Place of Work
Simple farms with livestock. People here are down to earth and tend to keep to themselves. Don't really involve in politics. Do care for the protection that comes from the government. Too many of them can go missing without notice. Little villages or groups of family farms are common.
Provide the city and towns with majority of their vegetables and meats. Paid by the government for such work.

The sun was high already so early in the day. The bright orb felt good usually. Right now though there was a little bit of a problem with it. The tan skin of a woman was already blistered with sun burns. Being out from morning to dusk did that to a person. Outside working with animals and plants. Trying to grow crops to sell and live with. It was a pain. But a lot better when you had someone to work with you. Deep green eyes looked across the horizon to the other side of the field, where the sheep were. A tall yet thin woman had just lifted up one of the heavier sheep. Tall thin and strong woman that one was. The fluffy animal seemed hurt but the blistered girl had no worries. Slamming a shovel into the dirt, calloused and blistered hands turned it, upturning earth. Their friendly bull would be used with the plow but he wasn't feeling too good. So Decadence was doing this by hand. Using a tool. She could use the pain. Had been craving the feel of it lately. Having not been able to leave the property and simply walk about. Hike the lands and stare over the hills. A pleasure she took for granted. Being as possibly within the week she would have to take a cart to the city to sell vegetable and meat. That meant butchering one of the many cows they had. Didn't do it often. But it had to happen. Though, there was a feeling in the pit of her stomach she didn't like. It had been bugging her since she woke this morning. Something was going to happen. And Dec didn't like it. Not on bit. Last time this happened. Her mother had almost been taken in as a slave. Eyes narrowed at the memory.

[Enter from Hort City.]
Lousea ran down the dirt roads of the countryside, her green eyes alight with joy and laughter. She looked over at Rina and Aniki, a smile plastered on her face and a laugh in her throat. Running for so long really wore the mage out, but she could keep it up if she tried. She'd need to start some endurance training to build up her muscles and stamina so she wouldn't tire from walking long distances. "Should we start asking the women around here if they know your father?" She asked with a deep breath of air. The blonde really ran like the wind, fast and free from care.

Rinascita made her way though the dirt in the road not caring if she got dirty like most girls would, it just annoyed her that it was taking so long to get there. She only stopped when she saw a farm and began to look at the animals as the pluma climbed into her bag not to scare them. "All large farms." She said making her way to the home and knocking on the door lightly a bit nervous.

That strange feeling kept nagging at the back of Decadence's mind. Eating and scratching away until she finally snapped and shook her head. Thoughts were not allowed to bug her during work. I twas just not allowed to happen. A clear mind was needed. Focusing on the tasks ahead of her. When done turning up soul it would be check on the bull, and the cows. Possibly going inside and making food for her fantastic mother, who hadn't eaten so far today. But had drank plenty of water. One thing they didn't run out of. Wiping her brow of sweat she took in a deep breathe of fresh clean air. One thing she hated about that damned city. She couldn't breath without wanting to gag. How could they have such nasty air flowing through their lungs. It was disgusting. But, something caught her attention. Figures down the road. Putting a hand up to block the sun she was able to see two people. Looked like a couple of girls. Definitely nobody she knew. Nobody from around here. The way they were dressed let that one be obvious. And why were they entering through their front gate and heading towards the house. Growling she dropped the shovel and headed to the house, walking around and spotted the to girls. "Can I help you?" The tone in her voice let it be known she wasn't too happy. Strangers meant trouble. She firmly believed that. But a good smack upside the head made her flinch. Knowing it was her mother.
Having sighted the people as well, Fortitudo knew what was going to happen. Even more so as her daughter stalked off towards the house. Jogging after her she was only a second late. Catching the older teen with a nasty attitude. "I'm sorry for her attitude. My name is Fortitudo. But what is it you came here for?" The smile on her gentle face was emphasized by the way her braided hair curled around her face. Versus the loose and lengthy hair of her daughter. The only different between the two was figure size and eyes. Decadence was taller and with deep sea green eyes. This mother of one was a tad bit shorter with brown eyes. Those eyes of her dear Dec came from her wonderful father. A man she majorly missed.

Rinascita instantly tensed up trying to think of what to say know that she was there, how could she ask about the letter maybe she wasn't meant to read it. "Well you see..my mother died a few days ago. I went into her room to find something that could lead me to my father." She backed up slightly seeming almost terrified of being yelled at or rejected that they had no idea what she was talking about before holding up the letter. "I-I believe it was you who wrote my mother this letter.."

Lousea ran alongside Rina, her smile on her face as she came to a stop when they were greeted rudely by the taller and older girl. Lou frowned at the girl, her eyes narrowed in annoyance, but then snapped in surprise at the brown-eyed woman that apologized for the girl's behavior. "It's all right, ma'am, I just hope she doesn't greet all strangers this way." She listened to Rina tell her about the letter and nodded in agreement. "We'd appreciate your help, ma'am."

"My daughter simply has issues with strangers. For reasons of course. Especially around here." These two girls were surely not that much older then Decadence. Maybe a year younger by the way their face structure was. Lousea wasn't the main attention however. It was the little blonde haired green eyed Rinascita that was Fortitudo's attention. There was something in those green eyes that was familiar. It wasn't until the said girl lifted up and showed a letter. Brown eyes widened as she took a hold of the letter. This was definitely her hand writing. And this letter. This one in particular. It had been so long since she had written this. It was to a woman she had never personally met. But, knew much about. It was to the mother of her daughters half sister. Oh dear. This was going to be hard to explain. "Deary, I'm sorry for the loss of your mother. As for your father. Will you come inside with me? This will take a while." She could feel the look of surprise on her daughters face. Suspicion grew. Raising your daughter alone. Or having a child in general. You knew them. Especially since she spent every waking minute with her. "Decadence come in too."
Deep eyes glared at the girls infront of her. Their sudden appearance both frightened and angered the teen. Eyes narrowed greatly, glaring at the two of them. Instead focused her attention on the other one. The blonde was not one to glare at. She was weak spirited and it was obvious when she backed away and didn't stand her ground. "I'd reccomend you shut your damn mouth. I have-" She was interrupted by her mother. Shutting herself up she scoffed. Crossing her arms and looking away it was clear she was not happy. And wouldn't be until they leave. However it seemed that would be a while since her mother asked them to come inside. "What for? I have no business with either of them. And what does that damn letter have to do with me?" The look she recieved from her mother made her shut her mouth again. Grumbling she obliged and went to open the door for them all. Returning her glare to the two newcomers. She had a bad feeling.
(idk what the hells going on with this but ive fixed it a s**t load of times and its just blech. so i give up)

Rinascita remained quiet as she was let inside, looking around before hearing Aniko in her bag chirp and shushed him, telling him they'd be leaving again soon to go find her father hopefully. "Oh right... I'm sorry I never said my name. I'm Rinascita.." She looked to the mother knowing looking to Dec was probably a very bad idea. She sat in a chair letting Aniko out of the bag which it climbed on her shoulder looking around curiously then wrapping itself around her neck to keep warm. "Chrrrri~"

My name is Lousea; we're sorry for troubling you, but thank you for helping us." Lousea smiled sweetly, following Fortitudo like a lamp after its mother. The girl sent a childish glare at the older girl. She was being really rude, even if she was wary of strangers. She ha nothing to fear from them. She just wished her attitude would change since her mother obviously knew she had nothing to fear from them. The mage apprentice had a sour look on her face when she thought about the older girl's sour personality.

As the two 'guests' and her mother walked into the stone made and wood made farmhouse, Decadence shut the door behind her. Not even bothering to take another glance at Rina and Lousea. Quickly getting to her mom, she helped the woman sit down. Even though the woman looked to be in ther twenties. she was in her thirties. Having had Deca at nineteen. Just a child herself having a child. Years and years of farm work, basically her entire life, had led her mother to have bad joints. Decadence knew it wouldn't slow the older woman down. She was a strong woman. She would do anything to protect her mother. If she had any other family she would do the same. Risk her own life for their wellbeing. Too bad she didn't have any other family. No sisters. Cousins were all out in other countries. Her aunts and uncles too old to travel. Her mother was the youngest of ten. She didn't know about her father's side. She didn't even know her father. He was never there. She could care less. "Careful mom." The look in her eyes was holding all the care in the world. Though it changed when she looked at the two new comers. Snorting she took a seat next to her mother.
After all the standing around and crouching today in the hot sun, Fortitudo hurt. Sitting down with the help of her daughter, it seemed sh ewouldn't be getting up for a while. It felt too good. "Pleased to finally meet you Rinascita. And nice meeting you Lousea. My daughter is Decadence." Her daughter scoffed next to her and her brown eyes glared. Dec stopped adruptly. Offering the two to sit, she placed the paper on the table. "So you came to ask about your father. Well. I can tell you his name and the last place I heard of him." That wasn't the only thing she was going to need to tell the girl. "Your father's name is Irritum... Last I heard he had gone to the East where he is from. See.. he's a dragon. I don't expect you to believe me." Unless she knew she was a child of a dragon. "He was supposed to come back to me and help me here while helping your mother..." Biting her lip Fortitudo did not anticipate this happening. "But, he never came back. So I had to raise your sister alone... Yes, my daughter is your half sister." That made the air in the room thick. Looking to the side of her, her daughters jaw practically fell off. She was trying to comprehend everything. It was going to hit her in a second.

Rinascita felt like her heart stopped beating for almost a full minute as she took it all in, her dad being a dragon...That she had a sister and that He was unfateful to both her mother and to Fortitudo. Rina forced herself to stand as she walked to the women, "Here let me help you.." She wasn't going to allow herself to become shocked that the new discoveries of her father and sister, but it did mean this women was family. She closed her eyes letting a orb of light form in her hand then pressed it to Fortitudo's leg so it sent a surge of enegry through the women then caused all pain and stress to be released leaving only good feelings. Rina took a few steps back falling back into a chair but smiled like the kind, naive, airhead she was. "I guess my dad being a dragon explains how I know Life magic."She laughed slightly.

Lousea seated herself when Fortitudo gestured for her and Rina to sit. She remained quiet and observant as she listened to the older woman speak. The witch tried to make herself inconspicuous in the room because she was looking into a private family matter that she had no right to be participate it. She kept her head down and her eyes on her hands resting on her lap. It was hard for her to sit still while she overheard Fortitudo tell the Rina and Decadence that their father was an unfaithful, womanizing dragon. She had the urge to slap the father, even if he was a dragon. What was more, she could feel her heart flutter in amazement as her eyes caught the light Rina emitted from her hands. It both shocked and surprised the girl that her new traveling companion could use magic as well, and Life magic at that; it was a magic not many could use let alone control.

This news was a bit too much for Decadence. However it sunk in rather quick. That would slowly change her perspective on Rinascita. The girl had a sister. All this time, she thought she had nobody except her mother. Turned out she was wrong. However it was sad that their father couldn't stick to one woman. That alone made the girl's lips twitch. The white teeth set in her jaw were perfectly white. Canines sharp as it they had just grown in. Lifting a hand and pinching the bridge of her nose, the older teen tried hard to calm down. The sound of a chair made those sea green eyes snap open and stare at whoever had gotten up. As Rinascita approached her mother, eyes narrowed. What was she doing getting close to her mother. An answer came when a orb light appeared, being put into Fortitudo. Those eyes continued to watch. "Seems we are complete opposites." Decadence stood, her right hand turning dark. As if engulfed in a dark aura, she wouldn't touch anybody with this. Years of trying to control this, made it easier. Picking up an apple she took a deep breath. While Rina's magic healed. The apple slowly started to rot, as if days and weeks of not being eaten taking a hold of it within seconds. Soon it turned to mush and dissolved into nothing. Closing her hand and reopening it, it was gone. Stumbling after a couple of seconds her hand went up to her forehead. Felt dizzy. "Explains why I'm cursed with this horrible Dark magic." Returning to her seat, she rubbed and massaged her hand, it feeling numb.
Fortitudo was curious in her mind. When the beautiful little innocent Rina stood and came forward, a feeling in the air made her look immediately to the girl's hands. This was a feeling she hadn't felt in years. A healing spell. The girl's father used to do this for her when she was pregnant with Decadence. Being as tiny as she was, she was still strong. Even strong people feel pain. And baring her daughter had been extremely painful. It was only common knowledge it was hard for humans to give birth to the child of a dragon. Sometimes, you passed on. Feeling much better, she watched the girl collapse to her chair. "Thank you hon." The smile on her face only wavered seeing her daughter stand. Well, knowing her daughter, she was going to find a way to show they were different. And even as half sisters shouldn't be compared. The girl knew that Fortitudo was comparing her to her father, and half sister now. She hated being put in with others. Liked to be 'herself.' "Dear be careful, last time you did that you fainted for a week." Oh, children.

Rinascita watched with a tilt of her head being very interested as she forced herself up and picked the apple up, taking a deep breath as she made it go back to normal form then looked to her newly found sister. "Its not a curse. You see even Life magic makes mistakes in bringing to life what is unneeded. Thats why dark magic is needed to fix those mistakes and life magic is needed to fix the mistakes of dark magic." She repeated what her mother would tell her as she put the apple down where it originally was.
