Unlike the west, there is plains and a large drop off into the sea. One cannot go very far into the west side of the island without meeting the drop off into the sea.

 Nexus Oda Genin || Kenjutsu || Samurai || Chakra 295/295 || Ryo: 0 || Ac: 0 Upon making it to the east part of the island, Nexus looked as Medi as he unshealthed his massive greatsword followed by his dual katana's and stabbed them into the ground. Using the greatsword as a back rest he sat and looked at Medi. So this other boy Kazuma, he is from Konoha as well I presume. I mean I have never heard of him in Kiri. Also if it wasn't easy to notice, I am a weapons fighter, and since your a medic I will tell you this as well the horns are real as are my eyes. It was then that Nexus moved his hair from his eyes and showed Medi their black voids. My family was rather different, though I don't know of any others that exist. Oh and you mentioning that you don't feel like you are home with Konoha? I am the same way with Kiri, I was always mocked as a kid until they found out that I am a force to be scared of. With that said, Nexus pulled as kunai from his sheath and began to spin it on his finger.

Although seeing the act with the swords, he unsheathed one of his three katanas and used it as more of a cane. "Yea.. I'm an outcast as well, although not for the same reasons. Long story short I am a medical samurai, my physicality is my pride but the medic side is my talent. Our clan was a clan to be feared but was always peaceful and just protective. One day a group of our clan decided to try and take over the world and deny the rules of the clan. They eventually reached Konoha and raped the women outside the village, the outside farm folk. A lot of women were pregnant and aborted the babies. I was the only one who wasn't aborted. Those men were luckily slaughtered by three amegakure nin no one knows of. To this day I live the name of those men, rather than the name of my clan." He then pulled his katana up and showed it to Nexus. "You see this katana? It was specially made to me along with my other two from our Kage. It's made of iridium. It is one of the strongest and lightest metals on the earth. I get six more when I master the style Santoryu." He then sheathed started using it as a cane again, "These type of swords will work well with my clan, although right now I am kind of out of its purpose level. All it serves me right now is it beats any other sword in strength so they won't shatter." He then started to get a depressed look on his face. "The weapon is made so that I can combine it with my clan jutsu without shattering it. I hated my clan, I wanted nothing to do with it. Unfortunately my mother is very persuasive and believes I can bring the name of my clan back to good. She died recently and always dreamed of my participating in the chuunin exams. Here I am!" Nexus Oda Genin || Kenjutsu || Samurai || Chakra 295/295 || Ryo: 0 || Ac: 0 Nexus nodded as he listened to Medi talk. Well my new friend. You will do well as long as you know what you seek in your heart. My clan was much the same as yours save for that they really didn't fight and really didn't want trouble. Though one day one man thought he was better than the others and decided to take out everyone in his path. He almost succeded and was called the demon king. Nexus seemed to look down a bit as it was obivous that he was discusted by this man. Due to his actions my entire clan was hunted down like animals and killed for the very thought of what would happen if they stood and fought. My family was drove to the mountains for shealther and it was there that we began to look like this! He suddenly stopped the kunai and sheathed it as he tried to calm down. That is pretty much all I know about my clan besides the fact that these aren't our real eyes, and that I am the only one left. He looked back down and grumbled something about Nobunaga being a degenerate b*****d.

"Eh screw what others think, I think the horns look pretty neat. Although, if you give me a chance, I might be able to remove them in time if you really wish. The horns have to have a root and origin. Surgery should do the trick to remove them from you to take away that scar, although as my mother taught me, never fear what you can become, just stay true to who you are." Then Medi turned around and faced where they had come from, the center, looking for Kazuma. "Enough negative talk about our clans. It does nothing but play with our emotions. We need to keep level headed and hope that our last member is not a drag. I believe I saw him, but only here. He is a konoha nin. He had some hostility towards kiri so watch out for that." He turned back to Nexus, "If he gives us any trouble though, we can always just leave him, but that's if he's a problem. "The Infinite Blue is here..." He finally appeared on the east side of the island and sat down in the sand near the water. He wasn't interested in talking with the two, he was only concerned with the clues that where made out more like riddles. They were strange indeed, and some hinted to being somewhere not on Nagi Island at all, but wasn't the point of a Chuunin to stay in the Exam area? It made no sense to him why such a thing would be needed. "One is obviously in Kirigakure, guessing off it's obvious hint indicators... and it's a book... but there are some that hint in oceans and lakes... How would one get to them?" He continued pondering the question as he sat and thought. "... So long as you don't refer to me as the Lone Squirt."

He could tell by the look of the kid he didn't care about us at all, he just cared about what he was thinking of which was probably the clues. That's not exactly a bad mind set but he hoped to not have someone that would be trouble with team chemistry.

Nexus Oda Genin || Kenjutsu || Samurai || Chakra 295/295 || Ryo: 0 || Ac: 0 Nexus watched as the man didn't take the hand of Medi which really angered him as he stood and replaced his greatsword and katanas back in their holsters. Looking over at Medi and then at Kazuma he spoke, Least you could do is show your teammates some respect. If you don't wanna do that then go find a place to wait somewhere else. But I warn you, just because you are different than most ninja doesn't make you stronger. A team is better than being alone. So I am giving you one last chance to show us some respect. With that said he looked Kazuma in the eyes and seemed to exert his haterad that he displayed earlier towards him.

"The Infinite Blue is here..." Kazuma looked at the man who placed his back to the water and stared at him in anger and started to talk about disrespect and then felt a tug on the bottom of his shirt. He realized the Dolor became self-inflamed over not getting his hand shake and tried to pants him, but must have been suffering from a brain injury as he was sitting down. "Not replying in two seconds isn't a sign of disrespect, and I know you're back there, no need to alert me of your presence." He said as the two were obviously going to get violent soon anyways. It seemed like it was time to leave the area, with a few quick hand seals and a clap at the end, he himself liquefied as a surge of water appeared behind Nexus and came to wash him away and carry Kazuma into the water as it reseeded with the waves and with that, he himself, was gone. "... So long as you don't refer to me as the Lone Squirt."
