Volume 11 of Twin Spica was de-listed at TRSI pretty recently. Vertical had mentioned that the series was going out of print, but it looks like it might be going faster than I expected.
I went ahead and ordered the whole series from a few places. Time to see how many volumes I actually get, and how many are cancelled and I get to track down elsewhere!

For my birthday my girlfriend bought me a Misaka T-shirt.
It says "Caution Biribiri" on it.
Love it, love her for getting it.
Also, I now have to save 120$ for the first Accelerator figure to ever be released.

Madokami is gorgeous but coming up with the $150 to pay for her. crying At least you've got a few months to set aside money. I've been meaning to check out the Index/Railgun series, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I should just start watching an episode a day and blow through it.

The last of the Twin Spica books arrived today. Hunting down OOP books is a pain, so it's nice to not have to worry about it for once! Now I just need to find time to read the whole thing. Nougami Tork That's a lot for a figure. I have Touhou figmas worth around that price. Sadly now that I'm unemployed I highly doubt I will be getting it.
Index and Index II are great series.

Touhou isn't really that big in America, so it's only natural that the things that are sold here/imported would be sightly over priced. I ador lots of characters from Touhou, and the music is just absolutely one of a kind.
Railgun is worth a watch, but it didn't cover the things that the manga did so I was left disappointed.
I refrain myself from talking about Index in this guild to much. There's a lot of things in it that the guild leader would absolutely hate.

I was hoping that GSC would re-release the Kurisu nendoroid, but I wasn't expecting a re-release of the lab coat version. I kind of want her, but I just know that if I get her they'll re-release the regular version and I'll be stuck getting both. gonk Nougami Tork I refrain myself from talking about Index in this guild to much. There's a lot of things in it that the guild leader would absolutely hate. I have the same problem with Utena.

I might as well bump this thread, even if it doesn't get a lot of activity.
I'm finished with classes for the semester! I haven't had a lot of time to watch anime or play games, so we'll have to see how much I can get through over the break. I'm at least rewatching Steins;Gate since I've had a bunch of friends mention wanting to see it.
And Madokami is ready to ship! But the size meant that she got upgraded to EMS shipping, so she ended up costing even more than I expected. crying I'm not going to be buying much in January.

The early episodes are fairly slow and the writing is really weak in spots, but it's still a pretty fun show overall. Funimation has the whole thing up on YouTube if you want to watch it. Let me know what you think of it!

I hear it's on Adult Swim now. I've seen... seven or so episodes? I'd like to get through more of it; I just keep getting sidetracked with other shows. I'd be up for joining in a discussion somewhere in the guild to go alongside the Adult Swim broadcast. And I just had to pay for the Madoka movies, so hopefully they'll get here later this week. I've watched the TV series a few times already, but it's one of my favorite anime so I can't wait for these to get here! Aniplex has already said that they'll be screening the third movie in the US, so hopefully it'll be close enough to here that I can make it to a screening this time. I'd rather not have to avoid spoilers for the ~6-9 months before the BDs come out.
