styrofoam hallucination
I think you did a very good job. The disection of the hand from human to machine is cleverly done- the detail of the accordian piece for the movement between the thumb and forefinger is nicely done, but don't you think the forefinger might be a bit to slender? I know it''s supposed to be a fleshless finger- pure machine but imagine what the proportions would be if it were to have skin and whatnot like the other shown fingers... I can't help but imagine that it wouldn't match their currently scaled out size properly. I also think you should put more detail into the nail of the thumb. I think you were trying to show the mechanics of the nail but it doesn't quite match the angle you have the thumb on.
Nice work though- it's still very well done and well, I'm not a well advised art critic lol Just thought I'd share some opinions
this is why I post art somewhere
I love opinions
emotion_yatta truly I do, because even an unadvised comment with what a person sees, feels, thinks or considers helps formulate what went on spot and what went way of target =)
Some people have an eye for detail without having a hand for art, actually most of us have an eye for detail, especially if it concerns something familiar to us (a hand is familiar isn't it?)
Looking at it more closely now I do see a lack of size. I did however simplify some things towards the final version because I felt too much was going on ^^;
