This is a roleplay and breeding event!

You don't need to roleplay in order to participate in the breeding, but it will be assumed that everything that happens as part of this event is canon. In other words, even if you don't RP your rat as having been kidnapped, if he/she participates, the kidnapping will be a permanent part of that rat's history.

Here's how it works:

The Ukeshu and his guards plan a late-night raid into the Small Animal Area, capturing any rats that get in their way and dragging them back through the tunnels. They will keep a portion of these rats imprisoned in the newly-excavated Quarantine Room territory and couple them with Wild warriors.

The captured rats won't really be accepted into the wild colony. They'll be viewed with as much distrust and derision as ever, BUT their offspring will be valued -- at least, the ones who show promise will be.

The resulting offspring will be trained up to be loyal Wild Ones.

The event will happen in phases:

1 - Sign ups. You will sign up here. You can enter a maximum of two rats per person -- one wild, one domestic. These will be the rats that participate in the breeding program.

2 - Selection. I'll roll for random pairings, one wild and one domestic rat per coupling. After the couples have been selected, the litters will be colored by our colorist staff.

3 - Retaliation. You don't think that Bitey and the other domestics will let this happen without a fight, do you? Prepare for an all-out battle as wild and domestic rats clash over the resulting offspring

4 - Reward. Who knows who will win the upcoming battle? What we do know is that there will be a whole crowd of jisk that must find homes -- and we'll be only happy to oblige.

Black One: *Looks at The Ukeshu, then back to herself* I'm a large female, it's true i've only had one litter, that i lost during the flood but my father is a Keshu, my brother too. Though they too were lost in the flood, no doubt trying to prevent the panicking weaklings from escaping OUR tunnels. You may not even pay me much heed in general but i will NOT be denied the chance to help you rebuild our Colony so that no others can oppose us, we will drive out those that oppose us Ukeshu.... *she winds herself around him, her tail dragging over his back* I can provide plenty of distraction for you when you are resting between your Glorious Battles *her speech over she closes her eyes again and waits for his response*

(her color is a throwback to the Black Rat as opposed to the Brown Rat but her size is most certainly Brown Rat, she's slightly bigger than the average female)

Why should the Ukeshu choose YOU to pass your blood onto future generations? Alphabet has lived most of her life alone (hence why there's no colony or rank on her cert, although depending on what happens in the meta, I would love to have a quick joining RP with Ukeshu if it fits with what occurs IC and you're fine with it), and has been near the fringes of both domestic and wild rat territory, although she associates herself more with the latter. It has made her strong and resourceful, but the solitary life she has led has made her introverted and quick to bite, and the status she holds is often enough to cause chills to some, for many rats abhor and fear the idea of being alone.

What could you possibly bring to the Ukeshu's colony, you pathetic weakling? At first, Booby would seem like one of the worst candidates to contribute to any bloodline. He is eccentric, smaller than most other males, and doesn't look as if he'd last two minutes in a fight. But he possesses a quiet, unyielding strength when it comes to his ideals, and skilled and careful paws when he heals that gives him the potential to be a asset to any who win his loyalty. Physical prowess isn't everything, after all.

What could you possibly bring to the Ukeshu's colony, you pathetic weakling? Your scouts nabbed me and dragged me here against my will. I'd really rather just go home and forget this ever happened, but since I doubt that that will happen, I suppose I shall have to make the best of the situation and make myself useful. I'm not really a fighter. But my father was, as were my brothers. So there is the potential for strong sons.
