I would love to hear about the first thing you guys ever wrote.
Mine was when I was about six, I wrote a little story about my first grade class taking a fairy trip into the clouds and being back before lunchtime. It wasn't very long or plot-driven, and I can't even really remember most of it, but I'll always remember that the first words were "I have a story to tell."
Tell us about your first stories!

my first story was more of an able than a story. It was about a girl who had superpowers who lived in a mention. Her powers where shapeshifting into any animal. and their was when I was five.

When I was eight, the first story I ever wrote was only a paragraph. It was about a girl who didn't have any friends at all and befriends her own shadow. smile

Hmm.....well.....if memory serves me right it was a story I had to write for Elementary School. It was about a giant named Sarah Sue. She befriended a rather large bear (if I am correct) they adventured around and eventually caught, de-poisoned, and cooked up a snake.
I love that story, well, tall tale really. I might just post it if I ever find it

@ShugarSkull: That sounds like a beautiful story. The kind that I would read and love no matter how sad it makes me. crying

The first thing I ever really 'wrote' was a fanfiction story about Inuyasha when I was twelve. However, there is an original story I'm working on right now, and I started working on it since I was about seven or eight.

I'm not sure what my first story was since I've been writing for as long as I can remember. Quite recently, however, I was digging through some drawers and found an old story from when I was in first grade or so. It was about a spider named Meya that was washed away from home during a storm and captured by a boy named Justin after traveling into his house. The boy let the spider go when he was ten and she died sixty years later. It's hard not to laugh at now. Especially when you notice all of the spelling mistakes and the fact that I used to mix up my b's and d's. Still, it's cute and I'll love it forever 4laugh

I can't really remember my first ever story but one of my oldest was about a boy named john who had a bike that could fly and he flew around the world on his bike with his dog Bark. I was probably around the age of five or six because I found it a couple months ago and it was all written backwards with alot of spelling mistakes. (example: eh welf dnwara tihw sih ltil god krab.)
It was probably my shortest story ever, it was one paragraph.

For sure mine was really odd. I was probably in 5th or 4th grade when I started actually writing this down. It was about a boy name Rocco, who got possessed by a devil. It had a whole plot line and everything, and he even killed his best friends. It was pretty messed up but I remember almost everything about the story till this day.

I must have made some attempts when I was little, but I forget them! gonk The first story I remember was one I tried writing in middle school. It was about a girl who learns she has powers- tiger teeth and claws, if I remember. She comes across this guy who knows she has these powers, and finds out that her mom wasn't really her mom. The guy tells her that her dad mutated her genes to give them both powers and that he's her older brother. I stopped writing it when I realized that it basically was the same plot as a series I loved at the time- Maximum Ride! sweatdrop Whoops! I loved the cahracters but not the story... maybe I'll incorporate the characters into a different story. Some day.

My first actual story... The only time I can remember writing a story before I started fanfiction was a creative story contest everyone in our school had to enter and I wrote about a group of cookies that ate people. God I'm still horrified by that lol

Hmmm... Can't quite say for sure what my very first story was, but the first I remember was one in I wrote in the second grade for a writing assignment... we made them into little construction paper books and everything... anywho, as I recall, it was about a little princess who got banished from her kingdom by her parents, and ended up on an island that gets attacked by giant man eating space worms... I was a weird kid.

The first story I wrote that I remember was in first grade. It was pretty violent for a little kid, with smacking and punching. Well, this girl is captured by a witch and the girl beats up the witch.

Mine was extremely weird. I think I wrote it in first grade .So this is what the story was basically about. I wanted to make a PB&J for my friend and I and I was really hungry so I got this huge container of peanut butter. While getting the jelly, I knocked into the container of peanut butter. The peanut butter created a huge wave that went through the city. My friend and I grabbed our surfboards and surfed until the wave finally stopped moving and the peanut butter was all over the city. The people and my mom got mad at us, so as punishment we had to clean it all up. But we couldn't let all of that delicious peanut butter go to waste. So for the rest of our lives all we ate was PB&J.
