Note from the Captain- Hello and welcome to TWELVE, the first roleplay of its kind! TWELVE was developed by myself, holy crisis, and others over a number of years and here it is- the final compilation! We're pleased that you've joined us.
TWELVE takes place in the present- that's right. I'm posting this is 2012, so in TWELVE, it's also 2012. Although it takes place in the present, the world of TWELVE is very different from ours (as you can tell).
TWELVE is a combat-based roleplay. Although there is no point combat system (like the d20 system), players in TWELVE are required to train and earn their "stripes". While a character can arrive (and do!) with preexisting combat skill, the character must earn the respect of others through battle and relationship building to rise to the top.
And that's really what it's all about! In this Guild, we're a family, and I hope we stay that way for years to come. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me!
So let's get started!
- holy crisis, Captain

1 ) The Captain and Crew are almighty. Their characters, however, not so much. Any player-to-player conflict will first be discussed amongst the players, then taken to the appropriate Crew member (Head of ARIES for combat issue, Head of CANCER for personal complaints, and Head of LIBRA for rules violation), then if that Crew member cannot or will not resolve the issue, it will be brought to the Crew in general (which includes the Captain) for review. In rare cases, a forum may be opened for discussion of the issue. The decision at any of these levels is final.
2 ) TWELVE operates on a three-strike (3-strike) system. If you are caught violating any rule for any reason at any time, you are given a 'strike'. After the third strike, you are banned.
3 ) There will be no godmodding. Although there is no points system, there is the expectation that all battles will be fair. There will be strength in combat disparity, however, make it realistic (again, if there are any combat problems, address first the player, then the Head of ARIES).
4 ) The TOS is enforced. This mostly comes into play with the PG-13 rule. Sex will not be tolerated in the forum. However, there is no set limit for cursing- and it is not a reportable offense. As TWELVE is combat-based, violence is a part of the equation, but excessive and graphic detail is not. The same thing applies here as with #3- the expectation that you, the player, are smart and can self-analyze.
5 ) Be respectful of your fellow players. Even if you do not agree with what they have to say, please respect it. Do unto others as you would have them to do you. There is a difference between discussion and argument for argument's sake.
6 ) All OOC chatter will be kept to the Main Forum. Do not clutter up the threads designed for roleplaying with chatter. Bring it to the Main Forum, where anything goes- you can post your own threads and comment in other's.
7 ) Absolutely no one-liners under any circumstances. As this is a literate and above roleplay, you are expected to contribute at least five sentences per post of quality writing. It is better to wait until you can compiled something worthwhile than to post nonsense or post very little. Ultimately, quality over quantity (as long as that quantity is at least five sentences).
8 ) Ask for permission, not for forgiveness. If you have a question, ask before you act.
