Kaillen was bored. The musician had no inspiration at the moment. The peachy-haired boy had his long hair tied at the nape of his neck in a loose ponytail. He was just reclining against a log staring at the ocean. It was pretty. Kaillen wished that he knew how to surf. He loved the ocean, but every time he tried to learn to surf he failed miserably and just gave up. He didn't have the patience to keep trying. With a sigh, he reached for a strand of his hair and began to twirl it around his finger idly, staring out into the blue water.

Life's too short not to spend it happily. "Heh, so this is where the local beach was hiding," Alejandro said aloud while making his way to the shore. It had only been a day since he had arrived at the prestigious Academy, and already he had found the perfect beach to hang out at. He lifted his head to the sky, closed his eyes, and took a deep breath. After a couple of seconds he looked forward again and continued to his destination with determination. Maybe I'll go tread the water later, he contemplated while taking in his surroundings: the beautiful ocean, many hollering seagulls, an old log, and a guy resting on the log, viewing the ocean in a daze. There's only one person here besides myself? I half expected there to be a couple making out or something.....or maybe that was just back at the beach near the orphanage. He stopped just before the shoreline and gazed at it for a little while, thinking about what kind of sealife it inhabited, then looked back up to the stare at the full view of the vast ocean. How breathtaking...he half-turned to stare back at the person resting on the log. Maybe I'll go start a chat with him, I've got nothing else better to do. And with that in mind, he made his way to the lonely citizen.So what's your excuse?

Kaillen glanced away from the ocean when he heard the sound of approaching feet. He turned his half-lidded gaze to the boy. Silver hair, tanned skin and pretty green eyes. Kaillen subconsciously licked his lips. He didn't really have a type, but the boy was hot. "Hello." he greeted. "You are?" the boy asked, his expression rather blank.

Life's too short not to spend it happily.Alejandro noticed the guy had turned his gaze to look at him an picked up his pace. "Hi, I'm Alejandro--but you can just call me Al for short--and who might you be?" He replied once he had gotten a little closer. He did a quick once-over on the guy and mentally approved of him--he had always liked guys with long hair, except for on himself, that is. He just couldn't deal with the constant attention it needed and it really dragged him down in swimming, so he gave up on the idea a long time ago. Though that didn't mean that he couldn't like it.So what's your excuse?

Kaillen's expression brightened. "It's pleasure to meet you, Al. My name's Kaillen." he smiled softly. The boy gestured to the log he was sitting on. "Would you like to join me?" He brushed the piece of hair he had been twirling out of his eyes and fixed it behind his ear. He then looked Al over again and smiled. "So, why are you at the beach?" he inquired, curiously.

Life's too short not to spend it happily.Alejandro waltzed over to claim his seat next to Kaillen on the log, excited to meet another new person. He just never really got around much, growing up in an orphanage and all. "Would I....?!" he laughed lightly and beamed at Kaillen, tilting his head to his left before he stated his answer. "Well, since I came to this academy yesterday, I've been craving for some fun at the beach because I just love to swim in open water, it's a major hobby of mine." He blinked and nudged Kaillen, "so what's your reason, eh?"So what's your excuse?

Kaillen blinked at Alejandro and smiled brighter. Al seemed nice. Much better than the boys his brother had tried to set him up with. His mouth tugged down into a frown for a second at the thought. He chuckled slightly when Al nudged him. "It's peaceful here. I thought it might give me some inspiration." the boy admitted. He smiled over at Al. "Do you go to the Academy near here?" he asked.

Kaillen sent a closed eye smile Al's way. "Isn't that a coincidence..~" he laughed softly. "I go there as well. Kaile should be arriving today sometime." he added a bit more thoughtfully, glancing off towards the sea. "He should've been here yesterday, but he's an idiot." the peachy-haired boy murmured to himself.

Life's too short not to spend it happily.Alejandro cocked an delicate eyebrow, "Kaile...? Is he a friend of yours?" He blinked and leaned forward so that his elbows rested on his knees. I wonder who this Kaile is, I sure hope he's not a boyfriend or something, that would kind of suck on my part, his eyes gave a sort-of-angry flash as he looked out to the vast ocean again, but it was gone just as soon as it had came.So what's your excuse?

Kaillen chuckled softly. "Well, kinda. Kaile's actually my brother." he twirled a strand of his own hair around his finger. "He's my twin. Older by only a minute." he added. The boy glanced over to Alejandro, smiling. He hadn't noticed the flash of anger. Kaillen hardly noticed anything. Love and things like that were a bit unfamiliar to him. He understood jealousy though. He had been jealous that his older brother had practically abandoned him to sleep around. He growled quietly at the thought. "Kaile's stupid." he said.

Life's too short not to spend it happily.Alejandro sighed in relief and turned to look at Kaillen again. "Oh, so he's related to you, and you're twins? That's cool, I've always wanted a sibling, a twin would be especially awesome..." he trailed off, his thoughts returning to that of the orphanage and the other lonely children there. He blinked when Kaillen referred to his brother as 'stupid'. "You don't seem to be too fond of your brother it seems. Why is that, did he upset you or something? Though you don't have to tell me or anything if you don't want to, it is your business, after all..." he waved his hand as if to shoo away the question and looked back to the vast ocean solemnly. I wonder what path my life would've turned to had I had a brother to share it with.....or a sister.So what's your excuse?

Kaillen blinked when Alejadro let out a sigh of relief. Why was he relieved? "I guess. He looks nothing like me, though." he chuckled softly. The boy glanced out at the ocean with a sigh. He didn't mind sharing with Al."Kaile doesn't really spend that much time with me anymore.... He's too busy sleeping around. That's why I think he's stupid. He's so flirty it's nauseating at times." He turned back to Al and blinked a few times when he caught the boy staring out into the ocean. "So, do you surf?" he asked, changing the subject.
