The Dos and Don'ts of Roleplaying Members of the Legion !
I think the title speaks for itself. The next few posts are all about what you should and shouldn't do when creating your character, as well as additional information you may find helpful.

The Basics ! ↷ To roleplay in this guild, you must create a character. Otherwise, there's not really a point to joining a roleplaying guild if you can't actually roleplay, is there?↷ Title the thread of your profile with the first and last name of your character. For example, if I were to have a character named Annette Turner, I would title the thread Annette Turner.↷ Crew and higher are allowed to claim characters. We will place your godly ancestor in brackets in the title of the thread for you, so no need to worry about that. Users are allowed to choose their own cohorts, but please keep a fair balance of members between the cohorts.↷ If you have not been claimed within three days, please PM either me or a Mod. We will then proceed to claim your character.↷ Camp Jupiter plays host to both direct descendants of the Roman gods, as well as legacies, who are defined as any mortal who is a second or further generation descendant of a god. We accept up to seven generations of legacies. However, the powers of legacies are reduced, depending on the generation. Please refer here for more information.↷ You are allowed to create up to five characters (gods not included). Crew and higher may create as many as they can handle, with permission for each new character over the limit.
**Special exceptions may be made for members if I think you are capable.↷ There are several positions at Camp Jupiter that need to be filled. Positions will be posted here, along with their availability. If you would like to apply for an available position, please PM me with a link to your character profile and roleplaying samples.↷ Anything new added will be posted in red.

The Dos ! ↷ Details, details, details! I love reading these things and lots of information would be much appreciated in order to make it easier for the crew to claim your character.↷ There is a profile skeleton which can be found here that you can use for your profile. You are allowed to make a prettier version of the template, so long as all the information is there.↷ Regarding models, real people must be used. I don't have a problem with celebrities, models, or site models. Just don't use an anime picture or a scene kid. If you need help finding a model, please look here or PM me.↷ Be creative and have fun with your character! Boring characters are boring. You'll enjoy roleplaying with your character much more if you put the effort into creating an amazing character with a background to match.↷ Anything new added will be posted in red.

The Don'ts ! ↷ Do not autoclaim. Do not go saying on your profile that Jupiter is your dad, you can shoot lightning bolts from your fingertips, and everyone at camp looks up to you. No. If I see this, I will ask you to redo your profile and you will most likely not get the god you were autoclaiming for.↷ Do not bug the crew to claim your character. If you complain, you'll just add another day to how long until we claim your character.↷ This is a lit.+ guild. I expect every member to use correct spelling and grammar and not to use l33t speak. You people know English, so use it properly. If this is news for you, then maybe you don't belong here.↷ Anything new added will be posted in red.
