 Sharha 17 Female Hedgehog Anthro Sharha acts tough but is actually a shy sweet girl. She is scared of storms sicne en she was little she was alone with a thunderstorm going on and it really scared her.

Shara was on the course practicing for the next big race at the academy. She was their est chance to win. Then she pulled off her best trick and landed with an X. One of the best ranks you can get. Then she smiled and crossed the finish line at over 400 Mph. She was a fast racer and her time was nothing to sneeze at.

Sonic walked in the top of the of the stands with a smile on his face and a chili dog in each hand. He had been great friends with Shara since she first came to the Academy. Sonic heard a shout and looked over, seeing Amy call to him and jog on over towards him. Sadly enough, this was Sonic's second lover interest. He had always liked Amy but lately had started liking Shara. She seemed tough as nails at a first glance but was in truth a lovely, shy little girl.

Shara was now getting some water and was sitting inside the lounge at the academy. SHe was a transfer student and was happy to be friends with Sonic. Though Amy didn't like her. She had many friends mostly because she was pretty. But she had a crush on Sonic and wanted only him. But she was too shy to tell him. She was only her normal self around him and no one else.

Sonic saw Shara heading for the lounge and told Amy goodbye. he dashed through the crowds quickly and easily and was soon standing behind Shara. He smiled and tapped Shara on the shoulder, tapping his foot silently as usual. "Hey Slick, that sure was fast but you still can't beat me!" His smile was bright and his breath had a hint of chili dogs.

Shara laughed and said "Well maybe you should slow down for me." She was kidding and then she patted the seat next to her. "You want somethign to drink to go with those Chili dogs of yours?" She said with a small laugh.

Sonic laughed and waved the first quiestion away as if it was rediculous. He plopped down and leaned back. "Humph, me? Slow down? Yeah right! I'll only go faster sister! And sure I guess, I'll take a soda." He looked down at the belt he wore as his communicator beeped. He smiled at who it said it was and got up to answer it. "Hey Sophia! What's going on sister? We haven't talked in like forever!" He kept talking and when he was done, he said goodbye and sat back down.

Shara laugherd a little as he said he only goes faster. THen while he was talking on the communicator she went to get his soda and got some water for herself. "Here's your soda." SHe said as she sat down and took a shy sip of her soda.

Sonic smiled as she handed him his soda and thanked her. He flipped the cap off and took a sip himself. "So, how you feeling for the big race tomorrow?"

"A little nervous but I'm also excited at the same time." Shara said and smiled as she looked at Sonic. She was so shy but at the same time she was tough.

Sonic smiled back and gave her a thumbs-up. He thought it was so cute so the fact that under her shyness she was a strong person. He looked down at his wrist com, a private com-link for him when Tails needs him or trouble arouses. "Dang, Tails needs me, I guess I'll see you tomorrow." He patted her back and got up, then ran off at hyper speed.

Shara smiled when he patted her back and nodded at his statement. Then she went home for the day and put her board on its perch and sat on the couch. Then her step-brother came in drunk like she had never seen and said "Your late. WHere you been?" Shara got scared and said "I I was at the academy." "That's what you always say." He replied and grabbed her arm then struck her with the belt after she told him he was hurting her. Eventually he stopped but only after she ran up to her room covered in Bruises and blood. She was crying and wanted Sonic.

The next day, Sonic, Tails, and Amy all walked to the track with the rest of the academy. Sonic excused himself to go talk to Knuckles, he was in the race today. He found Knuckles and they started chatting happily. He looked to the next stall and saw Shara. He excused himself and trotted over, patting her back happily. "Hey Shara! Ready for today? You got some tough competition today with Jet and Knuckles in there." He just kept smiling at her. His smile didn't falter as he saw the covered up bruises on her cheek and neck. Is she getting in fights between classes? What is with this girl?

"Yea. But to be honest I'm really nervous. But I'll be fine." Shara said smiling. Then the announcer called the racers to the starting line and Shara even though she was feeling dizy didn't back down. Then once they started she got a very good start. But Jet as normal, was trying to make her lose her focus but she didn't budge. Then as they came to the final lap she started to get dizzy and sped up a little to pass Jet. SHe was in 1st place and Jet was right behind her waiting for board to run out of Air. SHe stopped a couple times for air and stuff but then as she appraoched the finish line she felt really dizzy and passed out falling over just as she passed t finish line and hit her head. The bruises were bleeding and she rolled to a stop. SHe was out cold.
