"How dare he!?" The shout echoed through the castle followed by maids and servants rushing out of the thone room as large crashing noises could be heard hitting and shaking the walls. "How dare you tell me to calm down when that traitor has MY daughter still!?" The king cared for his family, his daughter being pure and innocent very unknowning of the war. Now its been a year! Where was his son when he needed them or a worthly knight to go save his son. "Fu-k this!" He shouted again causing the wall to shake once more as he walked out of the room into the hallway.

Rivet, in his preferred form,a black cat with green eyes, licked the back of his paw and brought it up against the back of his ear several times. The king's shouts weren't a surprise to him. The bajang demon—a demon that could assume the form of a cat—had heard this all before. Princess Levi was still in the evil clutches of the king's elder brother and leader of the rebels Abatu. The royal knight wondered when a rescue party with some brains behind them would be sent out to save Levi. They needed to have an insider on the other side, someone that can easily slip inside the rebels' ranks and gain their trust without getting caught. Watching King Zantu made the cat want to laugh, not at the king, but the absurdity surrounding the princess' status as kidnapped. Giving a small cat sigh, the demon looked down at the king from his perch high up on the small windows of the castle walls.

"Get me the best knights! Or someone who can get my daughter back!" He ordered not going to let the generals tell him they couldn't without getting their heads cut off before watching them all rush away. He was dead serious. The last letter he got from his brother about his daughter concerned him about the safety of his poor Levi. "What did the letter say?" His wife asked only to get a huff from the king who was still very annoyed. "He was going to sell her into slavery if she caused trouble again." The queen put her hands over her mouth almost in tears at the idea of her daughter being gone forever.

"My king," Rivet mewed, gathering himself on his paws before leaping down before his king and queen. His black cat tail twitched back and forth before spoke once more, still remaining a cat. "I may be able to rescue the princess. I make no promises, but the chances of succeeding with me are much higher than the others you've sent." He reasoned calmly and with an assured purr. He didn't want the queen to cry anymore. The woman was already going through enough, and an empty threat from the king's brother did her no good.

The king forced himself to calm enough to not seem so violent, he needed that so he could make the right decision. That was where he was always a step ahead of his brother in planning, "You may go on my blessing but if you are able to please bring my daughter back." With that the queen was now crying starting to think their daughter was gone for good, and that was horrible speically since their son was gone for the time being as well. Zentu began to comfort his wife trying to stop the crying.

Rivet blinked his bright green eyes at his queen and meowed solemnly. "Please do not fret, my queen. I'm sure Abatu's words are, but an empty threat." Rivet bowed his head to both of the royal monarchs before he scurried down the halls, still in his cat form. He quickly arrived at his chamber where the knights of the castle rested. He shifted into his human form, which was a contrast to his cat form. His hair was as silvery-white, his skin was pale, and his eyes were as blue as the daytime sky. The knight glanced around his room, gathering the supplies he'd need to rescue the princess. He did not notify anyone that meant something to him about the mission. It would bore him with all the "good lucks", "come back alive", and "make us proud" people would surely give him. He never needed luck, he just needed his poisons and mind. Rivet left the castle in his human form and cloaked in two cloaks. The princess, if he did succeed in rescuing her, would need something to hide in. He also had spare clothes for her, as well as his poisons and other weapons. The bajang left the kingdom and ventured into the rebels' territory.
[Exit Rivet to Rebel's camp.]
