After leaving their gifts at the hotel Briana and Sophie had split off to do their own things. Briana knew Sophie wanted to do a bit of training with her team, to show Mewtwo that she was not a slacker, but Briana really did not have that problem. Maybe that was why she had decided to switch out her team when she had. Polianna and Eevee were pretty much her two strongest pokemon, with Shine not far behind. But the rest of her team really did not see a whole lot of action. Li had shown Briana that he too was a great member and she was quite grateful to have started bringing him to battle class. Even Scratcher was proving to be a great member. But she also remembered that when it evolved things were going to get interesting. She had done some research in Nincades and had found out that if there space a second pokemon would be created during the evolution. Briana was not sure what that had meant and was meaning to ask Mr. Jones when the trip was over and they could return to school. Maybe he had seen it happen himself. She knew Scratcher was getting ready to evolve, but was taking it's time. Briana was kinda grateful for that too. She was not sure how well she would be able to take another slime bath. These were just some of the thoughts that guided her as she wondered around Hailstone. She had not even realized that she wondered into the residential area until she heard carolers. Briana smiled and waved at them as they sang on someone's front steps. "It must be nice, being home with your family for the holidays..." Briana mused to Eevee. Eevee yipped in agreement. Maybe when Team Rocket was stopped Briana would be able to go home and hug her mom and dad and tell them to their face how much she loves them. Briana sighed, this was not the time to dwell on sad thoughts. She stroked her pokemon's head and continued walking, humming along to whatever to carolers were singing. GAVIN GREEN "This can't be right," Gavin mumbled as he wondered outside of town. Steam escaped from his mouth, riding on his breath as he exhaled. Looking for a baby store wasn't just awkward, considering it was him, but it was impossible! Every time he'd asked for directions, he'd gotten pointed to a completely different area! "Am I even in town anymore?" He looked at the half smeared address on a scrap of paper in his gloved hands, trying to shield off the cold. "Man, and I still don't have all the boxes I need. What a pain..." Crunch! The sound of someone walking in fresh snow almost had him jump. Though, looking up, he found someone on his list.
"Briana?" He blinked. What was she doing out here all on her own? In any case, he was happy to see her. He hadn't the slightest idea about who was in which room! and her present was a tricky one. It couldn't be wrapped, and there wasn't really a box to hold how strangely shaped and bulky it was. The best he could do is try and hide it under a decorative ribbon and tie on a bow--but even that didn't hide what it was... "Hey! Briana!" He hurried and sloshed through the snow. "Hey, glad I found you," He panted once he got close enough. "I haven't seen you the whole trip, so I was kinda worried that I wouldn't be able to give you your gift," He gave a nervous chuckle.

lakita_phoenix Briana stopped when she heard someone call out to her. It took her a moment to recognize the voice. What was Gavin do out here, shouldn't he be with his boy-friend and pokemon? She turned, putting her hand on her hips, about to point out that fact when he told her that he had a gift for her. A gift, they had not spoken all year, save a party for Lydia and that time on the clock tower. What was he doing giving her a gift now? If this was an attempt to woe her then he had another thing coming. And what he commenting about not seeing her all trip, it was not like they were close, or even friends anymore. "A gift, really? Whatever. What is it then?" She really could have cared less. Gavin had never been on her gift giving list and she really did not feel about that all. He was nothing but a heartbreaker to her, and she hated him for that. Team: , Shine, Li, Scratcher, ,

GAVIN GREEN Gavin sucked in a sigh at Briana's cold shoulder. Get it? Cold shoulder? "Look," He reached in his pocket. "I know we've been sort of avoiding eachother, and--well, I really don't... What I mean is... Cause I thought we might still be friends, but I know that... Um... No, what I wanted to say is..." He sighed in a defeated manner, pulling up the set of stones he had for her: The king's rock, the ever stone, and the water stone. Each one tangled in ribbon ties, and all tied together under a single bow. "I, er, well--cause Polianna could be, and I know eevee..." He stopped again. "I should probably stop talking before sounding even more like an idiot..." He held the set up for her to take, feeling run down for some unknown reason. He'd forgotten about all the pain he'd been in this year. So why did he feel so exhausted by this? The old Gavin had thought they could still be friends, and the present Gavin still had hopes for that. With all the bad around them in the world, he could use some friends for a change. "Here," He kept his hand out patiently.

Briana was stunned. Was Gavin really giving her stone for her team? Why, why would he do that? After everything he did to her... what the hell was he doing right now? Briana was angry and confused. Briana clenched her fists then released it, "Thank you." She said stiffly. Now what? She had extra apples, but they were in hotel room. "Um, I did not bring any of my gifts out while I walking... stop by my hotel room later... I'll have it there for you, I guess." That was the polite thing to do, right? But she was still angry and confused and hurt by him. But she had been taught better and that was what she was going to do. Mentally she shook her head, Gavin was just something she was going to have to learn to deal with, she guessed. Team: , Shine, Li, Scratcher, ,

нoℓℓу нσℓαнαηxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Holly walked down the streets in her winter coat, finding the night rather chilly. Her breath could clearly be seen in the night's air, but she found herself more happy than anything as she walked down the busy streets among the city's people. Though she had expected much different the night before the most prominent holiday of the year, it seemed as though those around her shared her mood. Chatter filled the air as friendly acquaintances made conversation with each other, and amidst the songs sung by nearby carolers, Holly could still hear herself humming a quiet song to herself.
Meanwhile, Poliwhirl followed close by her legs, wrapped with a wool scarf Holly evidently struggled to fit it with. It's rather round frame made it fairly difficult to do so, and as a result, the long piece of cloth was wrapped around it at several odd angles; only one eye on the Water-type visible. It seemed content with this however, and dealt with odd looks by simply shooting dirty scowls back at onlookers. It had wanted to walk around with Holly tonight, so by all means, she let it do just that!
In both her hands, Holly carried two shopping bags. Though she had been distant this year from her classmates, she decided she still wanted to show them she cared. Money had been tight with a lack of allowance from her parents in Azalea since Johto's takeover, but she found room in her budget for small gifts anyways; going so far as to send a gift back home with a post card. She wasn't entirely certain that it would get to them considering the current situation, but so long as there was hope, she was willing to try. So foolish as one might have considered her for it, she clung to the belief that they were alive, and absolutely forbade herself from thinking otherwise.
Holly then stated passing a few shops when an older woman with a long gray braid, a beat-red nose, wearing what looked like a comfortable fur coat called out to her, catching her attention. “Miss, is that Poliwhirl yours?” She asked out loud, prompting Holly to stop and look towards her curiously. Slowly raising her had, Holly pointed at herself, silently asking if it was her the woman was talking to. “Yes, you!” She laughed merrily. “I don't see any other Poliwhirl around, after all.”
Holly let out a bit of a laugh, finding what she said to be rather accurate. “I suppose you're right.” She agreed, making her way to the senior. Behind the woman was a display with all sorts of interesting items; a lot of them being nicknacks and trinkets. Judging by the sop behind the booth, Holly guessed they were out enjoying the night, while perhaps promoting their shop a bit to the side.
“Of course I'm right!” She exclaimed proudly. “And let me tell you that your Poliwhirl there looks great!” She went on. Holly was a bit taken back by this, considering what the Water-type was wearing, but continued listening to the elder go on. “I had one back in my day, but it's since long evolved into a Politoed. They're charming Pokemon, I'll have you know!” She explained, reaching back into the cacophony of scattered items behind her, and pulling out an odd looking decoration made of rock, seemingly carved out to reminisce a crown. She went and offered it to Holly, who was a bit anxious about taking the expensive looking item.
“Go ahead, take it! For free – no charge.” Urged the woman, placing it into Holly's hand. “hat's a King's Rock, you hear? If you give it to Poliwhirl over there, and you'll have yourself a Politoed soon enough.” She went on, crossing her arms as she looked down at the rather curious Tadpole Pokemon. “If you choose not to, it'll fetch a nice price, I assure you.”
“Oh, uh...” Holly paused, unsure as to what she should say. “Thanks you, really! You shouldn't have...”
The woman waved her hand dismissively. “Don't worry about it, darling! Just take good care of your Pokemon, you hear?”
Holly smiled and nodded. “You bet!”
The woman chuckled merrily and spoke once more. “Alright then, you! Go off and get home before it gets late and the creeps come on out! Have a merry Christmas, you hear?”
Holly nodded once more, and began walking once more. “You too! Merry Christmas!”Pokemonxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx x x x x x xxxx100%xxxxxxxxxi100%xxxxxxxxxi100%xxxxxxxxxi100%xxxxxxxxxi100%xxxxxxxxxii100%
