Jon is average in his appearance. He would almost be handsome if it wasn't for his very sharp nose. His eyes and hair are brown and is kept short, in almost a buzz cut. He stands a little over five and a half feet and is about 140 pounds. During his first year boxing he injured his left wrist several times in both fights and training. He refuses to use magic to fix it as he feels it would give him an advantage the other fighters don't have. Consequently he almost always has his left wrist in a wrap for support.

During the school year he is normally in a black pants with a Hufflepuff tie and a white shirt. In the winter he will throw a black sweater over that to stay warm. His robes all make him feel uncomfortable so he only wears them when he has to. While on break he normally wears some kind of button up shirt with black or khaki pants.



Jon has a thick English accent. During class or any time when he is around teachers or strangers he speaks clearly and properly but, around friends and family, he uses the slang and accent of his childhood.



Jon tried to stay out of trouble during his first few school years out of fear of being expelled but his temper often got the better of him. This lead to Jon spending a lot of time in Headmistress Ithilwen's office and plenty of punishment hours around the campus. Now that he has a few years of experience at Hogwarts he is a quite bit better at conforming and being more social.











Jon was Muggle Born and raised in a dirty little corner of London with five older brothers. His parents did their best for him but neither of them ever graduated from high school. Consequently both of them worked multiple jobs just to put food on the table. His family hadn't had a wizard or witch in several generations so until Jon got his letter from Hogwarts, none of them knew about the magical world. At first, his family thought the letter was some scam and threw it away. The second letter came with a representative from Hogwarts to explain to them that Jon really was a wizard.

Before he knew it he was in Diagon alley buying his supplies. All of his robes and books were bought used and he didn't have enough money left over to buy the cat he wanted, or any animal for that matter, so he went to Hogwarts without a pet. He was confused about being sorting into a house just like the rest of the first years. His was the third name called. As soon as the hat touched his head he immediately felt its presence. Like someone was staring over his shoulder. He wanted to turn around. To rip it off his head. Jon's hand began to move towards the hat but was interrupted by laughter, coarse and aged.

"No. You can't fight me. I'm a hat." Its amusement seemed to end and it began to mumble. ' You have the ambition but not the blood. Slytherine would despise you. No, no. Ravenclaw, no. You have the intelligence but no real desire to learn. No curiosity. Hmm. You have Courage. Gryffindor maybe? Hmm. What else? It stopped for a moment. 'Loyalty, Dedication, and a thirst for justice. Yes, I know where to put you.' "HUFFLEPUFF!!"

Through his next three years at Hogwarts Jon discovered he was not a powerful wizard. In History of Magic and Charms he excelled but he only passed his Potions, Transfiguration, and Defense against the dark arts classes through hard work and a written understanding of the course work. It took a little while, but after his second year his Hufflepuff nature started to kick in and he became more social and outgoing.







His first summer back from Hogwarts he began to work at his uncle's boxing club. After a while he picked up the sport and in his free time he trained to be a light weight fighter. To blow off steam during the school year he will go for runs around the school grounds, and row or swim in Black Lake when he gets the chance.
