I'm not very good at it myself, but I can make chainmail. i was wondering who all made their own armor. Do you even wear armor?
Even though I own it, I can't wear my chainmail while I fight. It makes me too top heavy and I always fall flat on my face. I tend to crouch foward when I fight.
My ex can make leather armor and, although they arn't the most beautiful pieces of work, they work quite nicely. I've been wanting to learn how to make leather armor, myself. Maybe when I get a job that pays me enough...><;;

I've never done my own but that's mostly because I never fight, just one of my characters in four yers of playing have owned a weapon. But I do know lots of others that do there own. I got to help out once with an armor for a "dark elf"clan (I don't know if you've got this kind of elfs, Thay have wite skin, black or white hair and black clothing) to learn how to but I have never gotten to try again sense then. It was fun though.

It was fun though. Our dark elves have Black or purplish skin with usually white or silver hair. I personally avoid armor on my Avalon character (a thief), but I am working on getting myself some leather or chain for some of my others. but I've always fought using no armor and I usually do alright.

I mostly wear chainmail and leather. I can make them myself. Due to a lack of a forge (what i plan to unlack this year) my smith qualities are rather bad.

yea, i know a guy here in town who makes his own leather and plate armor, my friend is learning how to blacksmith so he can make his own armor, and i have a friend who is working with chainmail. i was going to get into smithing....but turns out im alergic to the smoke. so i figure if they can make the weapons i can use them. i wear leather armor. a right shoulder peice and a left gladiators armguard, thats about it. i need free movement for my feet. my friend scathe, the one who is blacksmithing, has a full dress of chainmail (dont know if thats the actual term for it, forgive me if it isnt), and he has one shoulder peice of leather. he is trying to make a full suit of leather armor, his instructor is ulfblood the berserker. (you can actualy find pictures of him if you google the name xd ) but hes cool, he is orriginaly an SCA fighter, but has taken time to help the dagorhir group up here get better
