Anyone care to share some tips? Btw, whats the difference between Latin and Spanish? =x Hello, I took a class Latin for three years, and Spanish is my natal language so I can help you a bit with both. The difference is that Latin is the language spoken in Ancient Roma. Italian, French, Portugues and Spanish itself came from Latin. There are some semantic diferences, and the vocabulary is not the same, is not an easy language, but it helps you a lot to understand the composition of words.

All is according to point of view but try to see videos for you can listen both languages. Latin came first. They're different but the Spanish is derived from Latin. The pronunciation is the same except for some letters like "v" that is pronunced 'c' or 'k', what changes is the vocabulary. :3
