First off I would like to start by saying thank you for joining the guild and I hope you enjoy your stay!
"Art is Dead" is a personally inspired guild that I took a whole day to think about! Almost an eternity, I know! My goal is to bring together as many unique, innovative, fun loving, and passionate artists in hopes of creating a community in which they can all interact with eachother.
What could possibly be the point of this? To show bedazzling talent of course. Everyone loves taking credit for their work and if showing isn't much your style there are many other ways of staying involved such as appreciating the work of others and offering critque or giving advice on your own personal experiences with specific mediums- so on and so forth.
As mentioned on the guild front page there will be contests! Oh yay! Prizes for your acclaimed works!WOOT! and also as mentioned- no medium will be left out so don't worry if you don't think you can manage a writing contest or a photograhy shoot because there are many different options to choose from!
Rules? Should I mention rules? I guess I should.
1. Take pride in your work- please no fishing for compliments. Don't play off as something being a terrible piece simply for the sake of hearing kind words.
2. Honesty is a wonderful thing and greatly appreciated but speak kindly and in a respectful manner.
3. Please post in appropriate forums and sub forums
4. Please stay active in the guild. A low activity guild is not a fun guild so if you aren't serious about being a member please re-think your decision of being here.
5. Be creative and express yourself- don't be afraid of what others will think- unless of course it's inappropriate content which then of course you may wish to reconsider posting it or not
6. Please do not plagiarise
