When ever i breed pokemon i try my best to avoid breeding pokemon that are related in some way. Example- when i breed dream world pokemon and i have two eggs one with the right nature, but the parent or sibling as the ability i will find another two other pokemon and have them breed them to breed with the first one to avoid the thought of insest, and i keep track of who breeded with who to prevent that as well, it does seem very unnecessary but i just feel morally wrong using pokemon that was created from relative pokemon.

Does anyone else have any thoughts or opinion about this

not really that seems like a lot of unnecesarry work. when i play I usually dont let morals intervene with my playthrough usually causes problems

When you are breeding you have to dismiss many things. I release at the least 50 Pokemon before I get the one I want. And when I say least, I mean LEAST. If I didn't have said "incest" while I was breeding, it would take me more than double time it already takes for each Pokemon.

Becides, for IV breeding, you basically have to breed with the Pokemon you get from the eggs. Unless you have a master key Ditto (Ditto with perfect IVs), then it just doesn't matter.

i agree that my ideals make breeding a lot more complicated but when i get the pokemon i wanted i feel more accomplished and when i use then successfully in battle that make the win or loss that much more satisfying because they were raised in a way i say fitting, and i really don't have a problem with breeding with newly hatch pokemon

I never had a hand at breeding, although I'm excellent at Pokemon Contests/Musicals. Is there something wrong with that?

It is only certain Pokemon, like togepi that cannot breed. It doesnt matter if you just hatched the Pokemon, you can switch it right out with one of the Pokemon and it wouldn't matter.

there isn't anything wrong with not being a breeder though i think it is a important factor in the game, i 'm not really a fan of the musical and i kinda like the contest like in manga there are different trainer skills
