I lost yet another betta! Kaoru, my purple betta ): Okay so, first, I got this tank just for my betta, but he was three years old and died about a month later. Next, I got this blue betta; he was eaten by one of my other fish, who I got rid of. Now, Kaoru got dropsy and died ):
If that tank wasn't betta specific I wouldn't get another, but I refuse not to. And I don't think it's much of what I was doing wrong...The one fish was supposed to be docile as a baby, which it was.
My other fish are just fine! Including my glass catfish which are supposed to be hard to take care of.

I figured that the first one succumbed to old age, but Kaoru was my third betta, after the second one got eaten. The old one was #1. I hope I won' be having problems with betta #4 >(, I meticulously searched for Kaoru, too. I had to find the prettiest and the healthiest. Guess who's gonna spend fifteen minutes picking out a betta again
