I knew this was gonna be tough but.. Maximus wondered the ruined airport quietly trying not to disturb anyone, or anything for that matter, so that he could increase his chances of accomplishing his goal. He walked through the main lobby staying low sneaking past a zombie looking ahead at a blinking red light ripped from the wall. Noticing the front counter where people buy tickets wide open he dashed silently over it making a quite tapping noise as he land. He then quickly ducked peeking over to see if anything heard, he noticed the zombie was still mystified by the simple wall light and continued his journey. Turned around there were two ways to move past, the baggage drop, and an employee door leading to god know where. Max moved through the baggage drop having to duck and crawl for a moment before coming to a maze of non-functional conveyor belts, and no zombies in sight. Using this stroke of luck he sprinted through one end to the other finding the door that would lead to the back of airport, right out onto the runway. He moved through cracking the door peeking through, there was nothing stopping him so he bolted for the first plane checking to see if it worked. Opening the cockpit, and checking inside he figured it was enough fuel to get him away from Italy and had enough working bits to fly, he just needed a way to start it. Puzzled he sat on the wing with his back against the body of the four man plane, he didn't think he'd get this far so quick leaving this major part of the plan out. Going back into that hell-hole was a big fat nope in his mind, leaving he to look around hopefully finding something to hot wire a plane with? ~What the hell am I gonna do, this makes no sense...~ He though walking around scavenging the mechanical bits that seemed like they would conduct electricity well enough to use. Having a degree in engineering he had a general idea of what to do, but no clue where he would find what he needed or how well it would work, for now he was stuck, out on the runway, alone...

I knew this was gonna be tough but.. After about a half hour of searching he found what he had set out looking for and headed back to the plane to continue his work. He cracked open the top making a loud clanging noise as it popped up, he used to crowbar to keep it open by propping it up. He then set to work cutting wires and replacing them where they need to be with stray copper that he wrapped around the open parts of the cords. He then used scrap metal to conduct extra electricity to initially start it without needing a way through normal means and keep it going. Lastly he took any spare parts from what he found to improve the broken up weaker sections on the plane. After that he quickly closed the plane shut and jogged to get inside holding his crowbar, but turning the side of the plane something was there. It was a large zombie examining him, prepping to charge at it's directed meal. Max quickly raised his crowbar as the beast ran at him swinging it and smashing the side of it's temple with the hooked section killing it instantly with a spray of blood landing on his clothes. He was disgusted and angry now, but got in the plane and prepped for take off, starting the propellers. Luckily the plane worked fine and would hole together, all he needed now was enough fuel to cross the sea to Greenland. He took off in his plane out of the runway slowly but surely heading to Greenland, but first he would need to get over the UK...

Sage"I will survive no matter what the cost, not matter what the pain, no matter what the sacrifice" An hour after the last plane took off Sage's little capsule landed with a big crash, creating a crater in the middle of the runway. Sage lay in the middle of it, the only thing she had been able to do in her flight was change the coordinates of the landing to this place instead of the ocean where she surly would have died. Bits and pieces of metal flew everywhere as the rest of the debris were all on fire from the fall, catching onto Sage's military suit she had been wearing back in Antarctica to keep warm. The sky seemed very far away as Sage reached her hand up to the sky towards the small shiny dots that were stars. " Help...someone..." She faintly cried in a horse voice, eyes half open and losing consciousness fast. After a few moments Sage passed out, her hand dropped back onto the hot ash beside her. The flames were now licking around the long pants and jacket she was wearing, burning the material away. Zombies looked up and turned their heads from where they were, the loud sound attracting them. They all moaned and turned, shuffling over towards the wreckage and Sage who was inside it. As the sun was now low below the horizon, the only light was from the fire in the middle of the runway, and the fire was the only thing that was keeping the zombies away a few feet from attacking Sage.

"Zombies don't want my brains..." Kade Bennett Kade had managed to fall asleep after letting autopilot take over but woke up a few minutes before reaching his destination. Now thy he was getting close to where he thought Sage was, he would have to land the plane and auto pilot couldn't help him with that. Growing very nervous, he looked over he buttons again, looking for landing gear. He had been taught how to land a plane in his flying lessons but that had been a much smaller plane. He wasn't sure how it would correlate with this passenger plane. As he looked at where the plane was headed, he caught sight of a runway. It seemed Sage had landed near an airport. At least he would have a runway to land on. He took a deep breath and switched off auto pilot, grabbing hold of the controls. The flight immediately became bumpy and he knew this was going to be a rough landing of not a crash. Thinking back to his lessons, he pressed the landing gear button and tried lowering the plane. He had know way of knowing if he was doing this right, all he could do was hope. He felt a bit of reassurance as the plane descended and decelerated, thinking he was doing it right. Nearing the runway, he braced himself for a rough landing. Right before it seemed te plane was about to touch down, Kade noticed a crater in the runway. He didn't know what had caused it but he was afraid of how it might affect his landing. He cursed under his breath and prepared for whatever was about to happen. Luckily, the plane just flew over the crater that Sage was in and the landing gear smacked the runway, jerking Kade forward, hitting his head against something hard. There were a few more rough moments before the plane came to a stop at the end of the runway. "Oh God." Kade mumbled, placing a hand on his bleeding forehead. He got up from the pilots seat and went to the passenger seats, looking for a way off the plane. After a bit of searching, he found a first aid kit which he figured he would need for himself and Sage, if he found her. To get out, he used the emergency exit. Having not expected to return to the plane, he had taken the kit and his bow and arrows with him. He started walking down the runway to the crater he had spotted, wondering what had caused it. As he came closer, he saw the zombies lingering around it and shot them down quickly. With those threats gone, he came to the edge of the crater, avoiding the bits of debri. Setting down his bow, he bent over and looked into the crater, seeing the last thing he had expected. "Sage! Oh God, Sage!" She was out cold but he was relieved to see her alive. Her clothes were singed, seeming to have caught fire on impact. Ashes surrounding the crash site told him a fire had protected her from the zombies. If he had been any later, they would have gotten to her. He moved around so that he was in front of her and picked her up out of the crater. Setting her down on the runway, he opened the kit and started cleaning her wounds and doing what he could, hoping he wouldn't lose her now that he had found her. Finding her had made him forget the injury he had received from landing, ignoring the blood that dripped from the cut. "Because I don't have any."

Sage"I will survive no matter what the cost, not matter what the pain, no matter what the sacrifice" The blood from Kade's forehead dripped onto Sage's almost naked body, making her current state look even more gruesome. Her breathing was till very shallow, lunges scarred from the ash, smoke and other little bits that could have gotten inside her lunges while laying there. As Kade started to heal her, the coldness from some of the cleaning liquids Kade was using shocked Sage awake. Her eyes flew open as she gasped, heart racing. She clenched and unclenched her fists, not comprehending what was going on or where she was. " ..." She opened and closed her mouth, still being in a daze as her brain finally started to work again. She looked up at Kade, reaching up and lightly brushing her fingers over his cheek while looking at him. " Kade?" Sage whispered in a horse voice.

"Zombies don't want my brains..." Kade Bennett Kade smiled, so happy to hear her voice again and see her conscious. He placed his hand over hers as she touched his cheek, pressing his lips gently on her palm. "Yeah, it's me. I'm here." he reassured her. Looking to make sure he had cared for as many of her injuries as he could, he realized she would be needing some new clothes. Noticing fresh blood on Sage, he cleaned it off and looked for the source before figuring out the blood was his own. Suddenly remembering the cut on his forehead, he wrapped some gauze around it, deciding to take better care of it later. Right now, he wanted to get Sage off the runway, out of the open, otherwise it would only be a matter of time before they were bitten. He quickly checked himself for his bow which was still strung across his cheat, his arrows on his back. Feeling she was in no state to walk just yet, Kade picked Sage up and, carrying her bridal style, started heading toward the actual airport, hoping to find food and possibly clothes there. "Because I don't have any."

Sage"I will survive no matter what the cost, not matter what the pain, no matter what the sacrifice" Sage gasped when Kade picked her up, everywhere he touched was stinging from the burns she got from the crash. The zombies that had gathered around the noise dispersed after hours of standing around, waiting for the fires to die down. Though being of the simple mind, the zombies werent able to travel far. There were hundreds of them out on the runway, mostly surrounding the plane Kade had landed wanting to see if the noise was food. And since they cant open doors, most of the zombies that left the inside buildings of the airport never made it back inside, so except for the few who couldnt hear or were trapped, it was vacant.Sage's head bounced around as she looked about, getting a huge headache and still a little dizzy from her past events.

"Zombies don't want my brains..." Kade Bennett Noticing that the trip was hurting Sage, Kade apologized and set her down as soon as they got inside the building. He looked over her again, trying to see what other injuries he may have missed. It seemed the burns she had received from her landing were all that was left. Having not had anything to treat them from the first aid kit he'd found in the plane, he had left them alone but now he saw he couldn't do that. Figuring there had to be another first aid kit in the airport, he stood up and looked around. It seemed that there were no zombies in the building which was a major relief, otherwise he would not have been able to leave Sage. She was certainly in no state to protect herself. "I'll be right back. Kade told her before going off to find food, an aid kit, and some new clothes for Sage. It didn't take long for him to find clothes, much to his relief. The airport, which he now realized was rather large, had a clothing store that seemed to be there in case someone lost all their luggage. He grabbed a few things he thought might fit Sage, at least until she could walk around and choose for herself, and moved on. There were a few stores stocked with candy bars and nonperishable foods. Grabbing a plastic bag by the checkout, he filled it with chips and drinks and whatever else that wasn't rotten. With food checked off his list, he decided to make a quick search for an aid kit, one that hopefully had something to treat burns. He found one in an employee only room that had been left ajar. It was bigger than the one he'd found on the plane and seemed promising. Taking it, he hurried back to Sage.
"Because I don't have any."

Sage"I will survive no matter what the cost, not matter what the pain, no matter what the sacrifice" Sage had slumped down onto the floor, but wasnt moving in an effort to save her pain. She eventually rolled onto her back again, where the pain was the least and sat there, staring at the ceiling. It was a high ceiling, with fans that had long ago stopped turning. The lights werent on except for the few remaining lightbulbs that hadnt burned out. There was minimal electricity to everything, power plants long since shut down and abandoned. Sage blinked and cut her concentration from the ceiling and looked around with just her eyes. A lot of tables and chairs were knocked over in a rush, plants with their dirt spilled everywhere, they even had trees growing in the middle of the room. Oh. My bow. Sage stuttered for a moment, looking at the tree. Do I really have the skill to make a bow and arrow out of that? " ..."

"Zombies don't want my brains..." Kade Bennett Kade knelt beside Sage, setting the clothes and food down for the moment. He opened the aid kit he had found and started searching through its contents. "Aha," he exclaimed, pulling out a burn lotion. After putting some on a rag from the kit, he dabbed it on Sage's burns, hoping it would heal them quickly. When he was done with that, he sat back and looked at her. He still couldn't believe he had found her and alive for that matter. Remembering the other stuff he had brought with him, he picked up the clothes and showed him to Sage. "I brought these," he said, setting them closer to her. "I thought they would work until you heal and we find better clothes. There's also water and food and stuff if you're hungry." "Because I don't have any." .

Sage"I will survive no matter what the cost, not matter what the pain, no matter what the sacrifice" Sage picked up the pair of sweats and over sized sweatshirt, eying them distastefully but slipped them on anyways, peeling off her old burned clothes and tossed them on the floor. The soft fabric felt better against her skin, though still caught on some the scabs and hurt a little at times. Looking at the tree again, Sage sighed. " You hadnt happen to see a weaponry shop here, did you?" She missed using her bow, her fingers had grown accustomed to the rough string and she didnt like feeling helpless. Sage looked down at herself, seeing that the clothes were used, and stopped, thinking a moment. " Where did you get these?" She whispered, looking up at Kade

"Zombies don't want my brains..." Kade Bennett "Uh, I found them over there," Kade pointed to the string of gift shops and other stores on the one side of the airport. "In some clothing store. Why?" he added, wondering what would make her ask. "Because I don't have any."

Sage"I will survive no matter what the cost, not matter what the pain, no matter what the sacrifice" " Where is all the luggage?" She started to look at the signs about her, looking for one that pointed to where the luggage bay was. It said it was to her left, so without waiting for Kade's reply she started off walking. Sage's walk was a little jerky because of her burns, but eventually it smoothed out, with blood starting to seep into her sweat pants at the knee and back of her leg. Sage followed the signs until she found the unmoving luggage belt, suitcases left laying around everywhere, some contents were spilled out. She looked around, trying to find long rectangular cases that were usually made of hard plastic to keep the contents safe. Sage was hoping to find someone's hunting bow, though the chances were very unlikely she would get so lucky.

"Zombies don't want my brains..." Kade Bennett Slighty confused by Sage's actions and worried about the blood soaking her pants, he went after her to see what she was up to. It seemed that she was searching for something through all the luggage left behind by their long gone owners. "Uh, Sage," he said, watching her curiously. "What are you doing?" "Because I don't have any."
