So with the release of the 6th Edition Core Rulebook I thought there would have been more traffic here and discussion on the topic. So what do you guys think about the new rules? Anything you like? Anything you dislike? Do you need to rethink your build? What about allies for your current army?

Personally I dislike Hull Points. They make the Necrons way too over powered again. Their Warriors and Ghost Archs are now better than any non flier vehicles in the game. All they have to do is glance roll 4 6's and a Land Raider is a wreck. The reworking of Rapid Fire also aids in this since they no longer suffer any draw backs from moving.

I do like how Terminators got a super durability boost by making general Power Weapons AP3.

My current army list is still really deadly. Except the Hull Points now make Venerable worthless. So I'm going to free up the points I sink into a Venerable Dreadnought and probably invest in fortifications.

I also really like the terrain effects. They can either heavily benefit or totally screw your units or somewhere in between.

Um... I don't know yet. I still haven't been able to make it to my store to pick it up. We are down to only 1 car from 3.

That sucks. I've only had glances at our store copy. I ended up torrenting it.

Mwahahahahahahhaaa!!!!! I now have the secret documents in my grimy little claws. Not only do I have the main rule book, but I got the Gamers edition with the leather Munitorium satchel and the Lasgun power pack full of dice and markers. It is so pretty.

The army their giving Chaos seems kinda s**t,
two 10 man troops with 6+ Armor save,
A group of 5 glorified scouts (Elite Marines)
A Dreadnaught (hopefully able to deep strike himself in)
and a Chaos Lord (woopie?)

Meanwhile DA get 5 termies, 10 marines, bikers, and 3 lead guys.

Those 5 termies alone can probably handle everything... especially if the dread gets in the mood to team kill.

That seems really really one sided. Then again, if the chosen are anything like the 3.5 Chosen, then they can single handedly wreck that entire DA army. But chances are, with the rumors I've heard, the 6th Ed CSM codex is just an expanded 4th Ed codex. Which leads me to believe it's going to be s**t. Again.
