"Shhh... Calm down boy. It's okay" She reassured the white horse, softly petting its muzzle. The horse snorted as if to go 'Yeah right' as it stepped back trying to turn. But Dianna had a good hold on the horses reins, to make sure it wouldn't go running off again. Let's say it's not an easy task running after a fully scared horse running at full speed. She huffed at the memory, scratching the back of her neck and cracking it. "Never again" she mumbled.

Dianna watched as the snake made it's way into a hole which she assumed was it's housing. Either that, or it was just taking refuge there to stay away from the horse. Who knows? Maybe snakes were much more afraid of horses, than horses are of them. She smiled a self satisfied smile for keeping the horse half calm, as she lifted her foot to one of the foot rest on the saddle. She easily lifted herself up, and swung her leg over the horse to the other side.

When she felt that she was good, she gave a small kick the the horses side for him to trot down the fields into the town. She had to pick up some groceries for her aunt, so she had to be quick about it so she can finish the rest of her afternoon chores and relax.

Ulrich was driving in his 2008 ford mustang. It was green and it was his favorite car. He was a famous soccer player and had a few cars. He was actually just coming from a game and was looking for some relaxation at his house in the mountains. That was how he had found his way to this abandon old highway.

Ulrich was on the phone when he lost service. "Damn phone not having service." He sighed before his car started making weird noises. He pulled over and tried to restart his car. He got out and kicked his car. He started walking towards the direction of the town. He had his bag with him so that nothing would be left in his car. "Hopefully they have a garage at the town. I really need to at least tow my car." He sighed and continued to walk towards the town. He just wanted to get out of this town as soon as possible.

When Dianna saw the shop where she was supposed to go, she pulled on the reins, making the horse come to a stop. She lifted her leg up, then swung it off. She grabbed onto the reins of the horse, and walked to the roadside shop. "Pick up for Betsy?" she said with a smile on her face. The man looked at her, looking her over, then smiled with wide open arms. "Ahh, Dianna. How great it is to see your pretty face again. I hope your mama is better" She nodded. "Yeah, She's been a lot better."

"Excellent. You know, my son Chase as taken a liking to you. You two should talk together one day" He said with a nod of his head. Dianna couldn't help but blush slightly and giggle. "No offense Mr. Turner, if i didn't take advice from papa when he visited, I don't think I'll take it with you. I'm not a girl to be advised of the wisest things. I might make the other choice" They laughed. But her laughter came to a stop seeing a mule be brought to her.

"She. Ordered. A... Donkey?" She asked taking the reins. "This is that kind of shop?" He chuckled. "No, it's to help with plowing. Since your papa isn't around to do the work." He said. She said her goodbyes, before walking back down the road holding a mule in one hand, and horse in another.

Then she noticed someone different. She knew right from the look of him, he wasn't from here. She looked him over again, and stopped walking. "Hello stranger" She said with a smile. "Is there anything you need help with?" She asked.

Ulrich had been walking for quite some time and the heat was getting to him. He was used exercising all everything but he wasn't dressed for it today. He sighed and checked his phone again. Maybe he would have some bars and then could call for some help. If anything he just wanted a way to contact the outside world. He wasn't use to all of this country stuff. He had grown up in the city and that was where he stayed until he became a pro soccer player. Now he was out here in no man's land without any phone service.

Ulrich could see a town in the distance. It looked like someone was walking coming him with a horse and mule. He heard her ask him the question and sighed. "No I just love walking out in this hot weather with a button up shirt and black jeans." He sighed again. It wasn't her fault and he wasn't being fair. She wanted to know if everything was alright. " Sorry I'm in a bit of a bad mood and I didn't mean to be angry. My name is Ulrich Longstride. My car broke down a few miles back and I was looking for a town to tow my car." He stopped and looked over at her.

Dianna smiled, dismissively waving off his apology not affected by the rudeness. She motioned to the path she was currently walking in. "My uncle is the only person who fixes cars in this town. Its really small, so we really don't think we need to know much things since we get no visitors. Follow me and I'll take you to my house. But he's out of town for a few days going to the states farmers contest thing" She said said with a slight southern belle accent. She shrugged not really getting the point of those contest to see who grew the biggest vegitable or fruit. She always thought it was pointless.

Ulrich smiled and nodded. He followed her and looked around. The country wasn't all that bad but he didn't want to be stuck here for a few days. He sighed and looked at Her. " Well then I guess I am going to have to stay here for a few days." He had to stay here whether he wanted to or not. He couldn't get a hold of anyone and he would have to wait for her uncle to come home before he would be able to get the parts he needed. So he figured that he would have to stick it out until he culd leave. He really had no other choice.

Dianna gripped the mules reins tightly, feeling it walk on ahead. She took a few steps before nodding and continuing on forward. "If you want, you can stay in my aunts place. It's a good size, and cozy. " She said as she began her walk back to the house. She hoped that if he did stay, he would clean up after himself, and do chores. That's the way her aunt makes it at their house. Everyone works, no matter who you are. And everyone respects that. We all need to pull our weight somehow.

Ulrich nodded. "Sure that sounds like it would be nice. I doubt there is a cozy hotel in the city anyways." He looked around. "So what is there to do around here?" He figured that he would have to do some work and he was fine with that. He just hoped that there were other things to do besides work.

Dianna thought for a moment. "Fun? Well, I guess if I finish chores early. I would explore the fields and ride horses. Theres a fair about a miles down. But, that's to far." She said, then smiled. "Or just relax in the farm in the goats pen. The new baby goat, Buttercup, Is the most energetic thing in the world. It runs, jumps, and fall everywhere." She laughed. "Or play with the animals. They all have their own special quality that makes them entertaining. Like our duck. He thinks he's a dog. " She giggled. "But you'll see. You just have to make your own fun with what you got City Boy" She winked. They were about halfway down the road to her aunts house. She didn't realise how far it was by walking because she always rides there.
