A large, metal sliding door made from a crashed airplane's wings. Breaking through, while technically possible, would be incredibly difficult. Not even a group of Abominations could handle it. So don't bother trying. But feel safe-ish, knowing nothing is going to do too much as far as getting inside. There's a pretty big chasm a few yards from the entryway, but fret not- it's cross-able by a bridge that seems to be composed of pure light. Definitely safe. The creator of the bridge is missing, though...

A lone figure approached the gate, slowly drawing closer as a smirk grew across his face. The strange part about it was, the figure was hovering a few feet above the ground. His veins glowed with an eerie blue light, and as he got to the front of the gate he lowered to the ground. "Been a while," he muttered softly, resting a hand on the cool riveted surface of the Entrance wall; a grin crossed Alex's face as he pushed the door open. That's right, ladies and gents. Alex was back. And crazy shenanigans, foolishness, awesome fight scenes, and all-around freaking amazingness was sure to follow.

"So this is it, huh?" said another being who appeared behind him shortly after. "I heard there were others, still alive, sill sane. Just wasn't sure whether or not to believe it." Her eyes- which were an abnormal orange-red color- focused on the figure before her indifferently. She wasn't much a fan of people, even though her contradictory nature wanted friends. His luminosity or the fact that he was floating didn't perturb her in the least as she walked a little closer. When she got a look at his face, she thought he seemed vaguely familiar, but refrained from saying anything about it.

"Yup... This is it," Alex muttered, turning to face the voice as he lowered. His own eyes were dripping blood, solid red- the odd coloration of hers certainly was no startling thing. He gently lowered to the ground and glanced over his shoulders at the edifice before him, and then returned his gaze to her. "There's a few, here and there. We had a decent group up here, before. But things... Came up. A lot of us died, or left. I don't really know if anyone's still here... But I'm back. And I'm going to try to get this thing back," he muttered, and then nodded at her. "Sorry. Forgot my manners. Not that they mean much, nowadays... Anyway. I'm Alex. This is the Headquarters. Or at least, it was... And you are?" He seemed soft-spoken, almost gentle in demeanor as he wiped the spots of blood from his face. But suddenly he grinned, and with a wave of his hand the monumental airplane wing that served as a door began shifting. With a groaning heave, it pushed itself to the side; the way was open now. Alex looked to the girl and grinned.

She watched, still seemingly indifferent, before looking to Alex and answering. "I'm Jacqueline." She looked around him to the space now opened, and wondered what lied beyond. "How unfortunate that they died." Jacqueline said it in a cold tone, her bitterness rising again. Her eyes remained locked on the space behind him. She made to walk over, not particularly caring if he followed. Lie. She did care. She was tired of being alone. But at the same time, she hated them- people. It was great load of jealousy, which she was generally able to set aside, but it felt harder now.

"Yeah. A real bummer," Alex snapped, frowning at the girl. "Jacqueline? I'm calling you Jackie." It wasn't a question, a suggestion- it was a statement. And if she didn't like it, that was just too damn bad. "This is HQ. If you want to stay here for a while, I suppose it's better than a Crazy. At least a Crazy has the decency to actually kill and eat my friends before taking a s**t on their memory," he grunted, turning and floating into the open space. This girl, she was a piece of work. He sighed as he floated past her, glancing quickly with a frown as he headed into the Courtyard.

The name didn't bother her at all. It was a bit better than her real name anyway. But it was strange at the same time; she never had a nickname before. Jacqueline merely glanced at him in return and followed.

A figure, twitching and erratic suddenly appeared in front of the HQ. "Holy s**t, it's still standing" he breathed. Suddenly he slammed into the wall, and spread his arms. Almost as if he was hugging it, "Oh HQ, how I've missed you." He spoke like he was talking to an old friend, one that had seen many battles with Matt. If you saw this scene, you would almost expect him, and the massive HQ to sit down and have a drink together. He backed away, and wiped a single extremely manly tear from his eye, and walked in

Within the vague distance of whatever city this place used to be, a very faint sound was edging its way through the pervading silence within the area. It was undetectable at first, yet it grew slightly louder, and once the noise was loud enough to catch the attention of anyone nearby, a vehicle would be spotted within the distance- and it was steadily increasing in size the closer it came to the HeadQuarters. It wasn't long before the object was revealed to be an eighteen wheeled semi, with the trailer still intact... and the bottom and tires heavily splattered in what looked like dried blood.

Though the possible driver could barely be seen, the vehicle slowed to a stop almost twenty feet from the headquarters. With the engine continuing to run, the driver's side door swung open, and leaning on the sill of the open window was a teenaged girl. "Is this it?" she whispered to herself, gazing at the huge airplane wing laying next to the the possible entryway. There had been rumors of people that were still outside of the survivor camps, though it was highly questionable due to the increasing amount of maniacal creatures running amuck in this land. After reaching into the truck to grab a worn out duffel bag, the girl hopped off of the truck door as she slowly walked towards the entrance, tensing herself a bit before she stepped inside the opening. Hopefully she had found the right place- if not, at least she came prepared in case all h**l broke loose. If it was, she could finally turn off the engine to conserve gas for once, for it was going to be a hassle searching for fuel.

Azria closed her eyes and opened them with a sigh hoping that there wasn't going to be a fight in the near future. When she saw the huge truck she groaned. It's flipping huge... How do they expect me to drive that thing. Oh well. I guess I'll manage. She walked up to it and a small sliver of metal floated to her hand as she picked the cars lock. The mechanism was mostly metal so it was easy for her to move everything the right way for it to open. Then she hopped in the driver's seat waiting for everyone to follow her. She was anxious to get going before it got dark. There was no way in hell she was doing a food run at night. Shivers crawled up her spine. Don't psych yourself out Az. It'll be alright.

Interesting... keep an eye on this one sister, she could be valuable... Desiree awed at Azria's powers, and then giggled as she followed the girl. "Hey, Azzy! I think Desmond likes you..." She purred, keeping very close to Azria. Sister... Desiree giggled again. "Can I ride shotgun? Please!" Her voice was that of a child.

Azria laughed softly at Desiree's display and nodded. "Yes you can ride shotgun. There is enough room here for all three of us if you don't mind being crammed close." How can he like me? I can't even see him. She sighed mentally to herself. Oh well this should be interesting. "So Desiree, Desmond, and Jackie? What other ideas do you all have?" She asked as she started the car without a key. It was way easier this way just using her sense of direction with the metal as she nudged it and coaxed it into place twisting it so it would start. The car came to life. "Now how's that for hotwiring?"

"How about I just kill them off with radiation when they decide to show up?" Jac replied at the request of suggestions. "Nice skills, by the way," she added, eying Azria's work. She sighed, wishing she could sit by the window. Oh well. She climbed up and took her place in the middle, frowning as she stared through the windshield.
PostPosted: Sat Jul 14, 2012 11:43 pm

"If there is any chance of any of us getting a trace of radiation I'd rather not risk it. How about we keep that incase of an emergency? Last resort kind of thing." With the car in gear Azria drove off towards town. "Now let's have fun on this all girls shopping trip. If everything goes alright we can even get clothes and pretend we are normal teenage girls." She smiled and knew it was wistful thinking, but sometimes it was good to pretend that everything was normal.

Jacqueline looked at her and replied, "If you keep over my 30 foot radius, you should be fine. But whatever." She ignored the comment about the shopping trip. She didn't want to think about it. She didn't feel like pretending. No, right now, she only wanted to let off some steam on whatever stupid monster had the misfortune to cross paths with her.
