Appearance : Evelyn has a slim figure with long, flowing brown hair that reaches to her waist. Depending on her mood and the sunlight her eyes always seem to change from green to hazel. Her complexion is quite fair from reading in her father's library all the time.
When she is out and about her dress is that of simple classics. She loves to wear skirts or dresses and although the weather is quite chilly she will pair it with stockings. When the weather gets too frigid to even wear a skirt at all she resorts to wearing sweaters, jeans and sneakers.
Speaking Style: Evelyn speaks with a Northern British accent in a formal manner. Her parents had house guests over all the time so speaking formally has always stuck with her.
Demeanor: She first comes off as the quiet kind type but that is because she tends to get lost in her thoughts while sitting somewhere. It is not unusual to see her sitting on a windowsill and staring out the window. However, anyone who starts to speak to Evelyn quickly figures out she is quite kind but also very strong-willed. She will never speak negatively of anyone no matter how cruel they may be to her but if you mess with her friends she will defend them with all her will. Everyone who knows her knows that she is willing to help anyone and will defend anyone in her trouble.
Best Qualities: Very intelligent, caring, and kind. With her intelligence she has quite a knack for learning new spells and mastering them quickly. With her caring and kind personality she helps anyone in need and quickly befriends just about anyone. Along with traits she is friendly and intuitive.
Worst Qualities/Flaws: Her strong will makes her quite stubborn. She can argue hours on end just to defend her views. Her intelligence and kindness is also a bit of a downside because some individuals take advantage of her. Her stubbornness sometimes causes her to have a temper and she will just storm off somewhere. Then guilt overcomes her and she quickly sets off to find the person she was horrid to and apologizes.
History: Evelyn is the oldest of 4 children. She was born to a couple of average importance but when she was 8 her father's business took off and now they are one of the wealthiest families in Britain. However, this new-found importance was hard on this 8 year old's childhood. Being the eldest she is the assumed heir to the family business and was forced to grow up a little too quickly. Always resenting her birthright, Evelyn dreamed of the day when she would prance off to Hogwarts and be free to do what she really wanted - to satisfy her inquisitive nature.
She's always been one to question everything and her parents could not control her thirst for knowledge. Instead of playing outside with her siblings and cousins she would spend the majority of her free time in her father's library hovering over some dusty book.
One thing was odd about Evelyn, however. Since she was young she would start spouting sentences while staring off into space and when she would snap to. . .she would have no memory of it. The amazing happened to be that what she would say would come true! Her father and mother were worried because they knew deep inside she was a Seer and the responsibility this held. They had never told her about her ability to see the future and Evelyn is still oblivious to it. This will be her first year into Hogwarts and she will then find out her secret ability.
Although unexpected her parents weren't too surprised she was a Seer. Somewhere down the Kayle line was a Seer who was rumored to have fought alongside the muggles during World War II. That seer was Fredrick Berwyn Kayle - a well known Seer in the wizarding world. Because wizards had an underground network to support the muggles in the war as best they could as to not reveal their idetnties, Fredrick Kayle used his Seer powers to aid the allies near the end of the war because of his homeage to Great Britain. It was rumored that Fredrick Kayle was the reason the Allies were able to overcome the Axis powers! It was also proven that every couple of generations in the Kayle lineage the power of a Seer would passed down and Evelyn happened to be the most recent member to inherit the power and responsibility. It was also proven that it would mostly come when a Seer was going to be needed during that generation. With this in mind her parents were fearful as to why the power of the Seer would come at a time like this.
