Personality: Oki is, when out of combat, a disciplined swordsman, calm and level headed. Even when in a battle he will, for a time being, plan out everything he can ahead of time. However, when wounded or having inflicted a wound upon the foe, Oki changes, tapping into raw and wild strength, usually viciously attacking his target until they submit. To put it bluntly, he is of good temperament and good company until one draws blood. However, if one were to list his biggest weakness, it is probably his confidence. It is, to a point, flawed. He is so sure of his own skill that he sees losing as more of a pipe dream rather than an actual concept. Loss is not a thing to be feared though, not to Oki, simply a time when you aren't strong enough.

Bio: Oki was born in the northernmost part of the country of Japan on a small and snowy isle. This isle was surrounded by ice and glaciers, making it very hard for those unused to the land to canoe or otherwise fish in the icy wasteland. There, he was raised deep in the heart of a small ring of mountains by a small tribe. They fought daily in the snow, living by any means necessary. They worshiped the wolves of the island, even modeling their hierarchy. The strongest or most skilled were at the top, the weaker towards the bottom. When time came to test Oki, he was very quiet, studying his foe and childhood friend. She was only a month younger, but deemed a good partner for him to test against. They were roughly stalemated, unable to land a correct blow to the other. It was Oki's friend that managed to do it first. She landed a solid blow to his kidney, causing him to cough up blood. That set the mood and Oki went berserk, smashing into his friend with raw and untamed power. That power injured his friend terribly, rendering her unable to walk correctly for the rest of her days. When the news was delivered sadly to Oki's young ears, he took his clothes and banished himself south, away from his home and shame.
It was south and a year later, to the island of Kyushu that Oki found a new home, though here he was thrown quickly under the arm of a brave and risky general by the name of Shimazu. The general, in battle, was wild and destructive, using great strength to simply bat foes away and break their armor with his favorite kanabo. Oki was fascinated, because out of battle, this man was calm and collected. It was as if Oki had grown old and sacrificed his youthful speed and donned thick armor for crushing might. Enamored, Oki approached the warlord with two requests. The first was for the Warlord to teach him, or find a Shimazu that could teach Oki to wield his speed and might. The second was permission to join their clan as a Shimazu. Oki's second request was granted, and the clan members were alerted to his joining. His name was now Hiei Shimazu. Despite this, his new found family still called him Oki to honor his old family. Then, he was taught. Oki was instructed deeply in the discipline of the sword and in the art of wild hand to hand combat, favoring clawed thrusts to other traditional forms. Unlike other swordsmen though, Oki utilized a wider blade, more similar to a Dao from China. Now equipped with power and speed, and the knowledge to wield it, Oki was a young force with which the Shimazu terrorized their foes for several years. But the fun of this life would prove to be short lived.
After a battle and climbing their way north, much of which was done with what Oki knew and could give them his best guess at, Oki was struck with a mixture of pain and longing. So close to his home, he wanted to go see it again, but he knew he could not. This was partly because of the guilt he would feel if his old friend was still alive and partly because it would mean leaving the Shimazu. After days of deliberation, the old Shimazu who had always helped young Oki told him that Oki would receive a period of leave in respect for his service and the old ties that lived in the cold northern lands. Filled with gratitude, the young warrior accepted the leave, visiting his homelands in a hurry. What he found was the same old village who had heard of the war and expected to remain untouched. His old friend could walk again, and even fight, though she could not run very well. Oki was still guilty. Despite that one happy reunion, there was very little happiness of Oki's return, especially when he told his story of the years gone by. They worried that he would betray them and bring the war to the walls of the village. In truth, Oki had little care for that or them and so did the Shimazu, at least, as far as he was told. For several days he stayed home, helping where he was allowed by the old villagers, those who trusted him and then a month later, he returned and found his army, his guilt appeased and his longing gone. But the years would not be kind and Oki would die shortly later to a hemorrhage. It was thankful to his soul that it would be quietly and in peace during the night, simply because he wished not for his allies to watch him fall.
Although lacking kido potential, Oki's wild fighting to Shino Academy brought him there, rather than the scouts. Like Kenpachi before him, he had brutally destroyed all that stood in his way until he made it to where the fighting began. His first appearance in the academy was actually a surprise attack on one of the students. Even unarmed, Oki overwhelmingly smashed his foe into the wall, beating him somewhat senseless and actually costing the boy his career as a Shinigami. Although imprisonment was the first judgement to pass, it was quickly reversed, allowing him to become a student. Once again, the wild tenacity that drove Oki to the Academy drove him through it. This wild, raw strength would continue driving him for the entirety of his life to where he stood now in the ranks of the Shinigami.

Physical Changes: Oki's body changes, becoming more solid an muscular, the whole physical change actually so forceful the resulting momentum of the muscle shift actually blows off his top. Both of his arms turn an odd red color as his zanpakuto fuses with his body, also causing his nails to grow and turn to claws.
Battlefield Changes: There are no battlefield changes brought on by the release of Hachi Gia
Additional Changes: Oki seems to become consumed by fighting, instantly turning no holds barred.
Power Boosts: Oki's physical strength and speed increase while his defense increases around his core, namely the abdomen.

Yasei no Ikioi: As Oki fights, he gains momentum and continuously deals additional damage to his foe as he wears them down, gaining an additional momentum counter every time he lands a blow or series of blows. Every five of these momentum counters, Oki performs an "execution blow", dealing three times the normal amount of damage the blow should do. Additionally, with every counter, his speed increases by 0.4 times. After attacking with all five momentum counters, his speed will go back to normal.

Hyo no Kamisori Oki charges his arm with a cold and spiraling wind, dashing forward at a high speed, aiming to slash the foe with the clawed hand. This move has a hidden range inside it, his arm leaving behind a trail of slicing, cold wind that can strike foes near the arm as it passes by them.
Kosoku-te This move can only be used once per cycle of twelve on Valoren's Shikai. This move forces the hands on the timer to move forward one extra time in a single post. However, in doing so he cannot use any other abilities in the same post and he cannot use this move more than once per cycle of twelve. [1 post use, cool down varies]
Yowaru Valoren rushes forward and strikes at the foe viciously, aiming a strike for the midriff. If the move connects, then Valoren phases through his foe and slows them dramatically for a single post. However, with the exception of a stinging pain, the foe is relatively unscathed. Additionally, if this is the first time Yowaru strikes during a cycle of twelve, it moves the hands forward one hour. [3 post cool down]
Dasuto no nenrei Valoren grabs an object such as a building or a large rock or a kido and turns it directly into reiryoku if it isn't already, mixing his own into the new ball of reishi to strengthen it and hurls it at the foe. The resulting explosion is roughly 10 meters across and he can convert up to 20 meters of the object he's hand is on into pure reiryoku. This move cannot affect zanpakuto, people, animals, kido above number 64 or clothing, basically limiting it to weaker kido and buildings or raw material. [5 post cool down]
Jikan o Watasu Valoren creates a sphere of reiryoku and dashes forward towards the foe, aiming to land a blow on the opponent's midriff or other body part in that area. However, if one were to block, they would notice the blow is very weak. Then, after Valoren lands his blow, misses, or is blocked, the sphere fires off like a Cero Bala and homes slightly towards the foe, taking moderately wide turns. The orb contains a moderate amount of power and a lot of speed simply because it is the real attack and Valoren is only meant to be a distraction. Odzume Valoren can only utilize this move when his clock hits twelve. He forms twelve bars around him or the foe if they are within twelve meters of him. These bars are evenly spaced and mark the location of a number on a clock. Bankai Special Ability:
Eien no Tokei Valoren's Bankai also counts down like his Shikai, moving one hour forward per post. Once more the blades also do not seem to be stuck facing one direction, able to change it to accommodate the blade circling the tsuba. However, unlike before, his attacks grow in strength much quicker now, each hour passed on the clock increasing his strength by 0.5 times the normal power for every hour passed, making his attack at the twelve marking six times as strong as normal. Like his Shikai, the damage dealt is increased as time passes and resets when the hands pass twelve. This does not count when he enters Bankai.
Bankai Abilities:
Nani ni Mawasu Valoren emits a massive gust of wind that dissipates all kido and kido based attacks weaker than a rank 88 kido. This field lasts for three posts and any kido or kido based attack passing into it will fade away almost as soon as it enters. This field forms in a sphere, using Valoren's location as the center. Its size is variant and based upon the number his clock's hands are pointing to. (Ex. if the hand is at one, it is one meter, if it is at six it is six meters, all the way up to twelve). This move is a double edged sword since it does in fact force Valoren to fight with only his blade or techniques that don't require creating reiryoku based projectiles. This move does have other weak points. Kido or kido based attacks that are contained in an area, such as a zanpakuto, are unaffected unless sent out into the field of affected area. Rohi Shita Jikan Valoren brings forth a giant clock face to double as a powerful shield. This shield is strong enough to be compared to Bakudo #82, Danku, although it is more vulnerable to kido attacks than his other moves. If this move remains unbroken, his countdown will accelerate forward two hours. If the clock does in fact break, it does not accelerate at all. While the shield may be used multiple times, the acceleration part of the technique may not be utilized more than once per cycle of twelve.[1 post last, 3 post cool down]
Eien no Chikara Valoren disperses a bit of his reiryoku into the air around him and charges it to the point of extreme volatility. The area, only three meters in radius, acts as a buffer zone to weaken moves and other objects entering it with strong forces of small particles like sand during a bad sand storm or rain during a monsoon, causing a stinging sensation and able to utterly dissipate some attacks below the strength of a rank 25 kido. Additionally, the next ability used by Valoren is buffed, adding on extra damage, whether he's in the area of effect or not. It lasts for a short while before finally fading away. Saigo Valoren inhales deeply and then exhales the breath, releasing a wave that not only causes a multitude of lacerations across an opponent's body as well as other structures. This breath also dispels kido and kido based abilities of a rank lower than 74. This move does take some preparation and requires Valoren to stay still while charging the attack, but the following gust has a range and damage output well worth it. Even though this move requires Valoren to stay still to use it, he may move and cancel the technique, still putting it on its cool down but possibly saving his life in the process. Jikan no Owari This move can only be utilized when Valoren's clock has made a full cycle and reaches twelve again. Upon activating this move, Valoren points a finger to the sky and gathers up a large amount of reiryoku, turning the sky dark as he draws forth the power needed to utilize this technique. During the charge time, Valoren cannot move. The following post, Valoren condenses the energy into the size of a marble and points at the foe, firing the blast off at an incredible speed. Once the sphere gets close, it unleashes, rapidly expanding like a black hole and decimating everything in its path. A good idea of the scope of the true power of this move is that it can demolish a building and reduce it to dust, heat the dust into glass, and then shatter the glass all in the time this technique is being used. Once more the blades also do not seem to be stuck facing one direction, able to change it to accommodate the blade circling the tsuba. However, unlike before, his attacks grow in strength much quicker now, each hour passed on the clock increasing his strength by 0.5 times the normal power for every hour passed, making his attack at the twelve marking six times as strong as normal. Bankai Abilities:
Nani ni Mawasu Valoren emits a massive gust of wind that dissipates all kido and kido based attacks weaker than a rank 88 kido. This field lasts for three posts and any kido or kido based attack passing into it will fade away almost as soon as it enters. This field forms in a sphere, using Valoren's location as the center. Its size is variant and based upon the number his clock's hands are pointing to. (Ex. if the hand is at one, it is one meter, if it is at six it is six meters, all the way up to twelve). This move is a double edged sword since it does in fact force Valoren to fight with only his blade or techniques that don't require creating reiryoku based projectiles. This move does have other weak points. Kido or kido based attacks that are contained in an area, such as a zanpakuto, are unaffected unless sent out into the field of affected area. Rohi Shita Jikan Valoren brings forth a giant clock face to double as a powerful shield. This shield is strong enough to be compared to Bakudo #82, Danku, although it is more vulnerable to kido attacks than his other moves. If this move remains unbroken, his countdown will accelerate forward two hours. If the clock does in fact break, it does not accelerate at all. While the shield may be used multiple times, the acceleration part of the technique may not be utilized more than once per cycle of twelve.[1 post last, 3 post cool down]
Eien no Chikara Valoren disperses a bit of his reiryoku into the air around him and charges it to the point of extreme volatility. The area, only three meters in radius, acts as a buffer zone to weaken moves and other objects entering it with strong forces of small particles like sand during a bad sand storm or rain during a monsoon, causing a stinging sensation and able to utterly dissipate some attacks below the strength of a rank 25 kido. Additionally, the next ability used by Valoren is buffed, adding on extra damage, whether he's in the area of effect or not. It lasts for a short while before finally fading away. Saigo Valoren inhales deeply and then exhales the breath, releasing a wave that not only causes a multitude of lacerations across an opponent's body as well as other structures. This breath also dispels kido and kido based abilities of a rank lower than 74. This move does take some preparation and requires Valoren to stay still while charging the attack, but the following gust has a range and damage output well worth it. Even though this move requires Valoren to stay still to use it, he may move and cancel the technique, still putting it on its cool down but possibly saving his life in the process. Jikan no Owari This move can only be utilized when Valoren's clock has made a full cycle and reaches twelve again. Upon activating this move, Valoren points a finger to the sky and gathers up a large amount of reiryoku, turning the sky dark as he draws forth the power needed to utilize this technique. During the charge time, Valoren cannot move. The following post, Valoren condenses the energy into the size of a marble and points at the foe, firing the blast off at an incredible speed. Once the sphere gets close, it unleashes, rapidly expanding like a black hole and decimating everything in its path. A good idea of the scope of the true power of this move is that it can demolish a building and reduce it to dust, heat the dust into glass, and then shatter the glass all in the time this technique is being used. When used, this is a truly formidable technique, however, the stress is so great that it can only be used once per two cycles. [1 post charge, 1 post use, 24 post cool down]
