Please don't forget, if you're giving anything away from the book, use the spoiler option. c:

Currenly reading Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's complete collection of Sherlock Holmes stories.
Have mixed feelings about it. It's very clever and Holmes and Watson are interesting characters. But then the representation of female characters is a bit samey and not all that interesting for me. And the short stories tend to follow a pretty similar structure, so there's always a sense of repetitive familiarity when you read them too close together.
Despite that, still enjoying it. Determined to finish the lot off in the next couple of days.

Right now I'm reading A Brief History of the Smile, by Angus Trumble (best name EVER, am I right?).
I'm going to re-read The Naked Ape by Desmond Morris on my trip this week for sure. I'll probably take some other books with me too--just haven't decided.

Gosh I wish I was reading something. I just can't find anything that really interests me right now...or it could be where I haven't been to an actual bookstore in a year... It's a little depressing.
The last book I read however was City of Lost Souls and I enjoyed it very much. whee

I'm ashamed to say I am currently reading 'Fifty Shades of Grey'. Not really feeling it, but I am determined to finish at least the first book. I hope it picks up and gets me interested, because right now I am pretty unsure. Going to the shops today/tomorrow to pick up some DECENT books. biggrin

I'm reading 'In the Woods' by Tana French. It's a mystery novel and it's pretty interesting even though the story is going a little slow biggrin
I have a lot of books I'd like to read this summer. Next would be 'Mount Misery' by Samuel Shem - a must for anyone who plans on studying psychology emotion_yatta

I think I read a different version of The Naked Ape last time. gonk This is a 1969 copy I picked up used and it's... out of date.
I'm also reading something called Genome, about the human Genome, and it's interesting so far. Just started it.
I'm reading one of the Kelley Armstrong books, too--a novella about a demon/witch. lol

I'm reading Nevermore, the final book in the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson.
It's absolutely fantastic. The Maximum Ride series is the most captivating, high-flying, thrilling series in all of the universe of literature. emotion_kirakira

Going to the shops today/tomorrow to pick up some DECENT books. biggrin I read the entire trilogy and I have to say that it was the funniest thing I have read in ages! It was so bad that it actually made me laugh XD You can really see how it started off as a "Twilight" Fanfiction. Therefore I really cannot understand why I got so super popular and why people called it revolutionary. Personally, Im reading "Time Untime" right now, which is the latest installment in Sherrilyn Kenyon's "Dark Hunter"-Series. I reccommend it to anyone who likes some mythology, the supernatural, strong female characters, super sexy men and who doesnt mind some (well written!) naughty parts.
