These gates rise from the mist of the mountain side as an enterance to the large village. Kumo guards dont play around with trespassers.

The clone of kichona would be nigh impossible to tell apart from the normal version of her. This being said there would be a brief taptaptap on the roof of the guardhouse as she sprinted over the top and out the gate laughing happily at a potential chase. The way she moved it would be hard to get a direct glimpse on her face and she was moving just fast enough but slow enough to be followed. Honestly, she had a goal and she needed someone to follow her to achieve it. Her tail was wrapped around her her waist as a belt so that it couldnt be distinguished as a tail and thus make it even harder to keep track of.

Nyxes clone pouted as nobody had followed it. She could go missing nin easily enough if she wanted to but it defeated the entire purpose of spinning off this aspect of herself. She had to think of another way in. She walked back into the gate and gave a halfassed salute to the gate guards as she strolled by. '
Sei pressed on towards the gates as Jaice caught up with her and asked her about her incomplete thought. Sei ignored his question, giving a different thought instead to the boy. "We need to hurry and deliver this to the raikage." Walking up to the gate the guard would halt them and ask what their business was in a different village. Sei was straight with the guard. "We have a letter we'd like to deliver to the Raikage. Hopefully we haven;t come at a bad time?" The guard would then shake his head and ask that they leave their weapons at the gate while they are in Kumogakure. Sei sighed. "I guess it cant be helped. Here." Sei gave her sword and her single rope dart and was allowed through the gates.

As they reached the gates Jaice would sigh as she never answered his question. Females continued to confuse him as they walked on. As Sei spoke he nodded and immediately dropped his tonfa and his weapons as they reached the gate, knowing that it was customary less they were there to attack which would been stupider almost as stupid as Aian. Following Sei Jaice thought about the incomplete thought and about the Raikage herself.
"But it`s not because it is my pride that I will not give up. It`s because I cannot give it up, that`s why it is my pride."

The Sunagakure ANBU walked through the gates of Kumogakure and looked around, then noticed where the tower for the Raikage was. He was greeted by the Kumogakure ANBU, and explained the reason for his visit, and even allowed them to take his weapons, in a gesture of good will. He nodded to himself once they were done, then hurried to deliver his Kazekage's message.
Sei was not that much in a rush to get out of the area, but she didn't feel like waiting much either. Upon reaching the guards, she took her weapons back, and left a message with them to tell Jaice that she'll be at the docks waiting for him.

Casually walking out Jaice kept his hands in his pockets as they walked out of the village. The place had changed since he was a merchant but it kept the tough act that he'd seen. The raikage was a lot stronger than he thought and was exactly as he had thought personality wise, either way it was enjoyable. Kicking up his tonfa Jaice would catch them before sheathing his senbon and other weapons.
"But it`s not because it is my pride that I will not give up. It`s because I cannot give it up, that`s why it is my pride."
The ANBU took his weapons from the Kumogakure ANBU and left for home. He was more than happy to return to Sunagakure. {Exit}

As he approached the gates he heard the guards going on about being a man down. With a sigh he made his way over to them and told them he would fill in for the missing person until the next shift came around. [1/4]
After a moment of discussion the other guards agreed and he took his place at the booth. It wasnt very long before a group of travelers came though and after taking the time to check their cargo he and the others let them pass without incident. Returning to the booth he kicked his feet up and leaned back in the chair. His hands fell into his jacket as he pulled a smoke from the pack in his pocket and lit it with a flick. He also gave one to the guard in the booth sitting next to him when he asked. [2/4]
While he enjoyed his smoke he talked to the the other guards to learn more about them and what guard duty entailed. Turns out one of the guards was a Hyuuga and that having either a Hyuuga or a sensory type shinobi at the gates at all times was just standard practice. He was also interested to find out that the guards shifts rotated based on not rank but time spent at the gates. Meaning the longer a person was on gate duty the less chance they would get it again in the near future. [3/4]
For reasons unknown to him it seemed the guards and even the random passerby's he interacted with enjoyed the experience. Maybe he just had that personality that made people want to follow him. Not that he would complain. As his shift was coming to a close he thanked the guards for allowing him to fill in. to his surprise again the guards told him that any time he wanted they would be more than happy to have him. However instead of just leaving he waited until his relief showed up which should have been any time now. That was until another shinobi appeared and informed him that his replacement was delayed and out of the village at the moment. With a heavy sigh Nari waved the man off telling him that he would stick around a bit longer. [1/4]
After taking his place he pulled a smoke from his jacket and relaxed against the massive gate door. After a moment his voice absently filled the air, "Oh burning heart of the world below, keep careful watch of my brothers souls. And should the sky be filled with fire and smoke, keep watching over the fires sons." [2/4]
Taking a drag from his cig he exhaled the smoke before taking a deep breath and continuing,"If this is to end in fire, then we shall all burn together. Watch the flames climb high, into the night.Calling father oh, stand by and we will, watch the flames burn auburn on the cities side. And if we should die tonight, we should all die together." Having finished both his smoke and his song he stared off into the sky. [3/4]
He chuunin and a team leader and that meant he would have to be a leader. He had never tried to be a leader before it just happened from time to time. How does one try to be a leader? One is either a leader or not a leader. Not to mention how much he cared for his friends in the village. [4/4]
Pushing himself up from his place on the ground by the gates he brushed himself off and turned around looking at the state of the gates. While overall they were not of poor construction, they did have room for improvement. [1/3]
With a smile he went about reinforcing the gates themselves with mokuton he created as needed. Next he placed braces and crossbars along the perimeter to take the brunt of impacts should the need arise. Stepping away from the wall he looked it over inspecting it and after a moment nodded his approval of their new state. [2/3]
Turning his attention to the gate he formed a quick seal with his left hand before using his right hand to guide his mokuton as it grew. Running the wood along the left gate he ran spars across the door and then vertically down them to strengthen them even more. Repeating the process on the right door until he was satisfied that the gates wouldnt be breached unless under extreme amounts of force. [3/3]
With a smile he patted his hands together and headed out.
A rather bored Nari again approached the gates slowly. After finding out he had been put on regular guard duty it was a regular occurrence for him to be here. Once he was at the gate he greeted those already on duty and picked up the ledger so far and began to study the civilian traffic in and out of the village. [1/4] Once he had made a mental copy of the list he took his place at the side of the open gates leaning against the door as he waited for something, anything to happen. He had been itching for a fight lately to break him from the routine he had found himself in, otherwise he was bound to loose his edge. [2/4]

[☬] Having been told to go to the gates of the village Nagato did so post haste. His body darting in and out of the way as he ran through the street all the way from the Raikage's tower. Looking forward he wondered what this person was suppose to be like, also he wondered if they'd notice his fangs in his mouth. Though it was hard to tell from time to time mostly because he tried to keep his mouth closed when smiling. Finally appearing at the gates Nagato stopped his body coming to a halt while he looked around looking for anyone that might be looking for him. His newly acquired headband resting around his neck while he looked around for someone.
As the minutes turned into hours and the flow of traffic in and out of the village slowed Nari returned to his place against the massive reinforced door. After a few moments his attention was pulled into the city by the arrival of another young ninja. Pushing off the wall his hand fell to his hip as he spoke up,"Something I can help you with?" He hadnt seen this man around before though truth be told he wore the headband and so he was an ally.

[☬] Looking as the man pushed himself from the wall Nagato's yellow eyes went to the man. He stared for a moment before hearing the man's voice asking if he could help him with something. "Well...Kon-..." He stopped himself, he was used to calling her that due to his past but he was a shinobi in the village now and must refer to her as her title. "The Raikage told me to report here, that I had a teacher waiting on me." He then turned glancing around wondering where this teacher could be. "Do you know where I could find them?" He asked looking back up at the man while he waited for his answer.
A small smile spread across his face as Nari made his way over to the man,"Whats his name? When it comes to the higher ranking shinobi odds are I can point you in their direction. Though I doubt your teacher is here. The only ones here are the anbu, Mike, Bob, Sean, Hakume, and whatshisface over that a way." Having spouted off the names he made his way over to the booth and signed off on his shift taking on his second shift as well.
