your character, or if you're not good at drawing and don't want to use other pictures.

Just say of what your character looks like in the profile. The most important part that all of you need to know is that you do not use pictures from Deviantart. Since, many artist have copy right of their artwork. If you ever do use a pictures from Deviantart, and someone might know the artist work then it might lead you into trouble.

There are some people on Gaia who are members of Deviantart. The artist will do a drawing of your character, but will have to pay the artist which is only fair. So, whatever you want your character to look like, you have to give the artist the details.

Also, not to forget. Do title your profile 'Marriage' and send it to me. You may create other characters, but the limit is four max. For picture size, it has to be at least 345x414 size.

The year is 1872 and the era is Victorian. There are some high ranking families such as high class, middle class, and low class. The high ranking classes are Dukes, Counts, Marquis, Baron, and Viscount. Dukes/duchess are address 'your grace'. For the other ranks you must address them lord/lady.

The qualities of a Lady

A lady should be quiet in her manners, natural and unassuming in her language, careful to wound no one’s feelings, but giving generously and freely from the treasures of her pure mind to her friends. Scorning no one openly, she should feel gentle pity for the unfortunate, the inferior and the ignorant, at the same time carrying herself with an innocence and single heartedness which disarms ill nature, and wins respect and love from all.

The true lady walks the street, wrapped in a mantle of proper reserve, so impenetrable that insult and coarse familiarity shrink from her, while she, at all times, carries with her a congenial atmosphere which attracts all, and puts all at their ease.

A lady walks quietly through the streets, seeing and hearing nothing that she ought not to, recognizing acquaintances with a courteous bow, and friends with words of greeting. She is always unobtrusive, never talks loudly, or laughs boisterously, or does anything to attract the attention of the passers-by. She walks along in her own quiet, lady-like way, and by her preoccupation is secure from any annoyance. A true lady in the street, as in the parlor is modest, discreet, kind and obliging.

It is proper that the lady should first recognize the gentleman. A gentleman will never fail to bow in return to a lady; but a lady may not feel at liberty to return a gentleman’s bow, which places him in a rather unpleasant position. Therefore, a lady should give the first smile or bow.

The Qualities of a Gentleman

He acts kindly from the impulse of his kind heart. He is brave, because, with a conscience void of offense, he has nothing to fear.He is never embarrassed, for he respects himself and is profoundly conscious of right intentions.

He keeps his honor unstained, and to retain the good opinion of others he neglects no civility. He respects even the prejudices of men whom he believes are honest. He opposes without bitterness and yields without admitting defeat.He is never arrogant, never weak.

He bears himself with dignity, but never haughtily. Too wise to despise trifles, he is too noble to be mastered by them. To superiors he is respectful without servility; to equals courteous; to inferiors’ kind. He carries himself with grace in all places, is easy but never familiar, genteel without affection. He unites gentleness of manner with firmness of mind. He commands with mild authority, and asks favors with grace and assurance.

A real gentility never swears or talks uproariously. He should never fail to raise his hat politely to an acquaintance of either sex. If he should bump into someone or step upon a lady’s dress he must beg their pardon, and at no time should he lose his temper nor attract attention by excited conversation.

It is proper to offer a lady his arm, particularly in the evening and it should always be the right arm. People passing should observe the law of "turn to the right" and in this way the lady would not be jostled. It is always proper for a gentleman walking alone to give the lady or a gentleman with a lady, the inside of the walk.
