The dark rival of Archmage Sparrowhawk wished to rid of the balance between light and dark. Life and death
Wanted to destroy the gate join both ends of the spectrum. Afraid of death himself. Not realizing life ended with purpose.
The castle in ruins, nothing remains except dark open chambers. Occasional rooms still in contact. Many things rotted and destroyed.
The dark presence is still sense. Leaving chills down spines. It is forbidden to come here. That doesn't stop other.
Other's that want eternal life.

-Few days time skip-
It took a few days of constant stopping and staying under the stars for the whole Im leaving the nest thing to click in her mind. Now as suggested by her sister they were taken to these ruins to find evidence. Where they could find evidence of how their father would be or his whereabouts was beyond her. "This place gives me the creeps." She seemed to be complaining but it really gave her bad feeling and the Pluma agreed hiding in her hair.

[Enter Lousea and Kauru'un Soone from Farmlands.]
Lousea, after several days of walking—instead of riding like she wanted to—arrived at the ruins of Cob's Castle with her traveling companions, staring straight up at it with wondered and dread. Maybe ghosts still haunted the place? The thought sent shivers down her body. They were cursed for trespassing on the grounds— "Be careful upon entering. The ruins have a dark essence." Lousea jumped at the sound of the Guardian's voice directly behind her, whirling around to stare at him wide-eyed. The man, who she later learned was named Kauru'un, had spoken not a word since their departure from the farmlands several days ago. "Don't do that!" She shouted before clamping her hands over her mouth, as if afraid to bring the wrath of the evil spirits down on her. Lousea half-expected the Guardian to look amused at her outburst, but he remained stoic and serious. "Refrain from shouting, kicking, or other violent behavior. The ruins are ruins for a reason. They can topple at any moment." Lousea's eyes stayed on him in silent fear. They could really die here. Turning away from the silent man, Lousea said to Rina, "I don't like this place at all. It gives me the creeps, too," She stayed close to her friend, staring at the castle as if a monster may pop out at any moment.
[Should Dec and Rina be considered Kargads instead of Eastern since they are blonde with pale skin, the signature look of a Kargad? confused ]
