Distinguishing Features: Pale skinned (but not a deathly pallor) with either snow-white or raven hair and pale (near colorless) blue-gray eyes (may have distinctive blue, gray, or hazel eyes). Clan members have deceptively slim figures; even the males appear quite feminine. Like their Konoha counterpart, the Hyuuga clan, this clan’s fighting style is also based on graceful, chakra-enhanced moves. However, the Fubuki clan uses their Hyouton limit in conjunction to their dance-like movements to create a swift but brutal assault. One would describe a Fubuki in their dance as moving ‘like the wind’.

Description of Limit: The ability to manipulate air/wind patterns and lower temperatures around the clansman (distance varying) to extraordinarily low temperatures. Combining these abilities in different patterns gives a Fubuki some form of control over the weather: in the form of creating sudden blizzards, hailstorms, sleet, as well as encasing things in ice. Since the ice for their Absolute Tundra was manipulations of their own special type chakra, Fubukis will be able to sense intruders whom enter their tundra field. However, because the tundra field’s radius is determined by the skill of the clansmember, they generally cannot determine the exact locations. Fubukis cannot sense fellow clansmen who enter their tundra field due to them having the same chakra types.

Their doujutsu, Boushi no Hyouden (Eye of the Eternal Snow Field) allows them to see through extreme/heavy weather and the visibility of air/wind patterns. Skilled members of this clan can use this ability to accurately predict the weather and foretell distant enemy movements based on air/wind pattern disturbances. What’s interesting is that their doujutsu’s field of vision is neither set nor forced, rather, it is based on how widespread the inclement weather around them is. If all remains calm, their field of vision is normal. However, Fubukis can extend their field of vision by purposely stirring up inclement weather.

Appearance upon Activation: The clansman’s eye colour fades to a icy silvery-blue and the iris itself takes on a glassy appearance. Ice chakra will emit from their bodies, turning a certain radius of their surroundings into a tundra world. (3 Cp per turn for keeping the doujutsu activated.) Hyouden is a necessity, in order for the clansmember to see through the heavy weather caused by their own Hyouton techniques.

History: A nobleblood clan from Kirigakure. This lineage of Hyouton users were descended from an odd branch in the bloodline of the Rikudo Sage. Unlike the former Hyouton-using Yuki Ichizoku of Kirigakure, whom were completely extinct by the time the Fubuki first came to Kiri, this Hyouton family was formerly from the mainland and possessed traits that were also not found in Elemental Creation families, such as a doujutsu and needing to utilize an established Elemental Decompositioning method in order to qualify themselves to learn the basic affinity they did not have: this was because this Hyouton family possessed the merged form of the Sixth Element chakra.

Theories aside that the Fubuki clan were probably equally descended from both Rikudo brothers, the Fubuki, whom had been former royalty of Yukigakure also possessed an extremely organized clan structure unlike the Yuki Ichizoku. Kirigakure no Sato agreed to not compensate their clan laws, as long as the Fubuki do not hold seats on the Council. Still yet, the Fubuki Ichizoku became very influential due to their numerous services to the village.

They were famed most for their loyalty, up until an event a little more than three years ago. Sick and tired of the Water Master Mistress’s tyranny over the villagers and the refusal of Kirigakurians to fight in union, the head family sect -- the Lunarius branch -- took their young son Shinratsu and as many clansmembers from the Fubuki family as they could and attempted to escape the village. Unfortunately, the plan was discovered and as the clan tried to escape, Shinratsu’s father was murdered in front of his watching clan in the hopes of discouraging them. By the very Kirigakurians they had sworn to protect, but whom had decided to aid the Water Master.

Instead of swearing loyalty to Mistress as per demanded of them, dismayed at the only option available, the clansmembers chose to fight to the death. Their combined bloodlimit transformed the battleground into a tundra world and they killed their enemies by freezing them over. However, those whom fought alongside Lord Shinkou died due to the side effects of their bloodlimit (being the very blood in their veins froze over due to overuse of ice based techniques, resulting in very painful deaths).

In the chaos that ensued, Shinratsu’s mother was able to escape with her son but she later died of frostbite (because she shielded Shinratsu from direct contact of the clansmembers’ assault) in a nearby town. Shinratsu would use the little bit of money his mother left behind and traveled in a caravan to Iwa, where the young clan head would remain for quite some time. Shinratsu was too young to learn the clan techniques at his age, but fortunately, Shinratsu’s mother was the keeper of several valuable scrolls that the clan chose to bring before the escape.

But those remaining in Kiri, whom Shinkou had chosen not to bring along due to their elderly age, or helpless youth, held the worst of the punishment. Shinkou had given the choice for those whom did not want to leave in Kiri to remain, for the elderly and the young needed protection. When Mistress' representatives came to the Fubuki estate for questioning, their shock at learning that Lord Shinkou fell in battle only turned to cold fury. A scuffle broke out, one that Mistress had to personally suppress, and the able-bodied Fubuki were taken to prison.

After some time, Fubuki Princess Hatsuyuki, a daughter of the Janus sect who was engaged to the clan heir, made a deal with the Water Master to release her surviving clansmen in returning for handing over the remaining Fubuki God's Legacy sword, the water-reigning nodachi Sou'en. The Fubuki clan was released from their imprisonment, although many had already expired in prison due to rather choosing to die rather than to answer Mistress' questions. The once great clan had been severely slashed in numbers: now only a handful of the youth and clansmen in their prime remain. The Fubuki would seclude themselves for quite some time to rebuild the home they had lost, but internal struggles pervaded: the survivors were angry with the princess for destroying the very essence of their struggle against the Water Master.

Eventually the Water Mistress was destroyed by her own ally, the Earth Master: the two Go-ryu Masters fought a battle to the death, ending in the deaths of both. During the cataclysmic battle, despite their hurt over the villagers' cowardice, the Fubuki still chose to house as many Kirigakurians as they could in the safety of their northern estate. The time came that Kirigakure was once again to be ruled by a Mizukage, though one could not be chosen. Instead a council was formed and ruled over the village until a choice would be made.

Three years later, the Fubuki had regained honor with those whom acknowledged their courage, though much of Kiri also slander and hate the Fubuki for the clan's decision which caused the Water Mistress to kill many of the Fubuki members. The Fubuki still retain a nobility status within the village, for with the exception of the princess, the rest of the clan had been admirably loyal to the Kirigakurian ideals.

Today, the clan is beginning to blossom once again, though Shinratsu still has yet to return to the compound and rule as the clan head. Over the years, they heard rumors of a Hyouton user in the mainland. As the Fubuki do have branch members living in Yukigakure, there is no confirmation as of yet by either their own members or the village that the heir is possibly still alive. The location of the secret scrolls the former head has taken with his family also have not been found, though there have been several attempts to find them, forcing the Fubuki of today to teach by oral tradition. Fights have also broke out among the main family sects to choose a new head of family in place of Shinratsu, but a decision has yet to be made.

Requirements:
- All clansmen are wind/ice affinity. There’s no choice due to the nature of Fubuki techniques.
- Younger clansmen (below Chuunin level) wears special chakra-repressing gauntlets made of black metal. The purpose of this bracelet is to diffuse their dangerous chakra so that their ice chakra won’t hurt them because poor control over their bloodlimit could seriously injure a young Fubuki. Though it is only necessary on their left arm and hand, because their ice chakra is only from one side of their body (incidentally the side closest to their heart) most clansmembers seem to prefer to wear both.
- Due to clan history, most clan members start out in Kirigakure unless otherwise given permission.

FAQ:
- The Fubuki clan's Hyouton Jutsus are not created from mixing wind/water chakra. Their chakra naturally branched off and specialized into an ice type though they still need to manipulate oxygen and water molecules naturally present in the surrounding air with this chakra for their Jutsus. This is more of a disadvantage because this specialized chakra can cause quite a bit of harm to the clansmember if used incorrectly.
- Their doujutsu don't have foresight. It's just logical predictions based on disturbances in regular air/wind patterns. That means they could be wrong too when reading these patterns. In other words, Fubuki doujutsu does not have Uchiha's foresight abilities.
- Even though this clan’s ice chakra is limited to only one side of the body, when using Absolute Tundra, they can use their wind chakra to even out how the ice chakra is released to throughout the entire body.

Jutsu List:
- Due to the missing scrolls, the Fubuki clan’s jutsus have been passed down to the younger generation through word of mouth and demonstration. You must learn the techniques from an older clanmember who has mastered the technique, until the scrolls have been obtained from their place of hiding.

Reido Tougen (Absolute Tundra)
Description of Jutsu: The first and all future activations of the Fubuki kekkai genkai is accompanied by their doujutsu. Icy chakra emits from their bodies, freezing their nearby surroundings. The clansmember will be able to sense intruders in their tundra field due to body heat and recognizing a foreign type of chakra in their purely ice chakra-based field. However, if this technique is kept on for too long, rebounding damage will be inflicted on the clansmember as well. It is possible to keep this technique on indefinitely.

Atsui Nanpouboufuu (Warm Southern Gale)
Description of Jutsu: Due to the unpleasant nature of their Jutsu style, the Fubuki clan had to come up with a way to lower rebounding damage inflicted upon themselves and their comrades, since they technically don’t have control over who their tundra field damages. The Fubuki performing this technique modifies the flow of air patterns around themselves and their comrades with their wind chakra, so it almost seems like a warm southern gale is protecting the clansmember and his/her friends from the cold. This technique may also be used to treat frostbite. The clansmember will breathe onto the injured part of the body and a gentle, warm wind will slowly thaw the frozen blood/veins and gently coax back blood flow.

Bouheki Nanpouboufuu (Protective Southern Gale)
Description of Jutsu: Manipulates air/wind patterns around the clansmember. Added with wind chakra, it creates a protective sphere. This Jutsu is a much more powerful version of Warm Southern Gale and is strong enough to negate all double-edged Fubuki techniques for a total of 5 minutes (50 rounds). If correctly used, this technique can negate most thrown weapon (small weapons like shuriken/kunai knives/senbon needles with extended version unless the opponent rolls a 20) damage. The extended version may cause medium-sized thrown weapons (unless the opponent rolls a 15 or above) to go off course.

Hyoutenka Youkai Rensa (Demonic Freezing Chain)
Description of Jutsu: The Fubuki performing this technique attempts to encase something or someone in ice using chakra chains. Chains wrap around the forearm and the Fubuki swings at whatever he/she wishes to freeze to the ground. The chain wraps around and the Fubuki forces the chain to the ground as it hardens. Once the attack lands, the opponent must roll Fort saves in order to break free of the ice.

Shipuu Kiritsukeru (Hurricane Slash)
Description of Jutsu: Manipulates air/wind patterns into very fine blades. These wind blades literally wraps itself around the Fubuki’s arms, as it harmonizes with the wind chakra emitted from their hands. The clansmember then uses the wind as if they’re physical blades for slashing techniques. This Jutsu is more powerful when used in combination with any long bladed or chained weapon. In this case, the wind blades wrap around the weapon itself.

Description of Jutsu: Summons a fierce cyclone of wind/ice directly at the enemy. The clansmember holds out their right palm to face their opponent (which would emit wind chakra and would manipulate the surrounding wind patterns to encircle that arm). Their left palm is placed behind the right hand’s back (which would emit ice chakra). The fingers of the left hand would then reach down to grasp the palm of the right hand through the spaces between the right hand’s fingers, and then the user would mix and harmonize both chakras into a fierce, violent cyclone.
